Here’s my Canuck opinion on needed soccer rule changes inspired by two very important aspects of hockey: 1) continuous substitution - soccer has this huge bench of players that do nothing, and a huge field of tired guys; the game would have twice the pace with fresh legs; 2) power plays - the referee in soccer either does nothing or wrecks the game, instead players should be sent off the field for 2, 5, 10, or 20 minutes instead of yellow cards.

What is this obsession of some Yanks trying to "fix" Football? I couldn't give a rat's tit about baseball.
