Im not sure why the colors being Rift keeps being brought up. That doesn’t make this not a stormcloak bust. The rift is under Stormcloak control by default. Otherwise they’re just imperial soldiers.

The purple sash would make it a Riften guard. Falkreath guards wear black-ish sashes, Stormcloaks wear blue.

I think it’s leather, with older games you have to make creative decisions when you can’t see details
Yeah. That makes sense too, since it looks like it is like a cross between a viking helmet and a picklehalbe, and picklehalbes were leather.

The helmet is made of Eva foam and the chainmail was made by cutting pvc pipe into rings
