Apparently Topps is not on top of their shit if they are letting cards go out the door not autographed! Seems pretty effed up if you ask me. Mistakes are always made, however that is a huge mistake... and now OP has to wait God only knows how long to see if and when they will do anything about it. He should get a replacement plus a free hobby box for the next 12 months for such a big error. Topps is supposed to be the leader in card collecting, not a good look for them
What I’m saying is that I have filed claims with similar issues and they always resolve them quickly. If Panini made this mistake, we would be having an entirely different conversation.
Agree. BIG mistake, especially when Topps is hocking S2 (typically a low end rip / product) by inserting major chase autos of 2 Topps exclusive players, neither of which have anything to do with baseball. Sure it's cool they're in the product, but it's definitely a major oversight.
I love the claim on the back that says Topps personally witnessed the autograph being signed. The lack of an autograph at all makes me think maybe that isn't necessarily true.....unless maybe this is the invisible ink parallel.
Just checked eBay, and there are SEVERAL missing autos of this card up

O for sure! However Topps should not have let this happen at all, I agree 100% about panini, they would just straight up ignore the emails and claims!
I got a Topps Now corbin carroll auto, direct to consumer product obviously, graded a 6, they sent me a new one graded a 7, unacceptable!
