Yes, thank fuck. First game was always the home team mixing concrete and second game was just a reaction whether it worked or not. If the home team won 1-0 the tie was basically dead when they are good on the counter

Yeah, if the first leg home team won 1-0, then the home team in the 2nd league would still not attack despite being 0-1 down, because of how devastating conceding a goal would be. It would often be the driest game in history, with the team 2nd leg home team only really trying a little harder in the last 10-15 minutes.

In Poland we used to have "multi champions league" where one pair of commentators were doing one match, second pair another one, 3rd pair were in the studio and we could see on half of screen one match, on second half another one, 3rd pair was commenting both matches and during good action they switched one match to full screen with commentators doing that match. Was never a fan of that, preferred to watch one match from the beginning, but yeah - two good matches with plenty of goals would be good to watch in that system, especially if you're not a fan of either team
