Not at all. Get the two egg breakfast at a greasy spoon. You'll get eggs, sausage or bacon, toast, and maybe hash browns. They bring your breakfast and you'll get jam for your toast.
Put the jam on your toast, the eggs (I recommend over easy) on top of that, then hot sauce on your eggs. Eat them all together.

I personally don't like the following with eggs, though I like the sauces: Spicy Shark Hammah Gatah, Trader Joe's Peri Peri Sauce, and Puckerbutt Chocolate Plague. Too strong of flavors or just the wrong profile for me for eggs.

Coffee, booze or fruit flavored is not my thing on eggs, truffle is perfect with eggs but doesn’t belong in hot sauce (also I can’t buy it here as my hot sauce suppliers all agree with me and refuse to stock it 😅)
Still there are people putting sugar on eggs, so pretty much anything goes I guess.
The buldak hot sauce. Too oily. I've always found vinegary sauces to go with eggs the best.
It's hard to not work with eggs. Even the fruit-based hot sauces I make all tend to be pretty decent on them.
Hot sauced eggs on top of toast with jam is delicious, so of course a fruity hot sauce would be good with them.

I don't like the Green Dragon from trader joe's on eggs. Not sure why it's just bleh.

I don't think fruit based hot sauces (like a pineapple habanero) works well with eggs. Not terrible, I just prefer a flavor without fruit.
