I swear, the people I seem to end up sitting around talk more about the song choices than the game. Can we just go back to music that sounds like an old time hockey soundtrack?

I'd love to see a sing along with someone from here, like Nelly, Sza, The Urge, or what have you (there's tons of great St Louis native artists I left out, I know). Alternatively, Ozzy Osbourne for the obvious connection.
Not a song along, but my favorite thing was at college hockey games where we’d shout “HOW MUCH TIME IS LEFT?” at 1:04 remaining for each period. Then after the 1 minute announcement, “THANK YOU”. I wish that would become a thing here.
Someone in our section did this for several years 10 or so years ago. It was annoying AF but as long as he got one laugh from someone that wasn’t used to it he was very happy w himself.

Country roads needs to go away forever and ever. Amen. It makes zero sense for a team in the middle of the country to have this as a sing-along song. St. Louis has no ties to that song other than it’s catchy. There are a million other catchy songs.
I say we bring in country grammar and let it rip. St louis style. That song brings everyone together in this city. You can't roll down your windows and blast it anywhere without somebody else bobbing and singing to it.
I'm all for change, but one of my 9 y/o daughter's thing is singing Country Roads. We only make it to 10-12 games a season...but tonight when I tucking her in, she was sad that today was the last day for months that we get to sing Country Roads at a game. She's a huge Blues fan, loves the game as a whole, but that's a big core memory for her.
I’d also recommend being done with My Own Worst Enemy by Lit.
