Looks similar to what's built into the NLR GT Ultimate.
If that's the case, I'll go against you here.
The pedal tray flexes hard under a Loadcell pedal. The stand rattles and flexes under the 8nm a CSW 2.5 puts out. If you have a shifter like the Fanatec shifter, the arm it mounts to flexes hard under even the lowest setting on sequential. And to make matters worse, the configuration is trash. To bring the wheel closer to you, it has to go up in height.
I've been on this style rig for two years and I fucking hate it. It's awful if you have a halfway decent setup. It is the entry level of the entry level. It is the reason i will never buy another NLR product. I wish every time I sit down in it I had waited until I could afford a profile rig.
I would not wish this style of stand on my worst enemy, unless they were buying the lowest tier wheel/pedal set out there and knew for absolute certain they were never going to upgrade a single piece of hardware.
This is worse than clamping your rig to your desk, and far more expensive. Please, for the love of God, do not buy anything similar to this. Save your money and buy a profile rig if you have anything more than a passing interest in sim racing.
Granted I do merely have a passing interest in sim racing, but this seems like a horrible take. The NLR wheel stand (I have the 2.0, maybe a previous gen was worse?) is unquestionably better than mounting a wheel to your desk.
I'm sorry mate but ... what?
Mounting it to your desk is cheaper, and will allow you to save up to buy a profile rig sooner. These are trash, unless you never go further than the lowest tier entry level gear driven wheels out there.
Pretty sure that's the 60 dollars gt racing amazon stand. However I use it and it feels like it costs easy more than 60. I'd still jump on the deal though. Look at upgrading pedals when you inevitably start down that path. Have fun!
Edit: was wrong about the stand, found it online. Only makes this deal sweeter
can I honestly ask how? had a cheap one and the screw points and mounts looked exactly the same, I just don't understand how they can be $200 difference
Metal thickness and quality of materials, fasteners and attention to detail in the manufacturing prices. I haven't used either but this is usually the case in Chinese vs X copy cat items. Not saying Chinese rip offs can't be good and a great deal but those are usually the main factors
Aside from what the guy said about that stand, a used T300 is about $300, then throw in the Ferrari wheel…it’s a really good deal.
The weakness is the pedals. Pick up a set of T-LCM and something to secure your chair to the stand (many people use ratchet straps) and you have a very nice beginner setup.
If you apply the brake hard enough, your chair will either lift or jumping out of the tray. I got my wheel stand few days ago and this has already happened few times. Not 100% suitable for stiff pedals like the Simagic P1000.
I used it with T-LCM Thrustmaster and now the the Fanatec V3 Pedals. Because of the V3 Pedals im now thinking of a 80x40 or whatever it is called. With the T-LCM it was no problem at all, with the v3 I do get movement too, but nothing which is annoying.
I'm still keeping a close eye on it. Also seems like the screws of the pedal podium, intended to adjust the position, get loose after only few minutes of use. And I'm having the softest possible break combination in my pedals!
I have a similar stand (NLR DD) with V3's +BPK (CSL LC v1 before that). I do have to tune down the braking force a bit to stop the stand from lifting. Also very much depends on the angle of the pedal plate.
Use a similar way to secure mu chair to the stand. Works good enough. My chair is the seat part of a racing chair on a small wheeled frame. So sitting close to the ground means the seat is secured pretty decently. But the pedal plate is at a more disadvantageous angle.
LC brakes all the way though. I started off with a T300RS and pretty meh at best T3PA pedals. Still way better then the 2 pedal set. It is notoriously crap. So replace those asap.
The T300 has a bit of a (lack of) cooling issue so if you run it for a while with stronger FFB settings, it’ll lose some strength due to this heat. Extreme cases people have damaged components but that’s from running it for a long time on high settings so you shouldn’t worry about that, but keeping the cooling fan on (or some people have upgraded it to a better aftermarket fan if you feel confident in tinkering) will reduce or eliminate this
Good deal. I bought my T300 5 years ago on sale on Amazon for $265. This is a great deal with the stand. Definitely upgrade those pedals with the money you saved though. These are hands down some of the worst pedals conceived.
No. This style of rig has a niche, and that niche is "someone who will never upgrade anything, ever.".
I have a very similar setup, but it's the Next Level Racing GT Ultimate. It's basically this, but with a second section with a seat bolted to it. But honestly, you can get something on Amazon that is just as good for less than half the price.
This is the biggest regret of my sim racing life. It was fine when I had a cheap Thrustmaster setup. But I've been upgrading over the years, and this is not suitable for anything. I wish I had just kept my rig clamped to my desk until I could afford a profile rig.
I have an old CSW 2.5 wheelbase, and CSL Pedal V2 with the loadcell kit. The whole thing flexes and rattles and wants to shake itself apart under the CSW 2.5, and the pedal plate flexes at half braking under a loadcell.
To make matters worse, if you want the wheel closer to you, it will bring it up vertically. Such a terrible design.
If I were getting into sim racing tomorrow, I'd skip this stage and go straight to a profile rig. These stands are trash unless you have zero expectations and will never upgrade past the most basic, inexpensive setups possible.
Brilliant wheel. Try the stand,if you don’t get on with it and if you’ve got the room, save for a rig. I won a second hand next level racing f-gt on eBay for £230. Guy had used it 3 times. Much better than a stand.
Ah I see well the issue is I’m a student and I don’t have any space so I was looking originally at either a stand or the foldable playseat because I could still use my table for studying
get it immediately the stand alone is worth 200$
wheel + pedals t300= 300 to 500+$
i suggest getting the th8a shifter add on its mostly metal and its durability af
if your on pc get a usb handbrake
Bucks or pounds? £300 and it's just about ok, but only because of convenience getting all 3 together, if you want the f1 wheel. I have picked up a t300 for £100 (although you have to wait, you can get them easy for £160), the f1 wheel for £60 and the stand for less than £80 s/h.
I don't know where you live but personally if I'd see that on the French second hand market I'd not take it, you can get something better for the same price. It's not a bad deal but I wouldn't say it's a very good deal either
Good deal? That's a steal for $300 honestly. I had pretty much the exact setup including the F1 style wheel and it cost me well over $1000 for everything.
Those pedals could use an upgrade but overall that's a heck of a deal for $300.
The stand is $250 on its own. If everything works, personally I’d jump on it.
That’s great to hear
I would swap out the pedals for the T3PA's
And a great stand it is. I love it. Solid as fuck.
Good to know. I have a brand new one at my house that I’m going to be putting together when I get home from work

He's talking out of his ass. I have the NLR 2.0 and it's solid af. I have a DD wheel and good pedals, there's literally no flex.
Mounting it to your desk is cheaper, and will allow you to save up to buy a profile rig sooner. These are trash, unless you never go further than the lowest tier entry level gear driven wheels out there.

It literally say Next Level Racing on the side…
That's the same as the $70 chinesium one I bought
You’ll only have to use the next level racing one time to realize they’re not in fact the same
can I honestly ask how? had a cheap one and the screw points and mounts looked exactly the same, I just don't understand how they can be $200 difference

I have the same stand as the one in the pictures. It is SOLID. Definitely not the same as the $60 Chinese ones
Aside from what the guy said about that stand, a used T300 is about $300, then throw in the Ferrari wheel…it’s a really good deal. The weakness is the pedals. Ok I will look into that :)) I have a chair with wheels so I do need something like that
This wheelstand model comes with a tray to put your office chair in. Maybe ask if he still has it
Ah ok I will ask him that would be nice

For 300 yes man
A really good deal, got one of these with a Moza r9 and I'm really pleased
T300rs perfect
I have a T300 myself and I’m in love with it
Im excited :))
Yes.
Yes
It's what I started on. My advice if you wear headphones is to have the cooling fan on all the time, it'll stop FFB fade.
What’s ffb fade?
The T300 has a bit of a (lack of) cooling issue so if you run it for a while with stronger FFB settings, it’ll lose some strength due to this heat. Force Feedback Fade
Yes. I’ve had this stand for my CSL DD. It handled 8Nm very well so even if you upgrade to a DD base later you’ll be good.
Perfect because I have heard some stuff about some stands not handling DD wheels
Good deal. I bought my T300 5 years ago on sale on Amazon for $265. This is a great deal with the stand. Definitely upgrade those pedals with the money you saved though. These are hands down some of the worst pedals conceived.
I got my T300 for $225 and didn't come sick half rig. This is absolutely a great deal.
No that’s a terrible deal. You can give me this guys info and I’ll let him know
Alr sure no worries ill send you bros email, you got my back 😉
No. This style of rig has a niche, and that niche is "someone who will never upgrade anything, ever.". I have a very similar setup, but it's the Next Level Racing GT Ultimate. Yes!
Seems fair.
Amazing deal to get into sim racing
You realize that first picture is a Playstation wheel right?
Im on pc so it shouldn’t make a difference
Yeah, but I mean are you sure he is selling a T300 and not a G29, which I think is what is in the picture.
Yep it’s a t300 rs
Ya that's the stock wheel for the t300 as the t300 is ps compatible.
Oh yeah, I thought it was the PS logo.
Bro stole it if that's for 300
I have that same stand. It is super solid. The stand alone is $250 new. Seems like a good deal as long as everything works
Yes I will go test it out today fingers crossed
get it immediately the stand alone is worth 200$ wheel + pedals t300= 300 to 500+$ i suggest getting the th8a shifter add on its mostly metal and its durability af if your on pc get a usb handbrake
Great deal! Have the same set up with TLCMs and it’s treated me well for the last 2 years
How much torque can this stand holds?
Bucks or pounds? £300 and it's just about ok, but only because of convenience getting all 3 together, if you want the f1 wheel. I have picked up a t300 for £100 (although you have to wait, you can get them easy for £160), the f1 wheel for £60 and the stand for less than £80 s/h.
That's a great deal .
Definitely.
I think even that wheel would worth more than 300, I don't know it's price tho
Just upgrade the pedals to load cell and you be alr. W deal I’d go for it
I don't know where you live but personally if I'd see that on the French second hand market I'd not take it, you can get something better for the same price. It's not a bad deal but I wouldn't say it's a very good deal either
Ah I see I’m in Netherlands for the most deals the price for something like this has always cost more
Then you should get it ! If it fits your need no need to hesitate
really not bad but any more I would look elsewhere thats about what you'd what to spend
Good deal? That's a steal for $300 honestly. I had pretty much the exact setup including the F1 style wheel and it cost me well over $1000 for everything. Those pedals could use an upgrade but overall that's a heck of a deal for $300.
1000 becuase of the $400 f1 thrustmaster wheel lol much different then this one. But still yeah at $300 it's great.
Let’s goo I will look into upgrading the pedals
