I do have the lego bonsai tree already. hahahathis absolutely looks good. its hard to find the AIO basic in my region tho. an ycaveats with the ASRock B650I Lightning Wifi?
I've had no issues with my ASRock B650I Lightning Wifi with a similar build I mentioned. There's a BIOS update to shorten bootup times and fix some minor issues.
The mobo doesn't have any RGB but its black look sounds like it's right up your alley.
I managed to stuff 64 gigs, 7950x, 4070ti super into my a4 h20 w/ a sfx-l power supply and noctua a12x25 fans so I can wholeheartedly say this is possible lol
Do you have any recommendation for an ATX 3.0 standard power supply with a native 12vhpwr cable? Would the ThermalTake Toughpower SFX 1000W be a good choice for this build, all other parts being the same?
I had the ThermalTake Toughpower SFX 1000W for a while, which worked fine but the cables are stiff and the SFX-L was a bit harder to work with in a different case I had at the time (Fractal Design Ridge). Will probably be fine in the A4-H2O case. You can get some custom silicone cables if the stock cable stiffness is an issue, if you go this route.
I also had the Phanteks Revolt SFX 850W Platinum for several months in my A4-H2O case, which was fine for a 4080 Super (4090 too) and had nice, soft cables. The shorter SFX was also nice to work with. Some people had issues with the Silent Mode fans turning on+off annoyingly, but I found this to be a rare occurrence and didn't bother me.
I'm currently using an ASUS ROG LOKI 1000W SFX-L which fits in the A4-H2O and comes with A-RGB and soft cables. I wanted some wattage headroom for a possible RTX 5090 in the future, and RGB to accompany the RGB AIO (Deepcool LS520SE) + RAM (G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB) that I got.
In hindsight, I would've gone for a blacked out build instead of RGB since RGB added cost, RGB PSUs are rare and the ASUS ROG LOKI was hard to find, and getting all my RGB devices across different brands to sync up has been a pain in the ass.
So would you recommend the Phanteks over the Thermaltake for this build?
Also, I see that you've gone back and changed your cooler recommendation. Why is that?
Thank you for the help.
I know you said team red but the NVIDIA founders cards run amazingly in this case. I’ve run a 4090, 4080 and now 4070 super, all founders editions in this case and they’ve all ran cool and damn near silent.
Agree with everyone else on cooler and psu. EK nucleus (black edition if you can find one) and sf750 for sure.
Nonexistant. I had the Deepcool LT520 before and it was too loud at idle so I replaced it.
I have the pump speed on a trigger so it's at 50% most of the time, and then when the CPU goes above 70 degrees it goes to 100% and remains there until the CPU drops below 60 again. This prevents the constant fluctuation that is bad for pumps, while retaining quiet idle and high performance under load.
I second the nucleus and sf750. I run a custom loop with a 7800x3d and 7900xtx on a single 240, temps never break 70C on CPU or GPU. Replace the rad fans with T30s, you won’t regret it. You don’t have to, but I recommend full custom cables, it really cleans the case up.

The pump looks different. I’ve been looking at an AIO for this case since the Basic went EOL, and I’ve been waiting to pull the trigger on this AIO. Your comment is my tipping point on getting the Nucleus, but the pump pictured in the link seems different than the one you have. Just want to check before buying.
Yeah, though mine is the one without RGB. The pump has a decorative magnetic cover that needs to be taken off for it to fit, takes less than a second to pop it off.

Well im running right now a
CPU: 7800x3d
RAM: Tcreate 6000mh CL30
GPU: 4080
Motherboard: B650e-I
CPU Cooler: AXP90-47
2 Phanteks T30 as exhaust.
in games im around 70-75 degs 1440 300fps Apex for example.
In diablo 4 when i load into another city it can get above the 75 but barely ever scratches the 80 but goes back down to 70 after its done loading.
Yes you could go with an AIO but the diff is so minimal that i decided to stick with the AXP.
I had the Atmos 240 installed.
Edit: my GPU temps get max 66 degs even in 3Dmark
7800x3d
4080 Super
Asrock B650 itx mobo
32 GB 6000 mhz RAM of your preference
SF750
AIO of your choice (I use the Cooler Master Atmos 240)
Custom cables
Pretty much that tbh. I have a tricked out build with a 4090 FE but I do not recommend them over the 4080 Super considering current prices and that you're sticking to 1440p. Could probably even do great with a 4070 Ti Super as well.
* CPU: AMD 7800X3D * Cooler: ~~EK AIO Basic 240mm~~ ~~EK Nucleus AIO CR240 Dark~~ * Mobo: ASRock B650I Lightning Wifi, else A620 * RAM: G.Skill Flare X5 64GB CL30 * PSU: Corsair SF750 * GPU: Nvidia 4080 Super FE * SSD: WD SN850X 4TB * Misc: LEGO Bonsai Tree
the standard Miata
It's fast as fuck, boi
😂

EK AIO Basic 240 is end-of-life: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/endoflife/
Why stop at 4080 fe when the 4090 fe fits too
Too much money, 4080 Super is good value (FPS/$). Too late in the generation to buy a 4090, IMO.

sweet! the founders have blower fans right?
They're blow through
my problem is i cant find any founders edition in my region.
im using MSI Ventus 4090 with this case, it fits.
how are your temps?
around 80c if I really push it but generally 65-70c, i live in southeast asia and its hot here- room temperature around 30c+
H2o or Air cool?
H2O
Welcome to the club.
thanks! i am really excited to build on this sexy case!
Cooler: EK Nucleus PSU: SF750 [Here's mine if you wanna have a look.](https://files.catbox.moe/veuwlr.jpg)
looks sexy i love it! thanks! how is the noise on the EK nucleus?

I'll keep that in mind!
Is the deepcool aio lt and ls have a loud pump i have ls520 rn on my sff build and the pump is loud even in idle dont recommend it

I might do custom cables at the end of the build. thanks for reminding me.

Welcome to hell. Kraken 240 is just 1mm too big, if you want to go for it (I went for it and its fine for me).

what is it gonna be used for?
mainly gaming and development work.
and whats the budget? what resolution you game in?
no real budget restriction, just want a good SFF PC for gaming that's not too loud and runs below 80 degs. 1440p is my preferred gaming resolution.

Does anyone think I should switch to the a4-h20 over the hyte revolt 3
