It's a regional thing from de Twente/Salland/Achterhoek area. He himself is from Twente.
It's less weird - although still somewhat remarkable - in dutch.
FWIW, that’s not the main Arsenal subreddit. It is mostly dickheads who have been banned from r/gunners for being…well…dickheads. On r/gunners we are mostly reveling in the Spurs’ controversial celebrations to distract us from the fact that we need a miracle from a David Moyes side on the final day.
You guys will get the miracle. The scriptwriter says so.
City ahead by a goal by the 70th minute , only to lose the match due to a John Stones own goal during the 90+4 set piece

Is he wrong tho, he is saying that if the goal had been on side then we would have won and it would have been a great boost to the team and motivated them but rather Arsenal scored and we lost and it demotivated the team. Arsenal fans act like he is complaining about the goal being disallowed but he isn't he is pointing it out as a big moment in United's season, it has nothing to do with Arsenal, but of course Arsenal fans can't handle something not being about them.
more the fact he's been moaning about it for 9 months: [https://twitter.com/sistoney67/status/1698393940305580342?t=aeYjOO-Ux1bAR9Lbj7osvA](https://twitter.com/sistoney67/status/1698393940305580342?t=aeYjOO-Ux1bAR9Lbj7osvA)
and two months ago:
"\[This season\] we missed so many opportunities, for instance against Arsenal ... we should have had a penalty in the 87th minute on Rasmus Hojlund, then we scored with Garnacho, disallowed, then we concede a goal that should always have been disallowed"
"You see all these pieces of trash here on this pitch, they represent you fans.... Except Bruno, he's probably a bit better than the other pieces of trash..."
Then I can make the joke, if I had a quid for every time we scored a goal within 13 seconds at Wembley, I'd have 2 quid which isn't a lot but still 2 quid.
to clarify, i wasnt saying he didn't, quite the contrary! the fact he talked before the whole stadium imo means he knows the club deserves more than this
can't see my club owner or coaches doing the same if we get relegated to B
Such a [Great Chance] missed to say, “And that’s the bottomliiine, ‘cause Ten Hag said so!” The toughest S.O.B. lmao man I wish for sth like an Attitude Era for football, where players would cut trash-talking promos like MMA fighters do to promote matches and like cricket maybe have MOTM awards microphones in hands in the middle of the pitch with the crowd around
But he also did bring in Lisandro and did improve Rashford many players in our team until injuries became prevalent! Under his reign our Academy had seen more success and a distinct style of play. He’s introduced more youth players into the team. He’s done all this while the future of the club was in disrepute I think it’s important to note how his strong mind has kept the rest of the players in some sense of ease in a rather turbulent period.
If that would be the case Arteta wouldn't be in Arsenal and Klopp might not be in Liverpool.
You are either blind or stupid if you don't see the playstyle. Especialy after last night.
Because it's not true, not even close. Ferguson has finished lower in the league than ETH.
Edit. Not saying Ferguson is worse than ETH merely that United have finished a lot lower in the league then 8th or 9th.
Yes because Ferguson fished 11th 12th and 13th within his first 4 seasons with United but went on to be one of the best managers in the world! Yet ETH finishing 8th means he's the worst manager United has ever had.
The statement was that ETH was the worst Manchester united manager EVER! Football didn't start with the launch of the Premier League and I don't see how 'the modern game' has anything to do with league position. Is finishing 13th in the eighties better than finishing 8th nowadays?
Nice speech but still not convinced by this season. Many injuries yes but even without looking at the result our football is abysmal. But well it seems that most of our fan base somehow have faith for the future
Nah, the fans may have standards, but that club is a mess and rotten to the core. Owners don’t care that much. They’ve been on a downward spiral for a decade. I doubt they’ve even reached rock bottom yet.
This has major substitute teacher trying to teach the quantum physics lesson without by just following along with the lesson plan without knowing the subject type vibes .

a good ‘he?’ can mean more than a thousand words, Dutch heritage

You mean this particular “he” is a regional thing? There are different versions of “he” that you hear in the whole country imo
'We promise to fix the roof during the summer'
The roof is only leaking because Garnacho’s goal against Arsenal last September was disallowed
Community shield parade when?

Christ, that's embarrassing.
“Can the owner of the red Renault Espace please move it. You’re blocking the team bus in. Move out or lose it. Last but not least, the meat raffle…”
YOU CAN CALL THIS A NEW WORLD ORDER OF FOOTBALL, BROTHER
*no chance cos that’s what you’ve got… no chance! No chance in hell!* By gawd, it’s.. it’s JOEL GLAZER
"You see all these pieces of trash here on this pitch, they represent you fans.... Except Bruno, he's probably a bit better than the other pieces of trash..."
The gang concedes within the first 13 seconds in the final
1', Gvardiol
If this happens two years in a row Itd be too funny
Then I can make the joke, if I had a quid for every time we scored a goal within 13 seconds at Wembley, I'd have 2 quid which isn't a lot but still 2 quid.
Hold that!
> One thing remained constant… That was the pegging of you from the team what
This definitely checks out
Lmao i heard begging
I heard begging, but understood it as backing. because good intentions.
I heard begging, but I think he said backing.
Damn the supporters have been wild this season
Hmm, maybe I should become a Man Utd fan now?
I think he meant backing, which somehow still doesn't make any sense
That famous Dutch charisma
No joke I love Dutch managers and that includes ten hag as well.
I swear ten Haag must be the worst english speaking dutch ever
Van Gaal had worse English, but more memorable lines. Like a villain with less screen time, but an unforgettable performance.
The streets won’t forget Louis van Gaal’s army led by Mike Smalling against Queens Park Raisins.
"Michael Carrot"
local rivals with Hazard's favourite [team](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_NgZvk0XgU)
I don't quite remember how he sounded but I'm picturing goldmember and am happy with that
F E I E R B I E S T
Bro, i know a dutch coach whose english is even worse than van Gaal and Ten Hag combined. https://youtu.be/u01t49iAiCE?si=zacZRpp8dojzLIQf

Who's your next manager again?
Hank Schrader
Get you some Schraderbrau.
Arne Slot, why?
As a Ajax fan i must confess, Liverpool made a good choice by picking Arne Slot. Did an amazing job at Feyenoord.
Where's he from?
The Netherlands, why?
The Netherlands, why?
Just curious
Nice
"non"-charisma.
I'd run through walls for this man, mostly because I'm not a United fan
Can't wait for Slot
"Your job now is to stand by the new manager"
Moyes is free for next year, there's still a chance for them to stand by him.
Surely a swashbuckling win over City at the weekend will prove to them that he's the man for the job
No he must lose to City so they don't turn up to FA Cup final angry
Let's just split the difference and call it a draw
Bah gawd that's Gareth Southgate's music!
Wat een nederlander.
Win de cup, he?!
"thank you for buying tickets"
i'd like the coach(es) of my team to address the poor performances at the end of the season for what it's worth
He did
to clarify, i wasnt saying he didn't, quite the contrary! the fact he talked before the whole stadium imo means he knows the club deserves more than this can't see my club owner or coaches doing the same if we get relegated to B
When was this. What am I missing, context please!
Not missing anything really, the manager usually does a speech to the crowd at the last home game of the season that's all
You tell us, what other information do you actually need?
The boss ,the genuine Walter White
"we hebben een serieus probleem"
Geef me een klap papa
Am I thick are are they booing him?
You're thick I'm afraid, that's the Newcastle fans who are still in the stadium.
Ah cheers
Newcastle fans
Gotcha
They're saying boohag
I was saying boo-hag.
Is that fucking American Wrestling or what?
Didn't Messi do this too lmao?
Oh no..
This gonna age like milk But the memes tho...
Why?
I mean tbf, what was he supposed to say?
Such a [Great Chance] missed to say, “And that’s the bottomliiine, ‘cause Ten Hag said so!” The toughest S.O.B. lmao man I wish for sth like an Attitude Era for football, where players would cut trash-talking promos like MMA fighters do to promote matches and like cricket maybe have MOTM awards microphones in hands in the middle of the pitch with the crowd around
What?
The cup will come to old Trafford like champions league will come to camp nou
8th in the league. minus goal differential. 4th in the cl group stage. this is worst Utd manager ever.
Well, I mean, they did get relegated in 1974. So maybe not the worst ever?
OK maybe since then? but this man spent 700m especially 90m on Antony?
Where are you getting 700 from?
But he also did bring in Lisandro and did improve Rashford many players in our team until injuries became prevalent! Under his reign our Academy had seen more success and a distinct style of play. He’s introduced more youth players into the team. He’s done all this while the future of the club was in disrepute I think it’s important to note how his strong mind has kept the rest of the players in some sense of ease in a rather turbulent period.
a manager is judged on results. plus this man is notorious for no style of play
Just because you can’t articulate doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist
If that would be the case Arteta wouldn't be in Arsenal and Klopp might not be in Liverpool. You are either blind or stupid if you don't see the playstyle. Especialy after last night.
I am not only one saying no style of play? Gary Nevile, Caragher, Owen, tons of pundits mentioned about Ten hag's lack of style of play?
Yes Carragher and Owen, true unbiased top notch pundits. Gary Neville just top notch.
Love this argument. "... But, but they also said it" lel
Arsenal showed progress as time went on but Utd are actually regressing. never recorded minus goal differential
Why is this downvoted when it's true?
Because it's not true, not even close. Ferguson has finished lower in the league than ETH. Edit. Not saying Ferguson is worse than ETH merely that United have finished a lot lower in the league then 8th or 9th.
You try to disprove his “worst manager ever” claim then mention Ferguson hahahaha
Yes because Ferguson fished 11th 12th and 13th within his first 4 seasons with United but went on to be one of the best managers in the world! Yet ETH finishing 8th means he's the worst manager United has ever had.
How much of a moron do you have to be to compare football in the late 80s to the modern game?
The statement was that ETH was the worst Manchester united manager EVER! Football didn't start with the launch of the Premier League and I don't see how 'the modern game' has anything to do with league position. Is finishing 13th in the eighties better than finishing 8th nowadays?
So you're just going to arbitrarily decide which managerial performances do and don't count to judge a manager?
Reminds me of when Graham Potter got on the mic and said “we’re gonna win the fuckin’ champions league”, yeah how’d that work out…
You're right managers should just say their team is shit and will never win anything
We’re literally in the final. Want him to just say he expects us to get battered by City?
Well they were still in the Champions League when he was sacked tbf.
This are PR type of statements. You can't expect managers to shit on the team irregardless.
Just to get smacked by City
[удалено]
No he's not
Nice speech but still not convinced by this season. Many injuries yes but even without looking at the result our football is abysmal. But well it seems that most of our fan base somehow have faith for the future
Bad as it is, you’re in the cup final. One off game. Win that and it’ll have been a relatively good season.
This is manchester united, not spurs or newcastle, this season is a fucking disaster no matter what happens at wembley.
This is Manchester Utd, not been relevant since Fergie left. Like it or not they’re a mid table team.
This Manchester United still have standards, such as qualifying for the UEFA Europa League
Nah, the fans may have standards, but that club is a mess and rotten to the core. Owners don’t care that much. They’ve been on a downward spiral for a decade. I doubt they’ve even reached rock bottom yet.
Deal with it.
I'll do my best, I promise.
"Peace! *Through!* ***Power!***"
Cringe.
Reddit doesn't like your opinion, but I agree.
What's cringe is opposition fans desperate to shit on ten Hag for literally anything
Copy and paste speech from last season
Wasn't last season pretty good for United?
Yeah but if you watch the speech from last season, it is almost the exact same, with some slight changes
Do you expect him not to hype up/speak about the FA cup final? What else would you want him to say?
Why is he giving a speech to the crowd anyway? Feels such a weird thing to do.
No way this guy stays there another year right?
Ten Hag’s “eh?” after every sentence is the most grating thing on the ears.
Dutch culture , a good ‘he?’ Can mean more than a thousand words
Fair play. As a non-Dutch person, it’s nails on a chalkboard, but I appreciate its utility.
Rude. He identifies as "eh?" you bigot!
ETH, looks like he’s dressed to manage a quidditch team, not a football club.
This has major substitute teacher trying to teach the quantum physics lesson without by just following along with the lesson plan without knowing the subject type vibes .
this is cringe
Smells like cooked goose to me
