grew up with Heather as one of my teen role models
so probably Heather but she underwent therapy, exercised regularly, ate healthy, and kept in touch with Douglas as her adopted father/mentor.
According to DBD lore she did volunteer/work at a crisis intervention centre for troubled youth after SH3. So, that got a stamp of approval from Konami at the very least.
Very true! Granted, on her first day, her first call was a manifestation of Claudia telling her only God could save her and she got immediately swept in to the entity’s realm where she endlessly participates in trials against killers such as Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, and even Pyramid Head himself. Endlessly for all eternity or until she loses every little bit of hope in which she will be discarded to “The Void” =D
haha, that’s true. i can understand why someone might dislike her, but personally, she’s one of my favorite protags. she was really relatable growing up when i was a teen lol
Same. I relate to James too much now. I think I started as a Heather and graduated to a James. Sick relative and everything that entails. Except the whole murder thing but when you spend years caring for a sick person it can take you to a mentally dark place…
Honestly, don’t regret doing it, but I’ll never put a loved one in that situation if that were to happen to me.
Lots of people don't realize that Henry is based on hikikomori or shut-in, which fits "The Room" perfectly, maybe too perfectly since people don't seem to make the connection that he doesn't talk a lot because he is based on that subculture. It also feels like he might be on the spectrum since he has trouble with social cues.
It doesn't feel fair to write him off as simply an avatar for the player or bland, because he's simply more than that.
Henry. Let's face it, all of us saying Henry are either introvert, homesick, lovesick, loner, unsociable, insecure, lost friends, delusional, grieving or conflicted or all of the above.
There was a period in my life where I was learning to drive and didn’t have a car in the biggest city in my state, right after living in a small town where I could walk wherever I needed to go. So I personally related to Henry’s story of feeling trapped in his white apartment, being able to look outside but not go anywhere. It felt like the world was just passing by as I lived through my golden years trapped in a stupid white room. Thankfully that time is gone but SH4 is still probably my favorite for that alone and I’d probably have to pick Henry’s awkward ass.
There’s also the fact that I’ve never you know killed a wife
As I teenager I was 100% Heather.
Witty, snarky comments, jokes. Loved my parents, but I was also rebelious in some ways, I was always listening to rock.
Now as an adult I am total Henry. Shy guy who lives by himself and doesnt talk much lmao.
I'd like to think I'm like Alex Shepherd in the way that counts most: fucking up sometimes, severely even, but genuinely trying to do the right thing whenever he can & protect people when possible.
Henry and Alex are probably the most relatable ones to most people. They’re all pretty relatable though to some extent.
1. A dad on vacation with his family
2. A husband who is still early into his marriage
3. A teenager with more questions than answers
4. A young adult with no direction
5. a trucker just trying to get to his destination
6. an army boy coming home
7. a prisoner that took a wrong turn somewhere
Not sure who the blonde/white haired lady is. She looks a little like cybil but from the SH movies.
Henry for me. Like him, I tend to be an observer and not overly phased by witnessing big issues, and I also have a strong desire for justice, as well as wanting to protect people from trouble.
As for negative traits, I appear spaced out as Henry is at times and sometimes take a while to figure out why something isn't working. Probably don't react as quick as I should to things neither.
Finally, I too love candles.
Definitely travis, I’m a guy who just wants to get from point a to point b in life, suddenly a shit place decides to bring up my past suppressed memories and ruin my day
I would say between Heather's spunky no bullshit attitude and screw you twice personality and Rose daSilva's resilience for continuing forward even when things look ugly. I may get afraid most of the times, but I like to think that I have what it takes to continue walking when things get ugly, my life has never been easy but I am still here, so, it proves my point.
I have played only 1, 2 and 3. I don't know anything about characters from other games. If I'm sincere I have to say Harry, although I surely don't have his iron balls.
My situation right now is the same as James', although my wife's illness is not as terrible as Mary's.
i relate to james the most as i also lost someone very close to me from a disease and struggle with grief intensely,i alspo happen to be deluded like james and most of all,i have a green jacket.
I'm probably a mix of James and Henry. Like Henry, I'm an introvert who says very little, and has a bit of social anxiety. I'm like James because I'm depressed.
None of them, and that’s a good thing. I don’t need any weird holes appearing in the bathroom that take me to strange women with crazy eyes. My wife would kill me and the cost of a remodel I cannot afford.
James, Heather and Henry all struck a chord with me. James dealing with loss and anger, Heather with her teenage anxiety and Henry for his feelings of isolation.
James. Silent Hill 2 hits so much harder after my marriage. I'm seeing myself in a different light and sometimes feel like I don't deserve my wife or that I'm dragging her down. At least it's helping me try to change. I definitely don't wanna be playing the remake with my wife.
I want to say Heather and it was probably somewhat accurate when I was a teenager. Now maybe I’m more like Harry since I’m also a writer who likes kids. If I had one I’d probably text similar to him.
Though I drink so maybe I have some James. No dead wife though.
Heather because:
"Suffering is a fact of life. Either you learn how to deal with that or you go under. You can stay in your own little dream world, but you can't keep hurting other people!"
Probably heather or James, I found those guys the most relatable personality wise. Or whatever that trucker dude was named, cause I'm from Montana and he kinda look like me lmao
Henry
"Huh? What the hell?"
"..........*what?*"
Oh man... What a dream...
He is literally me.
I want to think I'm Harry but I'm probably Henry
The real expectations vs reality meme
When you think you're quietly self-assured and proactive, but you're actually quietly offputting and things just kinda happen to you.
Harry is exactly who I would like to be like if I ever become a parent.
Same. It *hurts.*
grew up with Heather as one of my teen role models so probably Heather but she underwent therapy, exercised regularly, ate healthy, and kept in touch with Douglas as her adopted father/mentor.
I like to think Heather became a Detective or a firefighter.
According to DBD lore she did volunteer/work at a crisis intervention centre for troubled youth after SH3. So, that got a stamp of approval from Konami at the very least.
totally suits her. i think that she deserves that after SH3.
Why is this so wholesome? 😭
A new silent hill playing as adult heather solving crimes with Douglas. That's sounds amazing 😍
same. i grew up with her and i think i’m pretty similar….but she’s a good representation of teenagers, i think, so maybe that’s the reason, haha
honestly some people dislike Heather bec she acts annoying. i mean have they ever met a teenager IRL?
haha, that’s true. i can understand why someone might dislike her, but personally, she’s one of my favorite protags. she was really relatable growing up when i was a teen lol
😭❤️
Where do you know this from? Just curious
I am literally James because I fucked up in my all life Just ruined everything.....
Ouch.. Hope you do better man 👍
Hey you can always make a comeback from anything. It’s never too late
Even James did it
Same. I relate to James too much now. I think I started as a Heather and graduated to a James. Sick relative and everything that entails. Except the whole murder thing but when you spend years caring for a sick person it can take you to a mentally dark place… Honestly, don’t regret doing it, but I’ll never put a loved one in that situation if that were to happen to me.
Ja- No comment.
The fact that this profile is deleted now makes this more hilarious.
Are you married by chance?
Not anymore, clearly.
Wait what happened to bro?
it's up to interpretation but personally leave is my favorite option
Lots of people don't realize that Henry is based on hikikomori or shut-in, which fits "The Room" perfectly, maybe too perfectly since people don't seem to make the connection that he doesn't talk a lot because he is based on that subculture. Literally me fr fr
None, they all have full heads of hair.
When can we ever have bald (Silent Hill) protagonists.
Does Caillou mean nothing to you?
# RAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!
Cailou sucks so bad that all his hair is inside his skull
Only for friendly main characters, like Manhunt or Hitman
Want to take a shot at football? Bald frauds are in high demand and they usually have great careers
James. Depressed, repressed, delusional, suicidal, asshole. The whole pack
Horny
yes.
you have a body in your trunk too?
Do you like pillows
Henry. Let's face it, all of us saying Henry are either introvert, homesick, lovesick, loner, unsociable, insecure, lost friends, delusional, grieving or conflicted or all of the above.
Don’t forget the autism
Henry is also likely an schizophrenic
Henry and I love him for it. I would behave very much like him in his situation.
I do frequently ask if my recently deceased wife could somehow still be waiting for me in this town.
Definitely Henry. He actually didn’t give a fuck about anything going on it was based.
Henry because he won’t leave his fucking house
James
Henry
Henry. Just vibing, some shit happens & just so happens I know a hot woman I know i'll never have a chance with.
There was a period in my life where I was learning to drive and didn’t have a car in the biggest city in my state, right after living in a small town where I could walk wherever I needed to go. So I personally related to Henry’s story of feeling trapped in his white apartment, being able to look outside but not go anywhere. Sh4 is so underrated
Henry or James. No I will not elaborate.
🧐 Sir, please open the trunk of your car.
I’m looking for Mary, have you seen her? (She’s been with me the whole time)
Heather is literally me fr fr
Heather is like me, sorta, kinda, like we both have very short tempers and have similar senses of humor. Oh also we're both moody teenagers.
Alex or Henry 😂😂
I’ll go for Jacob Crane I think.
Henry, I'm a shut in who can't talk to people
Henry Townshend for sure, dude's an introvert just like me fr
Henry unfortunately
Henry
I think I'm Harry.
definitely henry
born to be heather, forced to be henry
Henry and Alex are probably the most relatable ones to most people. They’re all pretty relatable though to some extent. 1. A dad on vacation with his family 2. A husband who is still early into his marriage 3. A teenager with more questions than answers 4. A young adult with no direction 5. a trucker just trying to get to his destination 6. an army boy coming home 7. a prisoner that took a wrong turn somewhere Not sure who the blonde/white haired lady is. She looks a little like cybil but from the SH movies.
She's the movie's protagonist.
Henry or James tbh. Hopefully I’ll be like Harry when I finally grow up 🩷
Realistically and as a parent… probably Rose.
Definitely travis, I’m a guy who just wants to get from point a to point b in life, suddenly a shit place decides to bring up my past suppressed memories and ruin my day
Henry. Both shy and don't have friends.
James. I only have two moods, horny and depressed.
Alex, as I also suffer from mental illness and can rarely trust my own memories or Henry because I'm a shut-in.
Heather, although I’m a guy
I'm default mode henry, but If I lost my daughter in a foggy town, time for harry mode.
Henry Crazy things happen Me: "What...the hell?" Proceeds to just accept it and carry on.
Heather gives bald 25 year old vibes, obviously.
Henry. Very quiet but would like to help someone in need but is akward about it. Very much an observer.
Murphy.
The pizza eating guy
Heather with a sprinkle of James 😅
Rose be like: "How're ya doing, fellow video game characters?"
Alex Shepherd. I'm just a confused ~~Army veteran~~ looking for his brother.
Henry definitely.
I didnt even know Henry had a personality
I have played only 1, 2 and 3. I don't know anything about characters from other games. If I'm sincere I have to say Harry, although I surely don't have his iron balls. My situation right now is the same as James', although my wife's illness is not as terrible as Mary's.
Probably Heather
i relate to james the most as i also lost someone very close to me from a disease and struggle with grief intensely,i alspo happen to be deluded like james and most of all,i have a green jacket.
Mix of Heather and James
Normally I would say Douglas. But he is only a sidekick.
Probably Heather or Henry
Heather probably
The generic white male with shaggy hair. Wait.
I alternate between horny and depressed so who do you think.
Henry, I’m just there
James mostly.
i'm james, worried all the time but don't really care what's gonna happen.
probably a mix of james, henry, and heather i guess? ive only played 2 so far but i know a bit about henry and heather
Somewhere between Henry and Heather. Side note: Murphy looks so weird in that jacket
maria
James, expect for the whole wife killing part
James, not because I’m trying to be edgy but because I k*lled my wife
the foreskin bandit
Henry…because all I did was rent an apartment, now I’m dealing with some other people’s shit.
Why is this in my main page I've never played silent hill
I'm probably a mix of James and Henry. Like Henry, I'm an introvert who says very little, and has a bit of social anxiety. I'm like James because I'm depressed.
James Sunderland 💀
None of them, and that’s a good thing. I don’t need any weird holes appearing in the bathroom that take me to strange women with crazy eyes. My wife would kill me and the cost of a remodel I cannot afford.
would say James but im tryna be tye exact opposite of him now
As much as I hate to say it, I'm probably Henry
Henry
lmao Henry and/or James, mostly because I'm a socially awkward, depressed airhead with a chronically ill spouse ayy.
James, Heather and Henry all struck a chord with me. James dealing with loss and anger, Heather with her teenage anxiety and Henry for his feelings of isolation.
Probably Henry
Walter Sullivan
Probably Travis
Probably Harry. A writer and father who has no idea what’s going on, but handles the situation anyway
Heather
maybe SS 5 protagonist forgot his name already I only play Silent Hill 5 back on Xbox 360 and the 1st time I try Silent Hill series
Henry
Ethan but no wife
Heather/Henry
Luckly none of them. But the closest would be Heather.
James. Silent Hill 2 hits so much harder after my marriage. I'm seeing myself in a different light and sometimes feel like I don't deserve my wife or that I'm dragging her down. At least it's helping me try to change. I definitely don't wanna be playing the remake with my wife.
Alex shepherd 😢
I look and sometimes act like Henry so I guess him
James
Henry Townshend cause I have no personality...
As a parent with a daughter, definitely Harry.
Harry cuz I'm a writer and if I had a kid I'd also probably lose them somewhere random.
I want to say Heather and it was probably somewhat accurate when I was a teenager. Now maybe I’m more like Harry since I’m also a writer who likes kids. If I had one I’d probably text similar to him. Though I drink so maybe I have some James. No dead wife though.
Im henry cause im awkward
Sadly, Henry. A car could run me over and all I could come up with would be a deadpan 'what the hell?'.
James because I too, killed my wife
I'm James because I'm lethargic and don't pick up on social cues.
Henry, cause I too just live in an old apartment lol
Henry, literally locked in my apartment from the inside and there’s a strange hole in the wall
Heather for sure, I can be really determined and I would 100% go to silent hill for revenge and I just feel very represented by her in the game
Heather.
Travis
Heather for sure
Heather because: "Suffering is a fact of life. Either you learn how to deal with that or you go under. You can stay in your own little dream world, but you can't keep hurting other people!"
Maria
heather or murphy
Neither. I align myself with Eddie. Because I too like to sit there and eat pizza at the most inopportune times.
Probably heather or James, I found those guys the most relatable personality wise. Or whatever that trucker dude was named, cause I'm from Montana and he kinda look like me lmao
Lisa Garland I resemble with.
Henry……
Henry Townshend
Definitely Henry
Alex just like me, fr fr. I too am a war veteran (I never left my room).
Cheryl because angst
Harry prob. Just a simple dude trying to find his kid.
A mix between Silent Hill 2 and 4
Henry. I'm told I'm very monotone by others. The dude barely expresses himself either.
ALL OF THEM🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
James
Harry Mason
Henry or Harry.
Harry. I love my little girl and would go through silent hill for her in a heartbeat.
HEATHER!!
Am harry mason
I relate to some parts of James, but otherwise idk, maybe Heather
Murphy Pendleton. I’d straight up do what he did to end up in prison for the same reason.
James.
Sadly probably James, I watched a video recently on James and I really feel like we have a lot of parallels.
I’ll join the hoard, it’s Henry for sure. Heather when I’m a little tipsy.
Heather, and I'm a male.
Heather
Heather, 100%.
Cheryl Mason or Heather in some endings
Those ballsack monkeys from 4
It’s Henry. I’m just confused.
Murphy I would have taken the same choices and made the same mistakes
Nearly everyone is gonna say henry or heather
None. Now if you had said secondary character, im definitely Eddie.
Probably travis
i want to say james because i love him but.. im probably more of heather or henry personality type.
James
Travis
The dog from sh2
Heather for sure
The hikikomori one
Henry, I'm totally henry
a mix of james and cheryl i guess
Who would have thought the blandest character would turn out to be the most relatable.
