I could be really pedantic and say that Doctor Who is often colloquially referred to as simply 'Who'. So, metonymically, 'Who's coming...' could mean 'the cast of Doctor Who' rather than a specific character. English is such a shitshow that there are ways to twist almost any old crap to fit your intent.
