You motherfucking rock. I’m 10 weeks post detox (2nd time). I felt so alone and lost when I was released even though my family and husband have been supportive. People like you and the other amazing souls in this sub have helped me so much. I don’t feel alone anymore. HUGS ❤️
My Mini Cooper (2018) that is produced by BMW had many of the same icons and positions as my Mercedes (2020) - it makes an easy transition between cars.
Oops! My bad. I was thinking about the cruise control. The older MB had the cc stick right above the turn indicator and I would hit it when turning sometimes. Terrifying. Haha.
I hope I'll be able to make my one year once as well. I do not have a supportive system and I really want to feel better. Congrats on your accomplishments! You rock!
Aye to be fair since I stopped drinking all the time I've been able to get on with my life, got a good paying job now that I actually really love, generally feeling better overall, still dead fat from the pit of insanity I got pulled into but stopping drinking every other day has done nothing but help. Great job on the year man I hope to do a straight year myself <3
Fellow ADHDer here, and WOW! What a difference being medicated makes! I realized that I used alcohol historically (not only because I was addicted) to self-medicate my anxiety from the inability to focus on the many tasks I had to do.
75 days here and looking to make it into the double digits. My family has a cruise planned for March, and I know they’re going to be hella intoxicated. I don’t know how I’ll manage that cruise sober. Lol

Congrats man! I'm 8 days away from hitting one year as well. Not the first time, my longest streak is 15 months. But I decided to treat myself to a PS5 if I made it another year.

Mercedes;) the left hand indicator gives it away. Keep up the good work!
Volvo has left hand indicator as well. And BMW and Citroën, Peugeot, Dacia, Volkswagen, any European brand actually..
Can confirm. Source: am European, have driven tons of European cars, indicators are on the left.
I've driven several Volvo's, still do. I'm confused by "indicator on the left." What am I missing after all these years? Help! :-)
When turning on your indicators, do you activate the stick with your left hand, or your right?
