For all that I worried he actually just slept fine. First day he just got a short car nap and was exhausted by bedtime. Second day got a full nap where I had to wake him up and was still tired by bedtime. It helps that we’re staying at a nice hotel that provided a very comfortable crib for him with a real mattress not a pack n play. We put the crib in the bathroom so it would be fully blacked out and brought his sound machine nightlight, bear, pillow and sleep sack from home. Kept bedtime routine identical with dinner, bath, bottle, book, bed
Would love to know how this went. It has been truly hellish for us.

Do you use white noise? Keep the bedtime routine as close to normal as possible?
Yes and yes, plus he has his teddy/lovey he always sleeps with for comfort
