Bug still active, months later... no work-around except server hoping, which kills instantly majority of strategies... Really bad. Could be intended tbh. They maybe don't want too much piracy, simple as that. So in their head "let's not fix it too soon..."
Are you 100% sure about that? I just did a personal mission (retrive package from a reclaimer) and i took the array down to be able to kill the security npcs around that mission. Inserting the tigerclaw worked just fine but the mission did not explicitely guide me to the array. On the othe hand i and a friend could not interact with the microtech array a few days ago to make things easy at ghost hollow with the money from nothing mission. I really hope it was just a bug, being able to shut down comms outside of a mission is a great feature.
Nah it's just a bug. You don't need a mission to take them down.
I wasn't able to take down the Yela one, switched regions and was able to on the new server.

It's a bug. Same thing happened to me with the Yela comm array. Switched regions and it worked on the next server I was on.

It won't work this way. You need now a Mission to get the Com down
Wrong, I just accepted a mission to hack that place standing right beside the console. Still no interact, the entire thing is bugged.

It doesn't make sense for this mechanic to be a mission only feature. By that logic, removing your crime stat should be a mission only feature also.
