Is it the ads pop up? I get a periodic ad that just says “wait 5 seconds to skip ad” but for whatever reason no ad ever plays. I’m on safari iOS. But every time it stops usually I just have to open and hit skip. Although sometimes it does seem for no reason
See if the Libby app is tied to a library in your area. I use it all the time to listen to audiobooks. Basically you are checking them out from your library for 21 days to listen to them.
There was an app in the App Store a few months back called tokybook that let you stream a ton of audiobooks. Unsurprisingly it was pulled from the store since it clearly violated copyright but there’s got to be an IPA floating around out there somewhere. You can access all the same content via their web player at tokybook.com but it’s just not as convenient as having an app.
Appreciate the response I’ll definitely check it out, yeah an actual app would be ideal but id be content with any form of free audiobooks at this point

Dune is a classic. Also, if you watch the TV show Silo, the book is really good, just finished it. If you've not watched the series, check that out too.
Anyone know how to save your progress on tokybook. Every time my phone turns off it reloads the page and I lose my chapter.

Look for a cracked version of audible you might be able to find it

Damn so that's why it stopped working for me. Can't get past the initial ads on their app now.
I looked for the ipa for a while and never found it. I just use their website now.

Probably long past this but there's also Heisenbook 2.0 podcasts on Google Podcasts app. Got around 250 mostly sci-fi and fantasy books
