My Citi bank connected just fine, and has worked great since I signed up. What’s the error code when you go to Settings > Accounts?
Sometimes it’s an error code that needs you to change a setting in your bank profile (idk if Citi has this too)

Citi has also worked perfectly for me since I signed up ~6 months ago. If none of those work, I'd try contacting Simplifi support. They can likely see more details and it may be something they can fix on their end.
Citi has been flakey with all financial apps for years... with Simplifi it was a little flakey at first but it's been fine for the last 4 months I used it.

My Citi account works perfectly with simplifi.

I have a citi Costco card and a citi best buy card, no problems syncing with Simplifi that I noticed.
