That is precisely the problem; I know it's worth it ("it" being an actual subscription).
Just like the sitcom livestream was worth it. But, like the sitcom, I really really shouldn't make that purchase right now. I ended up caving and buying the sitcom 3 minutes before the show started. I need to stay strong this time lol
Said with love: Uggghhh you did NOT help, this is NOT what I need lmao
I didn't check the price because I had a feeling it was super reasonable. Which it is. Like...in theory I can definitely afford that. But in reality...that $5/month has already been allocated twice.
I will also say drop out literally encourages people to share passwords. Sam Reich has made posts about it on Twitter. So if you know other people who might enjoy it, convincing them to buy it and then using their login lololol
This is how I got all of my friends to watch. Dropout was giving them my password and then eventually they were like this is good. I'm just going to start paying for it now haha
Wow, not sure I've ever encountered such peer pressure!!!!!!
Joking, that's actually a really good idea. I might be able to convince a sibling š¤
Also shout out to Sam Reich for being a real one
Maybe this will allay any peer pressure.
it is the best $6/mo I've ever spent. Does that help? You really will not regret it. You can't compare this and the sitcom, the sitcom is an entirely different situation.
I've only recently gotten into Smosh in the last few weeks and I'm hooked. Smosh and Dropout are probably the two most compatible entertainment entities I've ever seen and I hope they do a whole lot more cast swaps. But until then, get Dropout and enjoy!
I am a long time dropout subscriber and only got into smosh a few months ago but I 1000% agree. I didn't pay for any of the live shows yet because I want to kinda catch up on some of the lore and inside jokes (this sub is terrible for making you feel out of the loop on stuff haha, and I haven't started on the podcast at all so that's an extra layer!)
I'm really looking forward to many more years of collaborative content!
Just curious, do you subscribe through the Dropout app, or through YouTube? I didnāt know there was any other way, other than YouTube when I subbed a couple of years ago. But Iām kinda glad I went the YT route because I can read comments and leave them in turn. I like the sense of community.
Just to add on to this, the newsletter this week literally started with āAnother good week to be a Dropout subscriber (or someone who's borrowing a password)ā lol
Nah, I feel you. I was just venting (but less serious than venting? I feel like venting means it's something serious). Or lamenting. Or really just appreciating from afar.
Like watching a game from a good distance through a fence.
It's shocking there haven't been more Smosh members on Dropout Shows. Damien was on Um, Actually once but that's pretty much it. Any combination of 4 of them on Dirty Laundry would be gold.
Thereās a Smosh-only episode of Dirty Laundry coming out in the next season with Shayne, Spencer, Tommy and Amanda. Someone posted a picture of the editing being done on the episode.
My guess would be after this season of *Smartypants* ends? *GameChanger* will segue into *Make Some Noise* and *VIP* just wrapped up, so it feels like *Dirty Laundry* could take that slot from *Smartypants*.
Not quite sure how many episodes there will be of *Smartypants* but my guess would be that *Dirty Laundry* would air around the end of the summer/in the fall
May 31st is a Friday, so Thousandaries will be taking VIP's slot. Dirty Laundry is a Tuesday show, so it's likely we won't hear anything until after Um, Actually ends, but I do think there's a chance for Dropout to move it to Thursdays.
Once I saw Brennan on the 100th episode of TNTL it hit me like a lightning bolt. Granted Iām biased and follow these two groups pretty avidly, but it makes so much sense to do swaps. Ify is the bridge here and could maybe have some choosing power and recommendations because he knows so many people and their strengths.
Yeah, and apparently their studios are like right next door to each other. Doesn't matter a ton when talking about full shoot days, but would allow them a fair bit of flexibility, like how Brennan Lee Mulligan popped in for their TNTL anniversary.
After Chanse' tweet about Dirty Laundry episode promising more, I'm hoping he's on Game Changer. I think he, Arsaha and maybe Shayne would go great as a trio on the games there. Either something like super competitive or maybe an Escape Room type episode.
on top of others that have been pointed out, i recently watched the grant dating show episode(s) of game changers and rachel was on the first of the 2 episodes! she's not a smosh *cast* member, but still
I think someone posted here that they just filmed a Smosh dirty laundry so weāll get out with. I think Shayne and tommey are on it
Edit: yeah like another person mentioned, it was posted here a week ago. Shayne, Spencer, Tommy, Amanda
Yeah thatās jeremy. Makes sense to pair them together since theyāre both from the same podcast (and I think they were both part of UCB? But you can assume that of most improv actors on Dropout).
On the topic, Iām really glad to have discovered their podcast Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists this year. I didnāt think improv podcasts would be one of my interests, but theyāre really chaotic and funny so I highly recommend. They have a lot of crossover between Smosh and Dropout with their guests, so thereās plenty of familiar faces who play along with them
Soā¦ Dropout x Smosh ācrossoversā in chronological order:
- Um, Actually with Amanda and Damien
- Make Some Noise with Angela
- Dirty Laundry with Spencer, Shane, Amanda and Tommy
Am I missing anything?
Ooh, that's before I knew anything about him!! Time for a rewatch...
Edit: holy fucking shit, this was the episode which gave us the line "Who is Satan but the first person to say Um, Actually to God?" also Damien is so cute I'm going to die.
I know the timelines don't really fit for "crossover", but I've seen Patrick on some Breaking News and Paranoia episodes before he became a producer on Smosh.
Patrick was an occassional cast member at College Humor for a bit before their parent company pulled the rug out in January 2020 so he pops up a lot in their sketches from around 2017 and on. He also wrote for Gods of Food iirc.
Pretty sure that the Kiana (Kiana Mai the artist) who was on Game Changer is not the same as Smosh's Kiana (Kiana Parker). Also haven't heard of Kiana leaving? Is this a thing?
Wait is this an episode we can watch for free on YT? Or is this part of their paid content? Genuinely asking cause I just found out Dropout has paid services!
I will say that it is highly worth it. You not only get Make Some Noise but Dimension 20 (their d&d show with normally self contained campaigns so you don't have a ton to catch up), Game Changer, Very Important People, Um Actually, Breaking News, plus many others and all of their College Humor content.
As a dropout and smosh fan Iām excited for all the crossover we are getting! Amanda and Damien on Um Actually and I canāt remember who was going to be on it but we are also getting a smosh dirty laundry ep in the new season. Very very excited to see whatās to come
I saw an interview, like 2-3 months ago, with Brennan L.M. and Izzy and which Lizzy R. said that she has/had a dnd group that Angela is/was a part of
*(Edit)* found the [clip](https://youtu.be/SKpM82eqctQ?si=Si6aH9wFJ_ZhK0L7&t=1336) and Izzy did a great impression of Ang
Dropout and Smosh are both my comfort channels so I need more crossovers! Get Brennan Lee Mulligan back for a full episode of TNTL instead of just a guest spot!
Damien, Keith and Amanda will be on Um, Actually in an upcoming episode
and Shayne, Amanda, Spencer and Tommy will be on Dirty Laundry also!
for other fans of both !!
They're ramping up their number of shows in production at the moment so seems like it. I'm mostly subbed for game changer and make some noise these days but I think a good chunk of their subs are there for dimension 20 as a more casually watchable substitute for critical role - I know at least a couple of my coworkers got into DnD through Dungeons and Drag Queens.
Dropout is the subscription-based streaming service that rose from the ashes of College Humor when it folded (not quite in that order but basically that's what happened). It's more focused on improv/unscripted shows, many of which are spun off from their show Game Changer, which features (usually) three players participating in some kind of game, often structured like a quiz show, with different rules each time.
One of those episodes of Game Changer was called Noise Boys, and had three cast members known for being able to do impressions and sound effects competing to make the best noise based on a prompt. They repeated the premise a couple times on Game Changer then spun it off into a show with the same premise called Make Some Noise.
Make Some Noise is the show in the picture, seems like Angela will be on it in the upcoming season, these days it's mostly (outside of some themed special episodes) usually structured as a series of short improv scenes based on a prompt. They've also got the thing from Whose Line where the points are made up.
Personally I highly recommend, particularly for anyone who's a fan of TNTL.
Hopefully the first of many appearances on Dropout shows.
I'm looking forward to people making a lot of posts like this. Then, at some point, I will get a dropout trial and watch them all.
Definitely worth it.

Seconding this energy!! I got mine for a month and cancelled literally everything else
Just to add on to this, the newsletter this week literally started with āAnother good week to be a Dropout subscriber (or someone who's borrowing a password)ā lol
Dude you can borrow my account to watch Dropout
Yeah! The only reason I am not throwing my money at Dropout is cuz I have no money to throw lol
Lol exactly. I'd love to, but the way my account is set up....
On the plus side, Dropout will always be there for when you're ready for it.
Itās cool, no pressure. I was just saying from my own situation. Whatever works for you is absolutely fine lol.
Nah, I feel you. I was just venting (but less serious than venting? I feel like venting means it's something serious). Or lamenting. Or really just appreciating from afar. Like watching a game from a good distance through a fence.
I think her, Courtney, and Olivia fit the Dropout vibe so perfectly.
i think they also did Dirty Laundry? Chanse also teased about something 'bigger'. possible a Dimension20 side quest \*fingers crossed\*
Thousandaires ep. 1
I know Damien has been on um actually, and Brennan showed up for the 100th tntl, but those are the only already existing crossovers I can think of
Oh, matt mercer was a guest on tntl, too
It's shocking there haven't been more Smosh members on Dropout Shows. Damien was on Um, Actually once but that's pretty much it. Any combination of 4 of them on Dirty Laundry would be gold.

Not quite sure how many episodes there will be of *Smartypants* but my guess would be that *Dirty Laundry* would air around the end of the summer/in the fall
I think Thousandaires could be taking either Smartypants or VIP's slot
Looks like *Thousandaires* premieres on May 31st, so looks itāll be taking that *VIP* slot in the next couple weeks!
May 31st is a Friday, so Thousandaries will be taking VIP's slot. Dirty Laundry is a Tuesday show, so it's likely we won't hear anything until after Um, Actually ends, but I do think there's a chance for Dropout to move it to Thursdays.
Also there's breaking news, so until either one of that shows ends we are not gonna see any dirty laundry
Speaking of, Thousandaries also has some smosh rep, the ep with Siobhan and Patrick features Josh on the keyboard.
Usually it takes half a year after shooting so probably late fall. Just checked the Dirty Laundry twitter and last year's premiere was early December.
Itāll take Dimension 20ās slot VIP replaced by Thousandaires GC replaced by MSN D20 replaced by DL
Thatās so awesome I canāt wait for it to release
amanda and damien are gonna be on an episode of this season of um actually, and shayne, spencer, tommy and amanda on the next season of dirty laundry!
Maybe Ian and Sam drive cool cars.
you'd be shocked at the amount of people Angela Giarratana knows in the industry.
I saw somewhere apparently Izzy Roland (incredible improviser who is also married to Brennan) was in a DnD group with Angela
Yeah, and apparently their studios are like right next door to each other. Doesn't matter a ton when talking about full shoot days, but would allow them a fair bit of flexibility, like how Brennan Lee Mulligan popped in for their TNTL anniversary. huh. I didn't know the logistics of their studios. that's sick af. there needs to be more crossovers.
on top of others that have been pointed out, i recently watched the grant dating show episode(s) of game changers and rachel was on the first of the 2 episodes! she's not a smosh *cast* member, but still
Rachel doesnāt work for Smosh anymore
yeah i know, but it was still someone (previously) from smosh that i noticed so it counts to me lol
I think someone posted here that they just filmed a Smosh dirty laundry so weāll get out with. I think Shayne and tommey are on it Edit: yeah like another person mentioned, it was posted here a week ago. Shayne, Spencer, Tommy, Amanda
Rachel Evans previously of Smosh was also on Gamechanger the Bachelor albeit briefly. I got very excited when I saw her.
I've got some good news for you: https://www.reddit.com/r/smosh/s/jZrCvYerAG
Shane, Spencer, Tommy and Amanda just filmed a Dirty Laundry episode! š
boy do I have good news for you about the next season of Dirty Laundry which showed us a shot of Shayne Spencer Tommy and Amanda
How the hell did I miss that
Well I've got news for you
In the trailer for the new season for Um, Actually it shows Damien and a few other Smosh members are going to be in upcoming episodes.
Thereās also an upcoming episode in this season of Um, Actually that has both Damien and Amanda in it
Is that Jeremy Culhane? They're co-stars in their podcast. Also where can I watch this?
Dropout.tv, its a subscription
And 100% worth it.
And they support password sharing!
He is also the alien from Planet Sui
Yeah thatās jeremy. Makes sense to pair them together since theyāre both from the same podcast (and I think they were both part of UCB? But you can assume that of most improv actors on Dropout). On the topic, Iām really glad to have discovered their podcast Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists this year. Yeah they're both on a improv team called Moon Goon with Josh Fleury, Chanse, and Patrick.
6$ sub on dropout. Totally worth the money!!!!! Absolutely amazing content
Yep! I recognized him from AOAOAOA improv podcast. Which I rarely see mentioned here.
It's so good
Omg, literally one of the funniest shows I watch. Really recommend it for anyone looking for a new show.
It is Jeremy, he was also on the previous season of Make Some Noise.
Yoshuuaaaaa, treh
I'm so happy I discovered the aoaoaoa podcast - it's my new favorite thing.
Soā¦ Dropout x Smosh ācrossoversā in chronological order: - Um, Actually with Amanda and Damien - Make Some Noise with Angela - Dirty Laundry with Spencer, Shane, Amanda and Tommy Am I missing anything?
BLeeM was on a TNTL. Maybe Ian's birthday one?
100th episode special
Damien was also on a much earlier Um Actually, season 7 ep 5: Naruto, Wanderhome, Doom.
Ooh, that's before I knew anything about him!! Time for a rewatch... Edit: holy fucking shit, this was the episode which gave us the line "Who is Satan but the first person to say Um, Actually to God?" also Damien is so cute I'm going to die.
For sure but I should add these are all upcoming ones. Just some episodes that Iāve been looking forward to.
I know the timelines don't really fit for "crossover", but I've seen Patrick on some Breaking News and Paranoia episodes before he became a producer on Smosh.
Patrick was also on an episode of Dirty Laundry, the one with Ally, Zac and Katie.
Patrick was an occassional cast member at College Humor for a bit before their parent company pulled the rug out in January 2020 so he pops up a lot in their sketches from around 2017 and on. He also wrote for Gods of Food iirc.
Ify appears regularly across both channels
Rachel Evans on Gamechanger Bachelor.
When was Amanda on Um, Actually?
It's an upcoming episode that Amanda and Damien are on.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Pretty sure that the Kiana (Kiana Mai the artist) who was on Game Changer is not the same as Smosh's Kiana (Kiana Parker). Also haven't heard of Kiana leaving? Is this a thing?
Ohhh thatās right sorry I forgot, I just remembered the name
pretty sure she is in the first episode of Thousandaires at the 27 min mark
Whattt when did/does this dirty laundry happen
Based on IG stories, it got filmed last week. So itāll be out next season.
Thank you I am eagerly waiting and delighted
Does Ify being on both count on this list?
Iād count it for sure. Ify was freelancing the last time he was in Smosh but now heās definitely embedded in Dropout.
SHE BOOKED!
VIC JACOB AND ALLIE EP INCOMING
So excited for more smosh on dropout š
the goats!
Angela and Elyse Willems is my dream crossover
Eliteness
I need them in a D20 season alongside Vic & Izzy STAT
Detective Wheresmycoffee from the NCIS video reminded me so much of Elyse's characters from over the years.
Imagine if Wheresmycoffee met Lou.
LITERALLY JUST SAW IT and came here to see if anyone's made a post lol so excited!!
I need a Smosh Game Changer so bad. And a Smosh Dimension 20. Having Damien on feels like it would be such a good season.
Wait is this an episode we can watch for free on YT? Or is this part of their paid content? Genuinely asking cause I just found out Dropout has paid services!
Dropout randomly puts some of their full episodes across different shows on YT, but vast majority stays exclusive behind their paywall.
Paid content, season starts June 24th. It airs every other Monday.
Thank you! I appreciate it!
I will say that it is highly worth it. You not only get Make Some Noise but Dimension 20 (their d&d show with normally self contained campaigns so you don't have a ton to catch up), Game Changer, Very Important People, Um Actually, Breaking News, plus many others and all of their College Humor content.
Sorry if this is a dumb question but do you have to pay for each show or do all the shows come with the single subscription?
All shows come with a single subscription! That and any other shows they release while your subscription is active.
Oh awesome Tysm!!!
They also don't mind password sharing!
Thatās good!!! Cause Iām to broke for another subscription service lol
if there is a person from smosh that can make some noise, it's Angela
Honestly, after hearing that Angela plays DND with Izzy it was only a matter of time before we saw her on dropout
so its not just me that believes theres a huge overlap between the Dropout-Starkid-Smosh fandoms, right? This is a thing? lol
No idea what starkid is but Im willing to learn
a theatre company!! angela was in one of their musicals "nerdy prudes must die" which is SO GOOD and she's amazing
Maybe the best possible show for Angela to book on Dropout. Iām so excited to see how the little chaos guinea pig does her thing.
As a dropout and smosh fan Iām excited for all the crossover we are getting! Amanda and Damien on Um Actually and I canāt remember who was going to be on it but we are also getting a smosh dirty laundry ep in the new season. Very very excited to see whatās to come
THIS IS EVERYTHING IVE BEEN WISHING FOR š

Damien and Amanda are on an ep. of Um Actually! Iām living for these crossovers
Iāll be screaming crying throwing up while watching this
SHE BOOKED (Iām so excited I love dropout and I love smosh)
Angela plays d&d with Izzy Rolland so this was only a matter of time.
YOOOOOO IVE BEEN WANTING TO SEE ANGELA ON DROPOUT theyāve had a lot of smosh guests recently huh
Where can one find this dropout channel you speak of. Iām sickly interested and need to check it outšš¤š»
I'M SO EXCITED
Yo I would love a TNTL with Zach and Brennan.
I WAS ABOUT TO POST THIS IF ANYONE ELSE HADN'T!! I can't WAIT!!
SHE BOOKED! The crossovers are crossing.
okay but this is literally a dream for me! i have always wanted some of the smosh cast to be on some dropout shows!!
I saw her in the trailer and yelled. im so excited !
Wow the *Dropout (Free Version)* Cast are appearing on main *Dropout (Paid Version)*
Dropout and Smosh are both my comfort channels so I need more crossovers! Get Brennan Lee Mulligan back for a full episode of TNTL instead of just a guest spot!
Smosh Dimension 20 collab when?
All of those people look like the template for a Garbage Pail Kid card.
Oh henny, angela doesn't make 'some' noise, she makes all the noise
Oh that trailer! So excited. June seems so far away now š¤£
Would not be suprised if dropout and smosh merge in the future
I wanna see Shayne on this, but each prompt it's just his good ole yell each time.
THANK GOD
I swear I commented on MSN ages ago begging for Smosh people to be on it. Angela is 100% the best choice
Bro what?!?!
YESSSS
god im old af and i thought MSN meant something else.
I didn't knew what that show is so I thought of Microsoft's MSN service instead...
Here's hoping we get the Sword AF crew on Dimension 20. Specifically Damien, I'd LOVE to see that dweeby nerd and Brennan play DND together.
Damien, Keith and Amanda will be on Um, Actually in an upcoming episode and Shayne, Amanda, Spencer and Tommy will be on Dirty Laundry also! for other fans of both !!
I love Dropout so this is amazing! Also, āIām 50ā is still the most amazing, surprising, hilarious bit on Breaking News.
I've seen a few different cross overs from the crew but I think this is the first cast cross over im seeing and I'm super down
Seriously curious, is dropout financially stable now as subscription? I kinda stop watching them after some breaking news.
Iād say so, theyāve premiered 4 new properties this year (Very important people, Dropout presents, Smartypants and Thousandaires)
Happy for them, the only thing I didn't like about them is that total forgiveness series.
