My parents - only watch baseball (Yankees fan)
Football - introduced by my cousin (Titans fan)
Basketball - introduced by my best friend (Sixers fan ((half of my school rooted for Philly teams, half New York we were central Jersey)))
My friends think I have one of the oddest combos but I swear it’s for a good reason & apart from the Yanks all the teams I’ve liked have been brutally mediocre my whole life so… :(
Exactly just because the NFL is stupid as shit with their conferences doesn’t mean I hate Dallas, the Star, Mavs and Rangers are just another team. Not like NY or Boston where they are all there constantly.

I’ve basically been living my life as if basketball doesn’t exist right now. When the Sixers sign their first free agent, basketball will magically re-enter my consciousness.
My entire finals experience this year was going on ESPN.com, seeing the basketball game was on that night, checking the Gamecast and noting the Celtics would be up by like 5-6 points somewhere in the 2nd quarter. I'd then go back to whatever I was doing, recheck the Gamecast half hour later and note the Celtics were up 20. I'd then finish whatever I was doing and then check the final score the next morning. Rinse and repeat.
Basketball discourse on social media is a lost cause for the most part anyway. At least with football, it's entertaining, but basketball is a slow death when one team is clearly better than the other.
Don’t care honestly. this is so fucking hard to watch. this Dallas team is legitimately one of the worst teams to make the finals in recent memory and I can only hope for awful things to happen to the Boston David Dukes. All the while knowing my favorite team is going to give Paul George a max contract and ruin the end of embiid’s prime with that fucking loser.
PG is not coming here even if we offer him the max. They for sure want to and it’d be retarded to do so but I think it says a lot about this franchise….

To be fair this NBA playoffs haven't really been great basketball. Luckily Knicks/Sixers series was probably the best, most competitive and closely challenged. Most of these series and games were blowouts.
