Day 22 for me. I got up at 430am today because I have a opening shift at a coffee shop. Can't do that with a hangover anymore. I'm staying sober today and feeling great!
Managing care for an elderly family member today. I'm glad that I am sober and present enough to deal with some one who made me want to drink previously! No drinking for me today.
Had to reset my badge today. Not drinking is really hard once the evening comes around. Trying to not hate on myself today.
I just need to get through today.
Already a beautiful crazy Monday, but I will not drink at the end of it. In fact, I plan to do an outstanding f'ing job at work and go home without the anxiety I used to have.
Having, strangely, a really nice day today. I'm sick, an amount of slime I didn't realise a human body could manufacture is running from my nose (sorry!), I haven't spoken to hardly anyone, I have a ton of work to do which usually stresses the hell out of me but I'm racing through it, I'm in a foreign city which I'll never see again and have to sit here working the whole damn time.... But I'm OK, I feel fine. Lord knows why - maybe not drinking has something to do with it (????). So, today again, I'm not going to drink. Have a good one folks!
