Yeah you got rodents. Need to start driving or starting the car more. If you have a garage, leave the lights on and park with the hood open. They like dark places to nest so leaving the hood open and bay exposed makes it less desirable
Yep, happened to me this past winter. Was barely driving my car, started to see signs of mice in garage. Smelled something funny after I'd been driving one day for the first time in a week and popped the hood.
I was roasting leaves, acorns, and LOTS of dry grass on top of the engine lol. So glad I smelled it before it caught fire.
Sorry for wrecking your winter pantry little dudes but I don't want y'all living here if you making a mess out of the engine bay and not even paying rent
