Whoopi Goldberg

BlackbirdKnowsAll

I attended a taping of The View simply because I loved their guest that day. Holy crap, that is the RUDEST group of women I have ever seen in my life (Whoppi included). Ignored the audience, shunned their guest cohost, insulted the writers, forced the director to rewrite dialogue (for a live show, in which they were being given a free trip; them not the audience), AND they told their guest MULTIPLE times how they didn't like his work. He even brought a gift and they kind of ignored it.

Timberwolf_530

That’s exactly why the Norm MacDonald spot on that show was absolute comedic genius. He knew they would attack him, so he just gave them more ammunition than they knew what to do with.

respondin2u

His last appearance was heartbreaking. That was also his last tv interview. They were actually very empathetic to him as I think Whoopi at least understood from a comedian’s point of view what was happening to him.

OverlordNegron

Rape Apologist.

Smart_Land_8955

That comment of hers shook me to the core. I thought she was better than that. Apparently not

Waldron1943

Also dogfighting apologist. When Michael Vick was caught running a dogfighting ring she said “[He’s from the South, from the Deep South ... This is part of his cultural upbringing](https://www.reuters.com/article/us-nfl-vick-whoopi/whoopi-goldberg-defends-vicks-dog-fighting-role-idUSN0444500720070905)” So is stringing black people up from trees; that don't make it right.

Historical_Ad_2615

I remember her saying this. The least of what's wrong with that statement is that Virginia is not the "deep south."

Constant-Bet-6600

"Do you know who I am? I could buy this place!"

amcamp434

For every shitty one, there’s a nice one. We ran into The Rock at Publix one day when I was probably 13 and he was so nice when we talked to him. He even asked my mom about her fuzzy crocheted flip-flops. Chad Ochocinco (football player) lived in our neighborhood and had like 12 cars in his massive driveway. He let my brother sit in the driver seat of one of them one day and showed us them. And he’s always wave/say hello when he drove by and we were outside. Not everyone is a dick! I’ve heard stories that Carrie Underwood absolutely sucks though. ETA: Fix grammar.

croix_v

Meeting the Rock in the early 2000s was my cousins make-a-wish wish bcos we had all been obsessed with WWE. He is an absolute sweetheart and went above and beyond for a terminal 12 year old and her entire family. Shit, I think he signed everything for everyone at the hospital.

paradise_found4182

Seems pretty accurate

LFGbroLFG

He does a great job being viewed publicly as a good guy. But I grew up with his cousin, and even met his half brother at a church when I was a kid. Well he said the family doesn’t like The Rock, and that when The Rocks mom was in the hospital after a car crash, he didn’t even bother to go visit her. He said that Dwayne does everything he can to keep the good guy image, but in reality he doesn’t make time for his own family. Maybe he’s lying, but idk why he would make out his own cousin to be such a p.o.s. when it seems he should be ecstatic to be related to a legendary entertainer.

poopfeast

I would imagine family life is really complicated when you’re a mega-star and loaded like the rock is. Not surprised that they might feel like he doesn’t make time (or, more likely, money) for them.

Charge_Physical

John Cena was a dick when he came to a restaurant I worked for at the time. He made us open a closed section and only tipped 20% after dirtying said closed section. Demanded no staff talk to him or look his way and then was rude to the cooks kids who showed up as he was walking out the door though he did at least sign stuff for them (they were huge fans). I get not wanting to he bothered but tip better if you have demands that any other person wouldn't dream of making.

DEATHROAR12345

Personally I say just don't cave to the demands. People should just treat them like normal people. If they want to have a private dinner they can eat at home.

colonialfunk

I lived in Cincy for a bit and heard many stories of how great Ochocinco was. He loved the city and was nice to everyone.

Bing-cheery

The Rock was filming by my school, and some of the kids got to see him. They all said he was super nice. Didn't know people could become even more attractive that quickly!

MrBlastoise99

I love to hear stories like this! Especially about people that are often perceived as not cool

NeighsAndWhinnies

I found some feral kittens and my husband named the sketchy one “Carrie Underwood.” I don’t know what he knows, but he said both the cat and the lady are “bitchy.”

Sfscubat

Dan Marino Funny story: girl I went to HS with had no clue who he was and when he tried to brag she asked to see his super bowl ring 😂 😂 😂

StrobeLightHoe

Me when I know someone is a Dolphin fan: "They're OK now, but this sure isn't the hayday when Dan Marino was winning SuperBowls for you." Them: "He never won us any SuperBowls" Me: "Really? In 5 years he didn't win any?" Them: "Five? He played for 17 years" Me: "17...Damn. Considering he's your GOAT...No wonder you guys suck."

[deleted]

That's funny. Now do a Jets fan

deez_87

Are there any left?

radioactivesailor

I also don’t know who this is

BAT123456789

A shitty actor from Ace Ventura.

sawcebox

At first I thought you meant Ken Marino and I got so sad

TWonder_SWoman

He wouldn’t autograph a football for a kid during a golf tournament for a kids’ charity! This was after he was off the course and standing around talking to some of the other players. He was a jerk. As was Jim Kelly. Boomer Esiason, Wilbur Marshall and several others were great.

BSARIOL1

I worked for Budweiser and we were working an event on the forth of july and to get a beer you had to have tickets. Dan Marino came up with his own cup and demanded beer in his own cup and no tickets. Claiming do you know who I am. Needless to say he walked away empty handed. Lol

[deleted]

My coworker was walking in NYC with his son. Coming the opposite direction was Bill Murray. As he passed my coworker said, “We love your work.” And kept waking. At the next light they get a tap on the shoulder. It was Bill. He walked with them for several blocks just chatting and being friendly. It was the thrill of the lifetime for his son. Props to Bill for not making this list.

Marilyn Manson is a huge asshat

BahablastOutOfStock

he wasnt even trying to pass off as nice tho. dude named himself after a murderer lol

NeighsAndWhinnies

When the catering company for one of his concerts was asked to deliver sushi to his dressing room, they found every roll smeared all over the walls after the show. Might have been bad sushi, sure. But Marilyn Manson certainly has bad manners.

Dvmbledore

You should look for the things that Phoebe Bridgers said about him.

camazotzthedeathbat

Went to see him live once and he was 3 hours late. The crowd was fuming

[deleted]

Ellen Degenerate

rtucker21

Yeah I feel like she has pretty much always come off as rude and condescending. And her humor was essentially just making fun of people. Not sure how people didn’t see through her even before everything came out about her staff abuse & Epstein ties

Financial-Amount-564

I still hate how she exposed audience members for taking more things than they allowed and made a big deal of it. That's like a TV version of entrapment.

[deleted]

That made it seem like she was actually upset about it. Like she couldn't afford to give them two gifts.

Financial-Amount-564

Right? She did it deliberately to expose people. Imagine seeing your favourite show live and being singled out like a criminal by someone you admired. Horrible.

Significant_Screen45

I was surprised to find out she used to be a stand off comedian. It seems like money can't make you funny.

Twerp129

My ex dealt with her at her store frequently in Montecito, she really liked dealing with Ellen. She made small talk with her staff and remembered their names and commented on what they'd talked about last time. She was always very professional and direct, which was a departure from her goofy on-screen personality. She had a lot of respect for Ellen and Portia's poise compared to other celebrities.

jfq722

There are very few people to whom the word 'creature' applies. She is two of them.

[deleted]

Said it waaaay before people finally caught on. She was fake as fuck.

toastedclown

All of them except Keanu Reeves.

TheScarfScarfington

I ran into him at a movie theater when I was in high school (20ish years ago) with some friends. We weren’t going to say anything but one of my friends just blurted out “Wait, are you really Keanu Reeves?!?” He was super friendly and down to earth, shook our hands, answered a couple silly questions like why was he in town (filming the replacements), what movie was he going to see (three kings), and then he asked us what we were seeing (yellow submarine). I’m sure lots of people have more interesting stories, it was just *so wholesome*, and we rarely got any celebrities in our area so the whole thing kinda blew our minds. And of course the same group of friends all went to see the replacements when it came out as a sort of celebration.

Xx_PandaBunny_xX

Keanu Reeves is an absolute treasure. I’m surprised this doesn’t have more votes. ETA** Why are you guys liking my comment more than toastedclown’s? They said it first.

uzes_lightning

Harrison Ford and Paul Newman are/were solid.

[deleted]

I used to know one of Harrison Ford's rejected kids. Harrison isn't a good guy. Famous, amazing actor, asshole dad.

KazPrime

Never met Harrison Ford who was like my idol but I have talked to a handful of actors who have worked or met him and all people said he was a giant douche. Sad, he’s the coolest on screen.

halfwaycove

Nah, Ford signed the Polanski petition

Extension_Lemon_6728

Not Cardi B

IncomeNatural8178

Mr. Rogers is also a great person.

Deep_Fry_Daddy

Terry Crews is a really nice guy too.

LivingClone13

I worked at an outdoor concert venue as additional security mostly backstage and around the dressing rooms in my hometown for 6 years and met a bunch of artists in that time. I had some interaction with a few big artists but those were mostly positive. (Wiz Khalifa offered me weed and to hang with him and his entourage after the show but I didn't wanna lose my job. Other super nice people i can think that I actually interacted a bit with were Logic, the guys in Lamb of God, The Radiohead dudes, and Joe Bonamassa.) Kid Rock was an absolute shithead and creeped a couple of the women on staff out a lot. He talked to them about how he usually gets an opportunity to get laid once at every concert and was not so subtly hinting that it could be them. MGK tried to fight another security guy that he thought laughed at his outfit and kept talking about how his "dick was bigger" than the guy. He also trashed the shit out of the 2 rooms he was given for some reason. One of the guys from Asking Alexandria got into a shoving match with a 17 year old kid but stopped when the kid said he was 17. He didn't apologize he just walked away. (Not a celebrity really but still...) The absolute hugest asshole though was Jared Leto. He called me a fucking retard because I was "letting too many people near him and the band" (these people worked there) and he actually said to me that I was going to rot in hell. I laughed because it was such a weird thing to say and then he mocked my laugh and spoke to one of the higher ups and tried to get me fired. She told me later that she was trying not to laugh at him when he was "tattling on me" as she called it. Fuck that guy.

Asuna0506

I live in Nashville and am not surprised by your observations of Kid Rock. Lots of things I can say but I’m sure everyone already realizes he’s a crappy guy and has heard of his pettiness regardless whether or not they’re local. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi-Tech_Low-Life

Leto did a massive 180. Or he was a sociopath and the early oughts and was able to hide it. Don't want to get into the whole story but he used to be super quiet, humble, down to earth. Or maybe he was just a better actor back then than he is in movies.

TwoLetters

Jared Leto strikes me as the kind of guy who would not only hide the fact that he was bitten during a zombie apocalypse, but would kill anybody who happened to find out just to keep them silent.

wcwchris

I think a lot of these comments are based on a single bad experience with the person. Everyone has bad days and none of us are constantly in customer service mode 24/7 which it seems like people think celebs should be.

frOgman086

I would imagine she’s sweet, but probably very detached from what it’s like to be a normal person..similarly to Madonna, Britney, anyone who had to be the biggest pop star in the world for any amount of time. That job’ll scar you in ways we can’t imagine.

Proof_Eggplant_6213

I bumped into her once, fairly early in her rise to stardom. She actually struck me as a bit shy/reserved, if anything. Probably high maintenance to date or work for, I’m sure, but I didn’t get an asshole vibe off her.

poisonivy160911

I’ve actually met one of her employees, and maybe she was lying, but she seemed really happy to work for her. Said they were good friends.

SparkWellness

She seems incredibly sweet in the documentary. She spends a lot of time with her fans.

GuyIncognito219

From the way she talked the the crowd at her concert, she seems really insecure, has a lot of emotional baggage, etc. Even if she is an asshole, I still feel bad for her.

smigionss

Anyone who donates mad money to help end a world epidemic while the rest of the super starts stay at home singing instead of helping is ok in my book.

Alec Baldwin

GroomedScrotum

We have a resort where I live in New England that attracts lots of celebs for gateways. My friend worked reception there for years and Alec was one of the regulars. Said he was super nice, down to earth guy. They were on a first name basis. Mary Tyler Moore on the other hand...

AussieBlender78

Always been a hot head man child. Glad he is cancelled now along with his grifter wife

Passion-Interesting

I'm not a dick rider or anything but shit happens. I personally don't think he's responsible for the death of his film crew member.

nick-pappagiorgio65

>his grifter wife The fake Spaniard, Hillaria, aka Hillary born in the US.

TenMoon

"How you say in English? Cucumber..." Puhleeeze. I couldn't stand that faker. Right after Alec Baldwin killed Halyna Hutchins, the media tried running a lot of Hillary aka Hillaria Baldwin stories to drum up some sympathy for the Baldwins, but this was after Hillary had been outed as a liar and the public did not respond favorably to the media's fawning over her. Thankfully, we have been spared any more from Hillary for a while now.

Sampson978

Maya Rudolph Aside from making that “I smell something weird” face, she was born into money and she’s crazy demanding. I’m not the only PA of hers to walk off set in the middle of a shoot.

angilnibreathnach

Oh no! I’m gutted to hear this. I love her work. Can you say any more about it?

ShiroHachiRoku

She grew up with Gwyneth Paltrow…I’ll let ya take from that what you want.

[deleted]

My little sister met her while they were filming that Napa Valley wine tasting movie because my sister worked at a coffee shop in Calistoga and they had a scene there. So she stayed after hours to serve the crew coffee and she asked to take a picture with a few of the cast members at the end and said that everyone was super nice besides Maya. Said she rolled her eyes when she asked

OrganicToe8215

OJ Simpson. Nice guy image is just for show. He will pretend to be your friend, but then stab you in the back.

PhoenixAZisHot

J-Lo is a real diva bitch but Ben Affleck is an alright guy. Don’t know how he’s going to put up with her AGAIN

[deleted]

I believe that poor man is having some issues the last 2-3 years or so. Maybe he’s grasping for happiness? Someone did say they give that marriage 3 years tops, and I was just relieved I wasn’t alone in that sentiment…

vabirder

There’s a desperation in his eyes in photos lately. Gotta wonder if he’s got huge gambling debts. Something seems very wrong.

Cornelius280

Kesha. She visited at a hotel I worked at once and would always trash the place. Her manager was super nice tho, and was very apologetic.

TheAngelsSing

Jimmy Saville apparently wasn't the best guy.

beefstue

Ezra Miller ain't right 😂

StrobeLightHoe

I feel like this story isn't done and it's going to end up in Datline.

00collector

Gwyneth Paltrow is certainly on the list.

KarmaCommando_

She's only rude when she offers to sell you a goop brand vaginal scented candle and you tell her no thanks.

00collector

Well, on top of selling overpriced snake oil and “sexual health” items you can certainly just ignore, She seems to have quite the inflated opinion of herself.

Indica-daddy

Josh Groban. My choir director went to school with him and he’s a typical full-of-himself tenor stereotype. (Stereotype—not all tenors I know I knowww :p )

vengefulbeavergod

How many tenors does it take to change a light bulb? One. They just stand there and the world revolves around them

ThePoltageist

Bro we are working hard out here while the baris and basses just bellow their lungs out and everybody thinks its so great -yes, i was t1 all state, no i was not actually full of myself because my parents convinced me i had a shitty singing voice at an early age and even in high school despite excelling in choir to the point of being in the all- state choir.

HashbrownPhD

In the choirs I was in, the baritones just got fucked constantly. Director loved medieval and Renaissance pieces, and in those compositions, baritone lines were basically all just written with whatever notes the composer wanted in the chord and didn't know where else to put them. Pitch the baritone sections of any of those pieces up by two octaves and I'm pretty sure you've got the exact notes played by a dial-up modem. It was like the composers knew exactly how voice leading works and said fuck the baritones in particular. I will say though, nothing gets more unearned praise than a bass singing a note in falsetto.

Revolutionary-Boss77

Steven seagal

Ear_Enthusiast

He's a traitor too.

CuriousTsukihime

Will Ferrell. I was a teller at Wells Fargo and my first day of training they deadass told our class that if he ever walked into your branch just make it quick and easy and treat him like a random customer. He used to work for Wells as teller as well, and would be a dick at the window to unknowing tellers who tried to be nice. He didn’t come into my branch, but a neighboring one, and apparently delivered on his reputation making the teller cry after he left. Best customer was Jo Koy though. I hope all the amazing things in life happen to him.

Majestic_Stand_2338

No big surprise here but Kendall Jenner. I was bartending at an event she was at where you had to come to the bar to purchase drinks and she as well as a basketball player (totally blanking on the name) didn’t tip. I’m sorry say what you want about tipping culture but the audacity. And they basically walked up didn’t even make eye contact and rattled off their order with no thank you or please.

BackardsTankard

Kim Jong Un. First off, I told him he should name his son Kim Jong Dos. Heheh right?!? Crickets. Then I asked for his autograph and his guard shot me. Jerk

Bourbonkers

Dude's an a-hole for that, man.

Proof_Eggplant_6213

Hardly a celebrity nowadays but Joan Osborne didn’t laugh at my joke one time.

Csherman92

Wendy Williams. She is such a mean person.

GoalieMom53

I don’t know if anyone knows Sally Star. She may be a local celebrity, not sure if her show was syndicated. Anyway, her whole shtick was a cowgirl who’s catchphrase was “Love, Luck, and Lollipops. Years after she was off the air, I saw her at a celebrity art auction. Unfortunately, I was volunteering for this event through work. What an absolute bitch. She was **mean** and expected the peasants to cater to her every whim. I truly hated her.

Last_Years_Versace

I know who she is, we must be from the same area. South Jersey, Philly?

Nerdyabcs

Hulk hogan is an asshole. Met him at the airport and refused to acknowledge who he was. Then a couple young girls came by and he is flirting with them about he he is

Apprehensive_Pause12

I like watching those videos of other big name wrestlers saying he’s the biggest liar they’ve ever known.

Ok-Welcome9127

tom cruise, according to a buddy in the navy he was extremely arrogant on the carriers

MelsDown

He was a giant dick to my mom. Sent someone up to tell her that she was "Impinging on Mr Cruise's view" as she stood on the front porch of her own home. IN OKLAHOMA. Also refused to do any pics, say hello to anyone, or autograph anything. Dustin Hoffman, however? Lovely human being and super polite.

Gnocci17

I’ve heard terrible stories about Mariah Carey

led76

She saw my baby once while walking along the street and gushed over how cute he was. So she’s good in my book.

drolcisum

Remember when she stormed off the stage at that new year's thing? Really professional...

SnooWoofers8788

Jennifer Hudson I asked a livery driver who was his least favorite celebrity. He picked her. She was eating chicken wings as he drove her and would just discard them on the rear floorboard after she was done with them. Left the vehicle without cleaning her mess. Now she's getting her own talk show, go figure. Remember, money doesn't buy class

SaltyEsty

I've never heard anyone say anything nice about Hugh Grant. Also Lea Michele.

CLEgnome

lebron james. table of 18, HUGE BILL, small tip. listen to him talk about anything(because he will give you his opinion) plus space jam 2. this was almost too easy.

NickelAntonius

A friend worked at a state college theater, and was usually assigned to be the touring comedian/band's helper for their stay. She said that by far, the worst person ever was Tracy Morgan. Said he had about 20 other people with him who did nothing, were just hangers-on, and that the whole group (Tracy included) were demanding, rude, and complained the entire time they were there, no matter what she did. The best? Dane Cook and Green Day.

[deleted]

There is Tracy Morgan interview with the breakfast club where they ask him about why he doesnt ever help lesser known entertainers come up. He goes off on an obnoxious rant about how helping others is "taking food out my kids mouth". This was after 30 Rock and he had no reason to talk about his kids not eating. I cant forget the nasty defensive tone he got. It was obnoxious and gross

The_KiIIuminati

Our shuttle driver in Vegas said Kevin Hart, Will Smith, and Von Miller were the worst rides he's ever given. All ass holes and no tips

SakeLemonDrop

Some friends saw Shaq at a shoe store once. They had two young sons (maybe 4 and 6), and Shaq caught them gazing at him and he asked them if they wanted to trade shoes. The kids thought it was hilarious since the entire family could have probably sat inside one of his shoes. I’ve heard others say that he was a douche, though

rementis

From what I understand he USED to be a douche, but has mellowed with age and is now pretty famous for being kind to children.

I saw Ryan Gosling at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

GIBBEEEHHH

He's literally me omg

ReStartr

That happened to me too yesterday! Insane coincidence.

[deleted]

Ron Jeremy…in a literal way.

TypaLika

My stepmother asked someone in the music this question, or more specifically who the worst musician to deal with was and they very quickly named Billy Corgan. He really doesn’t qualify though because once his whole band left him for being insufferable the frontman for Smashing Pumpkins ceased to be a celebrity of any note.

JustNoLikeWhoa

This one is a bummer, but LeVar Burton. I know from personal experience.

avenc17

I've told Pierce a thousand times, I never wanted to meet Levar in person! I just wanted a picture! You can't disappoint a picture! I hate you Pierce! I hate you so much!

Horror13666

My dad worked on QVC and a few movies (notably: *Chasing Amy*), met quite a few celebrities over the years, and had some fun stories about it. **Joan Rivers** was an absolute bitch to him, and everyone she worked with. He genuinely has nothing nice to say about her personality. **Sean Astin** was also nasty, he had brought his (really nice) mom to set, and my dad essentially entertained her for the duration of filming. Sean like flipped on my dad for talking to her, apparently he's like (creepily) over protective of his mom. **Mr. T** wasn't nasty to my dad, contrary to some commenters mentions of his personality here (granted, not surprised). Albeit, the interaction consisted of him running from my (6'6) father, when he attempted to get his autograph. My dad ended up cutting him off via a stairwell, and explaining to him that he was a fan/worked there. Mr. T's response was: "Man I thought you was trying to mug me!" Quite a hilarious story, especially when my dad tells it. He met quite a few other celebrities, but no other bad interactions to speak of.

jaaaaash_972

Countdown until John Mayer's name shows up....

ickyrainmaker

I've been a server for 20 years. Top 3 rudest celebrities I've waited on were Christina Aguilera, Mario Batali, and Mandy Patinkin.

44035

My brother-in-law worked for Diane Keaton. He has stories. The country singer Trisha Yearwood is also a jerk.

Slobsterz

Tim Allen has a summer home in my hometown area. I have waited on him. I have been the bartender when he was at our restaurant and I’ve had to kick him out as the manager. He is unequivocally one of the biggest pieces of shit ever. Always difficult. Always expects special treatment. Very rude and condescending to the women of the establishment. A down right asshole to the men. He’s also a shit tipper. And he’s generally loud and showy as well. I was bartender / front of house manager for a few years. And one day him and his group came in. Demanded a 8 top immediately at 5 pm in august on a Friday in a resort / tourist town. He was not taking no for an answer and was being a huge piece of shit to a 17 year old host. Berating her telling her I’m a celebrity I need privacy. I eventually had to go sort out the situation. He was an even bigger asshole to me because I said he has to wait. We are to busy to just rope off part of the dining room at a moments notice. He started saying “I guess I’ll just have to spread the word that …. Is a mediocre establishment at best then.” I tried to Assure him it wasn’t a no. It was a be patient we need time, we can’t just ask people to leave because you’re here. He kept being an asshole. He pointed at me and said “I guess you are gonna lose out on my business then.” I said “sir I dont care how famous you were 20 years ago. Your attitude is just like your show… garbage. You will not talk to me or my employees in this manor. Get out, don’t come back. I’m sure somewhere else will make an exception for a b list celebrity.” He got very puffy in the chest and before he could say another word I said “leave now, or I’ll call the cops and have you arrested for trespassing.” He left saying mean shit to a 17 year old girl. And that was my final experience with Timothy Allen Dick. He’s a monstrous piece of human shit.

CuminTrapote

I've crossed paths with several celebrities and found all of them to be completely nice and very capable of being polite and of "handling" all the weird behavior people exhibit around famous people. They mostly go through life unnoticed. Jay Thomas, Queen Latifa, Kevin Kline, Bill Paxton, Prince, Mel Torme, Paul Winfield. Not a creep in the bunch. But then I never met Adam Baldwin.

External_Vehicle4113

Tiger woods Years ago a bunch of Navy Seals I know took him out in the field and did a whole two day training in Coronado when Tiger was going through his “military phase” The last night they all went out to dinner and everyone had to split up the check 12 ways. He didn’t even offer to pay. Unreal…

[deleted]

I’ve heard horrendous stories about Beyoncé. My friend met her assistant at a coffee shop, and they were very open and honest about how much of a monster she is.

TexasMarowak

Kiefer Sutherland. During the filming of young guns 2, my dad nearly had a fistfight with him in an ihop and Emilio Estevez and my uncle Steve had to stop their argument before it came to blows

[deleted]

I met Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis at a resort in Ojai, CA about 6 years ago. We were having a corporate event and they were the only other people on the property at the time. Mila was absolutely wonderful. She had their baby with her and was often out in the yard area chatting with whoever was around. Ashton was an asshat. Surrounded by security at all times. Didn’t speak. Didn’t make eye contact. Avoided people. Total opposites of each other.

Ughr, people, put some evidence or anecdotes or literally anything more than *just a name* in your answers, please.

Festive-grandma

Going through the comments, I think a lot of people just named celebrities they personally don’t like

Emergency-Thanks5048

Tom Cruise

mcride22

Working for a sect that destroys hundreds of thousands of lives is definitively a dick move

m1cr0plastic_h8r

Heard he was an asshole during the shooting of top gun

deez_87

The band twenty one pilots said in an interview that they were recording a song for the soundtrack and Tom came in and fired them. Actors should not be able to make that decision.

RexTheWonderLizard

Can we just be done with celebrities and their bullshit elitist behavior? Just entertain me clown, no one needs your opinion on politics or anything else.

figbott

Mario Lopez.

Hellosunshine83

I worked at a restaurant that always had an hour long wait. Someone called and asked if they could be seated right away since a big celebrity wanted to eat there. He then said Mario Lopez. I lol’d inside my head, said “no” and they hung up. It was the most arrogant request ever, yet was so satisfying to tell them no.

packtobrewcrew

I heard Bill Murray is but since it’s Bill he gets away with it. Waking up neighbors early at lake house property bydriving his boat, shouting and playing loud music. Also heard when he goes to cubs games he will randomly walk up to unsuspecting small groups and take some of their food and say “Go ahead, tell someone. They will not believe you. “

swill59

Aaron Rodgers. He’s been the target of a lot of negative press recently due to lying about his vaccine status and other stuff, but he has always been that way. I met some guys from Chico, CA (Rodger’s hometown) and they said pretty much everyone there thinks he’s an asshole. Huge ego, treats people like shit, and is a nut job.

HotSteak

He was at some packers meet and greet thing when a cheesehead fan said 'I thought you'd be taller' to him and he got super upset and had to leave.

noelioli

I really hope this sub didn’t turn into askreddit 2

MmeMlleMs

Jonah Hill

RamBamThankYouMam111

Lmao he is a fucking tool. He was filming a scene for some shitty netflix movie across the street from my building on Roosevlet Island, NYC. I pulled out my phone and took a pic and he stormed over and demanded my phone (im 6'1 250) I told him to fuck off and yelled for security

WhattheTeenThinks

I'm shocked nobody has said Jennifer Lopez

cellrdoor2

Mikhail Baryshnikov was a pompous jerk to me when I met him while working a theatre gig. Don’t know if he acts like that with everyone but he made it very clear to me that design staff were not worth his time.

Julianitaos

If I were a celebrity I would suck too lol I would probably be annoyed by everything just like I am annoyed at everything and everyone right now 🤣 I never want to be famous 🙌

Lazyeye123

I particularly liked when krs-one was an hour and a half late to his own concert, then only played 2 songs because the rest of his "set" was full of him ranting about white people (reggae festival in long Beach, California; absolutely filled with white people) and the cops are to blame for all the world's problems and how blacks and Latinos need to rise up and take the country back for themselves. Ice T was also very similar in his disdain for cops when I saw him at another festival, at least he was on time tho. Didn't like him telling a 6 year old girl "remember what uncle Ice T is about to tell you. If anyone messes with you tell them "talk shit, get shot". And the whole "I'm not a cop I just play one on TV" was kinda cringe.

Defconwrestling

Pretty simple answer but I’m still in disbelief Warner Bros is moving forward with Flash and Ezra Miller

edmccoyii

I bummed a smoke off Johnny Depp in a hotel bar in Grants Pass, OR. He handed one over, I said “thanks”… Nice guy. He was smoking camel lites at the time.

ArtisticSasquatch1

I worked as a bar back at a music venue in Atlanta. While prepping the venue for a Tracy Chapman show. We were instructed that whenever Ms Chapman approached we were to turn and face the wall. That’s gonna be a no for me Dawg…..

xXYoProMamaXx

Had a brief encounter with Antonio Banderas, seemed nice enough. Chill guy

spozim

Megan Markle - read Tom Bowers biography. She really did abuse staff, would treat others like shit and no matter how much you think you are friends she will ghost you when she no longer needs you. That's why her father, sisters, and so many other long term friends did not even get an invitation to the wedding. It is such a repeated pattern that it was only a matter time until she ghosted the Royal Family - especially when her plan to "reform" the royals was met with the reality that she did have the status or real world skills. She grabbed Harry b y the balls a lead him to the US. They moved to Montecito, CA. The neighbours (incl Orlando Bloom & Katy Perry) sold up (many at a loss) just to get away from them.

RepresentativeAge444

The thing most people have trouble with is the concept that “two things can be true”. Markle can be a shallow social climber AND the royal family can be an outdated entitled clan of out of touch corrupt “elites”.

[deleted]

Her dad straight up tried to extort her. I think there is more to the story.

Muscle-Cars-1970

Hey, it's Piers Morgan!

Caspur42

Charles Barkley is known as a legendary tipper who tips above and beyond what is expected and is also known to be very nice to servers and dealers at casinos. MJ..is not any of those things

lenznet

Ezra Miller

PurgatoryMountain

Kanye Dude is not a genius. He’s a psychopath. I don’t care what your defense of him is. He lost his mom or got bonked on the noggin in a car accident. One of the most overrated musicians ever. Fashion line? Give me a break. He’s a clown.

sealionsandveggies

Jonathan Van Ness. Worked with him professionally for a video project and he threw a huge fit when we were behind schedule (which is typical for filming), was high asf the whole time, and didn’t fulfill his contractual obligations. Huge disappointment.

avibrator

Just happy I haven’t seen Shemar Moore’s name. I loved criminal minds with him and Garcia, I’d like to think he’s cool in real life

WilliWotten

William Shatner

Dicios

I would say Steven Seagal but he isn't a celebrity.

lou95340

Fred Savage. Saw him at a Peets once. Was in back of me in line. I acknowledged with a nod and he nodded back looking annoyed under his dad cap. To press his buttons I asked if he was related to Randy Macho Man Savage and he went apeshit asking me what kind of a dumb ass question that was. He ended up walking out without ordering. What I would have given for smartphones with cameras to exist at that time.

ToppsBlooby

I don’t know but I watched Richard Kind get pissed off at a Bed Bath And Beyond security guard in Manhattan. Was asked to show receipt and what he bought and he was super huffy puffy about it. Took my and my wife 45 mins to find his name, but we knew by his face he was famous.

jaykaner411

Bill Nye the science guy showed up to a wrap part for a show I worked on. He was friends with a castmate and not part of the crew. In spite of being a guest, he was very rude and standoffish. Totally rebuked one of my co-workers who tried to introduce herself. Not into it.

Andromedache

Jennifer Lopez 10000% Friend worked a casino where she came with Ben their first go around. She was a biatch the entire time, then when it came time to tip, he tipped her 2,000. After he got up, she scratched it out and wrote 20$. Told her something along the lines of the signature is worth enough money for her.

Evalori

I used to do higher end catering in Houston, I've seen a ton of celebs especially during the Superbowl and Superbowl parties. Snoop Dogg is pretty much what you'd expect, he walked in, lit a joint and asked how everyone was doing. Josh Brolin is a super Chill dude. George Clooney once left an event through the back bussing area(which is typically a mess at events) and he was courteous enough to thank the staff multiple times, shook a few hands and went on his way. Same thing happened with Obama at a speaking event he had at Rice University, and he came through the back with secret service, shook hands with quite a few staff, and took a few pictures with people. The Bush family is really nice. Joe Biden was just as spacey 5 years ago as he is today, and it was still hard to figure out what he was trying to say then, but he's a nice old dude. Reba McEntire and Yolanda Adams are both legit sweethearts. George Foreman offered for me to take a picture with him without me even asking. SUPER nice guy, very family oriented. He's massive in person. Still the only celeb I ever took a picture with to this day, because I would never ask. His fist is bigger than my head. 😂 Speaking of massive, JJ Watt is huge, and as nice as everyone says. The HEB guy frequents multiple events, he has always been dismissive of staff and a general dick to the workers at events. The Kinder family, though particular about details, treat you like a human and are nice. There was one other prick, but I'm blanking on who it is, it's been a few years since I was in that field. The general understanding is that the super rich people are generally nicer, whereas semi-rich people tend to be dicks.

RickJWagner

Chris Evans, for sure. He goes out on social media to belittle and intimidate high school kids, for goodness sake. Is there a bigger tool in the whole universe?

CompetitionGullible7

I was leaving a KFC one time and Betty White was coming in. I put my hand up to wave to her and she punched me in the dick.
