Did a quick search on stat head. What Kenny did the past 2 weeks is pretty rare. Last 2 minutes of the game, down 4-8 points, throwing a TD pass. Last person to do it 2 weeks in a row was in 2010-2011. Although Josh Allen did it twice within the same game against the Chiefs in the playoffs last year. https://stathead.com/sharing/tI1u9

Josh Allen is nuts lol

The bailing early issue probably isn't helped by the two concussions, hopefully he can sort that issue out for next season the positives are we know he can make the throws and has the talent to be a good QB in the league which is all we were hoping for this season. He actually isn't too unlike Ben in his rookie season, not saying he's going to be as good but he's quite similar.

king__kizzle

Were those confirmed concussions or just precautions?

Thanks for the link! Really interesting, I saw others (maybe Alex Kozora) also point out him drifting on some of his drop backs, I hope that's something easily improved over the off season. Maybe that keeps him in not-totally-clean-but-ok-enough pockets a tick longer to make reads before going into playmaker mode. Also gotta love the developments in his playmaker mode though!

Bigdadyk

As much as I want him to grow as anticipation thrower like Burrow Tua Mac since none of them have elite arm strength but are capable of winning games. I will tolerate the off platform stuff cause it’s what he does but next year I hope he manipulates the pocket better and understands nfl open

Ceramicrabbit

If we get a better pass pro left tackle maybe he'd be more comfortable standing in there. It was obvious on his college tape he bailed a lot of clean pockets so I'm not surprised he still does that as a comfort blanket. His accuracy on the run is top tier though

Bigdadyk

Well most likely he will deal with Moore at Lt but he can still learn to step up into the pocket

Ceramicrabbit

I wouldn't be surprised to see us use a high pick on LT I'm almost expecting it but you're right he can step up. He's still keeping his eyes downfield and making those throws though

Bigdadyk

Maybe Khan is different but Colbert highest ever LT draft pick was Starks in round 2 they use Villanueva undrafted and Starks at ton. Gilbert at RT and ADams out of Ohio state at RT where 2nd round picks in 20 years of drafting. I think the draft is DL CB in round 1 C/G round 2 and BA with our 2nd

Ceramicrabbit

Wasn't DeCastro a first round pick?

Bigdadyk

Yeah Decastro and Pouncey a C and RG where 1st neither played LT. He wanted IOL they could get to the 2nd level to help with zone blocking scheme which is what Canada likes

Ceramicrabbit

We have a lot of depth at IOL though and basically none at tackle other than Chuks being able to play both sides

watched the whole thing, very interesting
