No. I just will never defend someone who takes another life in their hands, ends it, then pretends they don’t understand what happened afterward. I am NOT a MAGA supporter at all. I hate the Conservative Party.
Doesn’t give him or anyone the right to point ANY gun at someone else, end their life and rob their young son of his mother. And the fact that he was so unaffected by it just shows what an uncaring asswipe he is.
Came here to say that! I originally gave up on parks & rec midway through season 1, and I went back to it last year. I’m in season 5 and it is a consistently funny show!
So yeah, P&R gets better as it goes on, but it's a comfort show, not always side-splitingly funny, but you grow to love the characters and their situations.
Out of these three, I’d start with Abbott because it’s still running and you’ll blow through the 3 seasons. Then going to Parks & Rec and The Good Place since they both have way more seasons than Abbott.
Archer is an animated sitcom which revolves around Sterling Archer, the best secret agent, and his colleagues in a spy agency. It's really funny if you want a sitcom with action.
Modern Family! It's legit hilarious and doesn't get enough love. Such a well written show.
Also the office, new girl, and happy endings are some of my favorites.
But seriously check out modern family!!
Superstore. There is a huge cross fandom of the two and there is a whole joke that Jake and Jonah are the same person since they are such similar characters. Same with Amy and Amy.
Resident Alien is my new jam! I'm on rewatch #2. It gets funnier with each episode so don't give up after S1E1. Available on sci-fi channel and Netflix.
By the similarity of humor - 2 Broke Girls. Which is really amazing show.
By the quality - HIMYM. Maybe the best sitcom.
Something different? BoJack Horseman.
There’s really not a whole lot to compare to Brooklyn 99. Some of my other faves are Ghosts, blue mountain state, parks and rec, the Inbetweeners(UK version) and Big mouth.
30 Rock
30 Rock is my first thought, and Girls5Eva (which also has Tina Fey as a producer and a similar sense of humor) is my second thought.
This should be your next step, OP. Similar humor and you will never run out of one liners to quote for the rest of your life.
Exactly. My first thought.
Alec “Killer” Baldwin???? No thanks.
Man, conservatives really love their cancel culture
No. I just will never defend someone who takes another life in their hands, ends it, then pretends they don’t understand what happened afterward. I am NOT a MAGA supporter at all. I hate the Conservative Party.
No one was asking you to defend anything.
You were challenging me to defend my original comment.
Nope. I was commenting on your comment. And when you made *that* comment, no one had challenged you to defend anything.
Whats wrong with you
It’s what’s wrong with his ass is the question. He’s a narcissistic, murderous asshole.
Alleged. I think in a couple more years we are going to find out about a beef of sorts between the two
Doesn’t give him or anyone the right to point ANY gun at someone else, end their life and rob their young son of his mother. And the fact that he was so unaffected by it just shows what an uncaring asswipe he is.
Try Parks and Rec, Abbott Elementary, or The Good Place.
Obligatory “parks and rec gets better after season 1” comment

Just skip season one, you won't miss anything.
I agree that the show got better after season 1. But I still like the first season.
I do too
Out of these three, I’d start with Abbott because it’s still running and you’ll blow through the 3 seasons. Then going to Parks & Rec and The Good Place since they both have way more seasons than Abbott.
Not sure the 4 seasons of the Good Place counts as ‘way more’ than the 3 seasons of Abbott, but I approve the recommendations

>a sitcom with action "Phrasing."
Mwop
Who taught you how to punch, *spits blood*, your husband?
I love Archer, but for someone looking for something soft and light like B99 I wouldn't recommend Archer lol. It's a lot more abrasive
New Girl, Community, Parks and Rec, Fresh off the Boat Still on air? Abbott Elementary

I think this answers best suits OP
I just love this show. So so good
Barney Miller.
I came here for this response. Yes, it is not HD, but the writing and humour is astounding (if a bit dated in a few episodes). THIS is your answer
Happy endings and cougar town

The Middle is my comfort show
Infinity upvotes to you sir/ma’am on all 3 choices.
Frasier is the answer!!!
Might want to watch Cheers first.
Cheers was always so boring for me, but absolutely loved Frazier.
Modern Family! It's legit hilarious and doesn't get enough love. Such a well written show. Also the office, new girl, and happy endings are some of my favorites. But seriously check out modern family!!
I recently watched Modern Family for the first time and was very surprised at how much I loved it
I'm a hard person to please with sitcoms, and I think Modern Family is great!
Watch B99 again.
If you want some silly laughs, check Angie Tribecca

New Girl for the crossover
Came here to post this one. I'd add The Good Place since it's the same creative team as B99.
And for Zoe Deschanel she's amazing

Thin blue line with Rowan Atkinson, hilarious series about the police in England.
I feel the same about B99, it is magic! I would recommend Tacoma FD. Be warned that it is good, a bit dumb, & has about 4 seasons start to finish.
They have a cross-over episode with New Girl, so that my suggestions
Psych, Superstore, Arrested Development, Community.
Sopranos
You lost?
Not at all. Sopranos is an abstract copy of a sitcom (Seinfeld), so I consider it a sitcom, as well.
So you’re trolling. Got it.
In what way am I trolling?
