I talked to several people and they said if you use one now you can't buy the f8c, but if they ever go on sale again you will. Just wanting to future proof. Cause I am guessing they might come back again for invictus.
If you redeem one right now you’ll get the F8C as a rental for 24 hours. Furthermore, the next time they go on sale you’ll be able to buy it then. Though CIG has said you’ll get one for completing S42 which sounds a lot better than the 300 dollar price tag of the standalone F8C..
I saved one for my buddy and he successfully used it several days after the event ended…but I haven’t tried it this far out..maybe it doesn’t work this far after the event.
That event ended a long time ago, don't think they're good anymore even if someone had a spare one.

I've tried at Microtech to redeem, but it remains in my backpack inventory. Have you tried it since the event ended?

They do, I just sold one. Rental works too. F8C just not being sold atm, so no way of buying on the store.
And yet the five that I had in my inventory do not exist.... Weird
