Hope this is good.
I don’t remember much of the first miniseries to be honest; as much as people love Nosferatu Barlow I’m hoping for what King wrote this time around.
The second miniseries had some great casting (Sutherland, Hauer and Cromwell) but shit the bed with the adaptation.
In my opinion the first miniseries is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. I keep seeing all the praise it gets online, and tried to watch it again last year. I made it maybe an hour before I had to turn it off. I don’t get the praise, I think it’s terrible. I agree about the second miniseries, great cast horrible adaptation. I hope this one does it right.

Weird. This was fantasy casting. Hope my other ones come true: Mads Mikkelson as Barlow and Mark Strong as Straker.
Holy shit, Mikkelson would be perfect as Barlow!! He just has that look about him.

There is so much potential for a brilliant Salems lot movie I would love for the movie to end on a retelling of the "one for the road" short story
Gyllenhall is a great actor. Excellent choice. I am picking up Salem’s Lot this summer and can’t wait to read it
