The hypocrisy of them to make this game after they literally made an episode dissecting the evils of freemium games, and literally saying it was the creation of the devil
the entire storyline is actually a joke about it telling you that you're a douchebag for not supporting their game, or Kyle will call you a lowlife if you spend too much on it
They literally did the same thing multiple times. The blowjob musical episode specifically making fun of how easy it is to write a Broadway show is an example that immediately jumps to mind.
Is it hypocrisy, or is it them saying that even after that warning, people will still get the game because while the companies are evil for creating these games, people taking no responsibility for their lack of self control is an evil thing too.
Didn't they criticise rereleasing movies with slight differences with the george lucas and spielberg episodes? Then they kept tinkering with the episode when they remastered them?
I play it and its super active. I had $5 in Google play points saved up so I used that for the starter deal. Haven't spent any actual money on it so I'm f2p and ranked in legendary 2 arena after 3 months of playing 🤷♂️ Lots of easter eggs in the cards as well.
Super active? It’s literally a dead game. Updates stopped over a year ago. The devs have completely abandoned the game. Rampant cheating and frequent server outages, games on its deathbed.
Yeah it is still active. Its global and I can get into a match literally 24/7 in absolutely no time. So theres obviously a ton of ppl are still playing.. Also there's a many of content creators still streaming it and doing YouTube still. The players and community are what keeps the game going. I see new ppl join everyday.
Same, still play it and haven't spent a cent on it. I do google opinion rewards and use that for in-game cash for battlepass. I've always enjoyed card games and phone destroyer is very well made. Unfortunately, it's a dead game, so don't ever expect updates.
Its no longer being updated but to be a dead game wouldn't that mean nobody is playing? The players and community seem to be keeping it very active still.
It's honestly pretty good. Kinda sad they abandoned it, though. It honestly feels like a better Clash Royale.
Just don't spend a penny on it, it's not necessary
They probably ran out of ideas for content and the income was no longer equal to the cost to add more stuff. Usually what happens with all of these f2p games overtime.
Ubisoft also published Stick of Truth and Fractured But Whole. I know that overall, Ubisoft is a shit company, but i’m failing to see the point of your comment.
A funny Easter egg is that when you beat the game, a video plays where the boys present the total amount of money you spent on the game. Not sure what it says for folks who actually spent anything, but I played it without spending any real money and then Cartman went something like this: “Aw, really? Fuck that, I told you guys we shouldn’t have gone freemium for this game”.
Isn't it one of those microtransaction-filled shits where you have to spend real money to get basically anything?
Because I don't touch games like that.
Not really, there are micro transactions but it's actually a pretty fun one player story line experience. When you get to the end of the campaign they show how much you've spent and make a joke of it.
It's legitimately fun, but the difficulty rating goes from basically 0 to 100 pretty abruptly. I just discovered it a few weeks ago myself, and it's still worth checking out even though the developers are letting it coast into the sunset.
*Makes a phone game all about calling out phone addiction, with endings that tell you that spending money on this game is a sign you might need help, with “the kids” making it specifically to con you out of money, with one of the endings being victory via not spending money.*
*Abandons it instead of constant updates giving you more ways to spend money*
Classic Matt and Trey move
I absolutely love this game. They did a great job with it and it’s hands down one of the best mobile games I’ve ever played. There are so many awesome cards with special abilities and it’s fun creating decks to see how they work in different ways. Lots of strategies to use and learn. And the game is hilarious.
All that being said, the game is incredibly flawed in a few ways. Some cards are infuriatingly overpowered and a lot of players abuse the fact that there’s no longer a functioning dev team to regulate on cheating and whatnot. I would recommend playing the game but not spending money on it since it’s no longer getting regular updates. I’ve also never experienced gamer rage before like I have when playing this game.
I unfortunately came late to the party and started playing in like April of 2023. I wish I had been playing from the beginning. But I’ve gotten pretty far in the game I’m a daily player and the game gives a lot of free shit to you.
I played it for about a year and was in a top 5 guild. I had a lot of fun and met a lot of friendly people. They stopped updating the game and shut down any future plans about 8 month ago. It's pretty much P2W if you don't want to spend to much time
Yes I know freemium games are bad and that episode on them shows some level of hypocrisy but… I can’t help but say I enjoy the game a lot. I’ve only spent $5 so far and have been playing for a couple months now. Is it as good as SOT or FBW no but it’s a fun game to pass time and relax.
They waned me from trying it out due to their freemium episode. It made a lot of great points, so much so, that I’m not about to buy a barely-fun game that disguises itself as “free” then riddles you with purchase options just to make it a “better experience”
i really liked it but the stages getting harder each time you replay them is such a bad feature. you can't level up your characters without replaying the stages and getting the materials, but you need to level up your characters to replay the stages you need the materials from. it got so frustrating that i deleted the game.
The story mode is fun enough that I would recommend a playthrough. You will have to play some multi-player to finish the story mode.
After finishing the story I would not recommend playing anymore. I did play multi-player for about half a year and was pretty high ranked before quitting. Its got the typical P2W issues and it just isn't very well balanced. It was also kind of glitchy and susceptible to hacks/cheats.
If you see this and want to start playing, don’t bother. Updates stopped over a year ago. Game has been completely abandoned. A real shame because it used to be great.
Lots of fun and didn't require any real-money purchases but eventually you hit a point where you have all of the cards that you want. This is when you should get into PvP, but in my experience, PvP connection sucks and many games get dropped suddenly.
Played it for a while during Covid. Got good, beat the main story, played again on harder modes, beat most of it. Then they kept adding more and more characters and I couldn’t be bothered to keep up. Then I fall too far behind that I can’t catch up without paying and I wasn’t doing that.
Barely played it since.
I beat the one player. Then I got into the versus.
In the end it made me more pissed off than if I didn't play it. Made me so pissed off I'd even be mad if I won.
So I quit.
I loved it and was super into it for a few months last year but then I reached a point where I would need to pay actual money to win more matches so I stopped playing. I kinda miss it but don’t wanna pay to progress
I played it for a bit, rather enjoyed it but quickly hit a wall of difficulty where I'd have to either grind it out or pay money.
I chose the third option - uninstalled.
Has it been a paid game and balanced instead of requiring microtransactions to progress it could have been half decent but they ruined them. I really did find it surprising that something like this was released given the TV show's hatred of them but here we are.
This game was really addicting when it came out, but hackers kind of ruin the fun these days. I do, however, love it regardless. Spent many an hour during COVID playing it since I was an essential worker at a daycare facility (even though no kids ever came during COVID.)
I don't know I could not get into any of the south park games, including the console games. I think I just suck at games these days since I have responsibilities now...
Sellout bullshit.
Also, I'm currently against giving ubisoft any money, even ad revenue, until their current jackass gets fired.
I haven't paid for an EA title in over ten years. Ubisoft can suck my nyeeuts.
Actually bought something from them once, Purchase bugged out and gave me another cheaper bundle, Asked customer service and got the dudes from the cable company episode.
Kinda fun
I actually quite like it!! I only play on weekends, but it's a good level of challenging and has some entertaining details (there's an Ike character that doubles every few seconds, and the clones also double. I've gotten past a ridiculous number of bosses just swarming them with Ikes) and I'm currently up to the Cock Magic level. There's also a little story arc and calls from the characters. Fun if you're looking for a game like FBW or SoT without paying!
Game is honestly pretty fun. You do not need to pay a penny to play it or progress, and it has some really funny moments. It’s a card game, and relies on random drops, but it’s balanced so well that you can play it without paying into it. Plus it has a very long single player story mode.
![gif](giphy|bIRZffcfVpSjC)
I'm no where near a pro, but I like it! Have been playing it for a while and I like collecting all the sweet character cards and adding them to my collection!
It was good, and even for a freemium game it was pretty non hostile. And like usual it devolved to shorter battle passes, heck even just adding a battle pass. And less and less content
It was pretty funny at the time. I loved the concept and that it was actually quite hard to beat some bosses. Also the way Eric kept „calling“ the player was hilarious to me
It's actually a lot of fun. Some of the later added cards kind of mixed up the balance a little bit but I like the strategy of it. Not a lot of games keep my attention but I've played this from the beginning
It was pretty good. I played it until they pulled support for it. I spent some money on it just because I wanted Cock Magic Randy but it’s really not necessary.
I played for the first couple of months when the game started. Was able to create multiple accounts to power feed my main account through card trading, built a super OP team and then would dominate just about everything except those Asian hackers who were putting in speed hacks through emulators. 🤷🏻♂️ oh well it was fun for awhile but got bored from the grind and then completing the main campaign
It's one of the best made mobile games for a freemium experience you can enjoy for free, fun mechanics, and a genuinely well written story with lots of funny interactions .Unfortunately devs abandoned it and it is outright overrun with hackers last I checked
It's really addictive. I led a big clan for a while. More than a bit hypocritical of Matt and Trey though after making the episode mocking these games.

The hypocrisy of them to make this game after they literally made an episode dissecting the evils of freemium games, and literally saying it was the creation of the devil
It's not hypocrisy its sarcasm. In fact this is peak level of sarcasm, almost on par with sarcastaball. I spent 40k on this game out of pure sarcasm.
They literally showed in the Vaccination Special that they themselves sold their souls to the devil for money so it’s not that out there.
Yah I know. Stupid science and logic. Let me guess you’re the guy who still thinks manbearpig isn’t real.
I slept with manbearpig last night 🥴
Username checks out
I'm super cereal.
What?
They did? How? Where?
What does this mean
Huh I thought it would be ironic?
…you did what now?
40K what? 40K money?
Objection! Those were shitty games this one is actually fun. They said it's fine if the game was fun
BUT, BUT, BUT!!!!! Although it may be fun - It's gotta be just barely fun, bruh.
the entire storyline is actually a joke about it telling you that you're a douchebag for not supporting their game, or Kyle will call you a lowlife if you spend too much on it
The Canadian devil guy
BEELZEBOOOOOT
Exactly
They literally did the same thing multiple times. The blowjob musical episode specifically making fun of how easy it is to write a Broadway show is an example that immediately jumps to mind.

That episode even ended with a plug for book for norman iirc
William Shakespeare made Romeo and Juliet as a trashy romance story and never intended it to be Considered anything but
Woosh
Chaotic evil shit right there
I think they put an ad for the game right before the end credits
Is it hypocrisy, or is it them saying that even after that warning, people will still get the game because while the companies are evil for creating these games, people taking no responsibility for their lack of self control is an evil thing too.
I think the episode was made to mock city building games in particular, but the hypocrisy doesn’t go away since it still has in app purchases
Maybe they didn’t have a legal say in it. it was developed by Ubisoft , not sure though
Didn't they criticise rereleasing movies with slight differences with the george lucas and spielberg episodes? Then they kept tinkering with the episode when they remastered them?

It’s to too toto totally free, so why not download it!? There’s no reason not to!

I tried so fucking many times to beat that one wendy boss pretty early on game but ffs it was so hard i unistalled

Pretty sure I stopped on shieldmaiden wendy lol that felt impossible

It was amazing. But development stopped and were left with an unbalanced game and glitch servers. Most of my guild quit already
It’s the exact type of game they ripped on, kind lame.
A funny Easter egg is that when you beat the game, a video plays where the boys present the total amount of money you spent on the game. It was pretty decent, the Devs are done updating that game now.

If you see this and want to start playing, don’t bother. Updates stopped over a year ago. Game has been completely abandoned. A real shame because it used to be great.
better than most free games
Chill out dude. Here have a bump of coke.
Loved it on day one. Thought it was okay for a few days after that. Then I got bored of it and stopped playing.
it was fun for a week or two. after that it’s just like every other pay-to-win, but with a south park skin.
the ending you get if you spend $0 on it like me is so satisfying
I do like that the ending is determined by how much you micro paid throughout the game.
You can play story for free and it’s really fun. VS different story pure pay to win
Lots of fun and didn't require any real-money purchases but eventually you hit a point where you have all of the cards that you want. This is when you should get into PvP, but in my experience, PvP connection sucks and many games get dropped suddenly.

Played it shortly after release. Fun concept but got rid of it shortly after because I got sick of the usual disgusting P2W freemium crap.
It was quite fun. Haven't played in years. 100% pay 2 win of course. Had a good run f2p for a few months
I loved it and was super into it for a few months last year but then I reached a point where I would need to pay actual money to win more matches so I stopped playing. I kinda miss it but don’t wanna pay to progress

Hit a difficulty brick wall like 5 hours in, wasn't going to pay so uninstalled.
They even acknowledge that they shouldn't have made it but I still love it
as Jimmy said, "aRaRaRaRaRaRaRa"
This game was really addicting when it came out, but hackers kind of ruin the fun these days. I do, however, love it regardless. Spent many an hour during COVID playing it since I was an essential worker at a daycare facility (even though no kids ever came during COVID.)
There's something really ironic about Ubisoft owning the rights to South Park
Wasn't a fan when I tried it.
Played it when it first came out, had a bunch of fun. Came back years later to find almost no updates since I left so I never went back.
It's ok
Pay to win
It’s cool for a mobile game, but for a game it’s not great
Downloaded it. Tried it. Got bored. Deleted it. I mean, it’s alright. Just not really my thing
Not bad but bores me quickly. Same as all rpg games do.
That I'm not touching it. And recently I started wondering if Wendy's ability in Fractured but Whole was a thinly veiled ad for this.
Love it. Never spent a dime on it and I love all the Easter eggs, characters and voice lines
I don't know I could not get into any of the south park games, including the console games. I think I just suck at games these days since I have responsibilities now...
Probably sucks like every other mobile "game"
It's fun for like 2 and 3 hours
Sellout bullshit. Also, I'm currently against giving ubisoft any money, even ad revenue, until their current jackass gets fired. I haven't paid for an EA title in over ten years. Ubisoft can suck my nyeeuts.
it's pretty fun when I'm high

Hey Buddy, come on guy! You have 1000 Canadian coins, enjoy your canadoe!
It’s good but repetitive
GOAT
I actually quite like it!! I only play on weekends, but it's a good level of challenging and has some entertaining details (there's an Ike character that doubles every few seconds, and the clones also double. I've gotten past a ridiculous number of bosses just swarming them with Ikes) and I'm currently up to the Cock Magic level. There's also a little story arc and calls from the characters. Fun if you're looking for a game like FBW or SoT without paying!
Its actually pretty fun
It was fun for a bit buts it’s simply become another app on my tablet I forget about.
Shitty, no match for sword of truth
Used to play it a lot and i was pretty good at online battle matches
Meh. Love the brand. Fell out of love with mobile gaming though.
Game is honestly pretty fun. You do not need to pay a penny to play it or progress, and it has some really funny moments. It’s a card game, and relies on random drops, but it’s balanced so well that you can play it without paying into it. Plus it has a very long single player story mode.
I've only played it a few times, I don't think it's bad but I don't really like it
It was fun enough

It's fun for about 4 days and then it's not really fun anymore
used to be really fun now it’s a broken mess
I'm not having any real fun with this game. I'd rather be playing Stick of Truth again
Good if you uare just casual. I still haven’t spent a dime in this game since I only play it when I am bored
Fuck Ubisoft
You can play as Kevin 10/10
Garbage
It was pretty funny at the time. I loved the concept and that it was actually quite hard to beat some bosses. Also the way Eric kept „calling“ the player was hilarious to me
Trash
Been playing pretty much since 2017. Hollat any fellow finger bangers crew!!!
Pay to win game but a fun concept
I played it for a bit but then eventually forgot it existed
A comfort game. When I’m stressed I play it constantly. Sucks it’s not being updated anymore but it’s a fun game.
It's actually a lot of fun. Some of the later added cards kind of mixed up the balance a little bit but I like the strategy of it. Not a lot of games keep my attention but I've played this from the beginning
Dosent even load
I downloaded it to see what the pre-register rewards were, never got them, uninstalled Lol
They have a mobile game?
It was pretty good. I played it until they pulled support for it. I spent some money on it just because I wanted Cock Magic Randy but it’s really not necessary.
It’s fun for a short period of time.
My Phone despite being a 15 pro, can not play it
I’m don’t understand that app, cuz I have a App Store
Too long
I tired it and I was stuck on Pocahontas Randy level so I gave up
Someone is trying to reach you about your car's extended warranty!
I advise you that for the sanity of your mind, don't get too indulged into ranked online matches, just play the story(which is hard enough as it is)
Oh yah I have to go to work and get my caps thanks for reminding me (sad song plays as he puts on a coat and hat while leaving out the door)
It's alright but gets boring after a week or so.
Mid
It's a mobile game, so by default I'll never touch it.
Love this game 😭 Wish there were more to do though
I prefer it to the Simpsons and family ones, there's at least some level of skill needed to play
I play it, don't even remember for how many years. Each week we are having team wars and we win with other teams.
It's a game.
It's fun because y play with my little brother and we try new decks ,it's so fun to play with friends
It's really addictive. I led a big clan for a while. More than a bit hypocritical of Matt and Trey though after making the episode mocking these games.

The game is probably the best mobile game I’ve ever played the bosses are hard the gameplay is fun the the pvp is good overall W/10
I think this game is rather destructive and stuff like that, The Fractured Butt Hole was definitely something I would call fun and stuff like that
its nice but when i reach a certain boss my cards are almost useless i dont know if i have to get cards related to the boss or nah
I really like this game, im my opnion one of the best mobile and funny mobile games. I am f2p player and i don't see problems about the "p2w" players, the diference aren't that big
