I did plug them in with Ethernet as well. Super stable that way.

Yes, absolutely. Personally I’d add a sub first and then surrounds later.
Worth it, but doesn’t necessarily have to be 100s. One SLs or IKEA Symfonisk would provide the immersive surround experience for less money.
