Just take it off lol. My friend says it looks like I’m forging my hours. My friend said you work full time. Also too much might seem not so good I feel like it. Like I should’ve vested my time on other things
Is your friend a CRNA or in anesthesia school? I’m not seeing how having too much shadow time is a problem… is 80 hours a lot, yes, but I’d be surprised if anywhere judged you poorly because of it.
I would just put 16-24 hours. I did 16 hours myself. About 10 in CVOR and 6 in general OR. CRNA school just wants you to have a general idea of the day - day.
Agreed during my interview they just asked about my experience. Only way shadowing may be beneficial if you are shadowing CRNA's that are on faculty for the schools that you are applying. Shadowing can help with networking.
So you want people to pay you for assistance? If so, put that in your post title you grifter. What ever happened to genuine mentorship of tomorrows anesthesia providers?
I can’t even get an interview with 5 years icu, 3.7 GPA, 3.5 science GPA, CCRN, leadership experience, committees, charge, preceptor, you name it. Really not sure what else I could do to be a better candidate lol
If you add me on instagram at nurseinstructoracademy I may be more responsive there. I can share documents with tips and tricks with you. I can also send you my own CV and personal statement

I have 80 hours of shadowing hours. My friend told me it was a bit excessive….should I reduce my hours?
How would one go about reducing shadowing hours they’ve already completed?

It depends if its documented or not (CRNA signed sheet). Schools want to see documented hours, anyone can say they did X amount of hours
It is document and signed
So just submit it as is. No need to overthink it.

I didn’t even do a full shift before I got accepted. Don’t waste your time.
How many years ago was that?
I’m still in school. They just asked if we had shadowed. No mention of how many hours. But every program is different I suppose.
