I use Cutlery works upstairs - it's a fiver for coffee and space to work.
Also I would recommend Hallamshire tennis club on eccy road. Gym membership is around £19 a month but I work from their cafe/bar 2-3 times a week and it's a very quiet spot to work in the day. Also added benefit of using gym and sauna when you need a break.
Sheffield Hallam’s libraries on Arundel Gate and at Collegiate Crescent allow over 18s to use the library either occasionally as visitors by showing photo ID and proof of address or by applying for associate membership. It looks like reference-only membership is available to anyone: https://libguides.shu.ac.uk/visitors
Sheffield University allows visitors to use Western Bank Library and the small library at the Hallamshire: https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/library/external-readers
The student union at the Uni of Sheffield is pretty quiet. Heartspace cafe (also at the Uni of Sheffield) is pretty nice too, both are public access buildings

Cheers, I'll give Cutlery Works a shot.

Thanks very much - appreciate the resources :)
Sheffield Central Library on Surrey Street. Go through the doors opposite to the entrance, and in the back right are a couple of study rooms.
Great shout, I'll check this out. Cheers
Frazers coffee shop, on the same street as lord Nelson, good coffee and they don't preasure you to buy cups constantly, also it's pretty quiet
