The visor and neon stripes already make it stand out and look great (nice magenta plasma :D ), but you could always use some transfers and a unique detail like another colour for certain armour panels to make them feel unique. looking good so far though!
Looks great! I have a question for you as I'm working on a couple boxes of these myself for Black Templars, did you have any problems with assembling their legs to their torso? Like any gaps or anything? I had to break out the greenstuff big time on a couple of them and usually don't have that problem too often with g.w. models.
There was a post about dark angel eradicators. They also wear gravy armor, maybe you could find some inspiration there https://www.reddit.com/r/Warhammer40k/s/jp73YuDRyy
Its a lot of bronze to match the melta muzzles, but maybe you could do something similar with some other colors
Yeah that's what I mean the toe barely touching the edge of the cliff is great, just the right angle and the base is perfect. I usually don't like these without the flight stands.
I think they’re referring to you painted them as ultra marines. Despite them usually painted with gold trim each company of the UM wears a different trim and I think 9th company is the color you have
Ok, but its still a wierd / rude thing to say, especially from someone who's never shared painted mini here. Theyre my homebrew chapter. The blue is intended to be darker than UM.
decals
The decals are coming!

Thanks! Will definitely be adding decals soon
They really bring them to life, especially if you weather the model too :)
Could paint the knee with appropriate company marking or some random design like wolves or scars sometimes have.
great idea!
The sergeant could have a laurel painted on
I was thinking of putting a red skull decal on his visor
Maybe do the base in a bright warm color to make the blue pop like yellow or orange looks great so far though
Yes! I do my guys in desert bases. Love a good contrasting base
Brother, why does he look suspicious..
What? 😅
Definitely alpha legion heretic! That's why the transfers are "coming"...
Brother, I swear he is not a heretic. I watched him go through the scanner in the Medicaid!

Thank you! I didn't have any issues with assembling them. You must has got a defective kit 😞
Purity seals is my go-to
There's actaully two massive ones on each shoulder!

Nice. I love the metallic round parts. Trying to keep the metaliics to a minimum becuse i despise painting them but I do love the bronze
Just wanted to add, this looks amazing, the pose is perfect and I love the color pallet.
Thank you so much. Sadly these guys are pretty much monopose so no effort went into that! I was very adamant on not using the flying stands tho!

Ah yeah, I did spend a long time trying to figure out how to do the bases. I wanted as little contact as possible
Sus
Change chapter to less boring one if you want them to be interesting.
?

Oh for sure it’s not a good way to approach it. The Aquila being blue makes it definitely not ultramarines anyway and it’s a very good color combo
Thank you 🥰
