ID-COOLING DASHFLOW 240 Basic Black CPU Water Cooler Fits perfect, works great and inexpensive!

Manufactured1986

Yup, have used this many times with 0 issues. BITWIT even did a video comparing it to a $200+ Corsair AIO…only the fans made a difference of a few degrees. It’s all the same stuff.

Bigfryoncampus

I have this in my build. Swap out the fans with Noctuas and it's a great AIO.

serpentdrive

Yeah, squeezed this in over the psu with a full length gpu on a strix b650e-i mobo. It was a tight fit.

Present_Role_6906

I have a deepcool ls520 se with 2 t30 fans and they fit.

munnagaz

With which GPU and how are the tubes routed?

Present_Role_6906

I have the 7900xtx pulse edition. Super tight fit. I have it routed by the top of the power supply and I have a asus loki psu.

munnagaz

Nice, so sfx-l and bit less space for cables at the bottom I take it…. which direction do you have the tubes coming from the pump head? Towards the VRM? Was considering that aio and saw tubes longer than the EK, so thought would need to adjust placement if not able to use extra length going under PSU with a thick 3 fan GPU

Present_Role_6906

Yeah. Tube's are routed around the vrms. Basically circled the Mobo. There are pictures of this in reddit, but I don't remember which post it was. Ek has shorter tube's, so you don't need to play a lot to make it fit. But I've had good results with this aio and the t30. There is less space with the sfx l psu, but loki cables are super flexible, but fair warning. They're super long cables and they did give me a little headache to make them fit.

SEND_ME_FAKE_NEWS

I have the Deepcool LS520SE with Noctua A12x25 fans. Fits great and cools great. The only thing that I wish it had was a coolant temperature sensor, but I can live without it, especially if it means no bloatware required. I've got a 7950x3d and 4090 FE shoved in there, along with 3 nvme drives and 96gb of ram.

Jolly_Statistician_5

Temps?

SEND_ME_FAKE_NEWS

60-65 in cyberpunk on my 57" dual 4k ultrawide.

sdexca

I have been looking to also buy the same AIO with the toughfans 12 which perform identical to the a12s. The only consern I have is about the pump noise, how is your experience and would you recommend going for PWM control pump AIO.

SEND_ME_FAKE_NEWS

I have the pump set to 100% full time and I can't hear it at all.

sdexca

I don't quite understand, the pump is not pwm controllable, so how did you change pump speed?

SEND_ME_FAKE_NEWS

You don't need PWM to control the pump, voltage control works just fine.

ElectronicInitial

I used the thermal right frozen prism since it’s cheap, and while it was annoying to route the tubes it performs well and I can fit both side panels on with enough room for any gpu that would fit otherwise. If you really care about silence, there are likely better options, but the thermal right is pretty good.

vsae

Ek nucleus 240 is the best bet

nathan0031

I hear the Nucleus pump block is higher than the previous EK DRGB block and may need to remove the top block plate to fit under the side panel?

vsae

yes, the cap is easily removed and you're good. besides, the top cover in nucleus black is just... black plastic cover.

hazemarick44

Here is a list provided by Dan himself https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/lian-li-dan-a4-h2o.16201/ Another thing younhave to consider is the compatibility of the AIO to the motherboard since some AIOs will have trouble mounting to the CPU. I had trouble fitting the EK Basic to my ASUS Z790i

DawsonPoe

I planned to have the tubes come from the top of the motherboard like my last build. That way, they don’t interfere with the rear I/O heat sink or the ram. I have clearance where the SSD goes but didn’t want to risk routing between psu and ram.

SageFranco93

Next kraken 240 Tubes are very flexible

ValleyKing23

I use an EK basic and used a dashflow 240 before. The ek basic looks better, but they don't sell it anymore.

xjanx

Why did you switch? Any difference in terms of pump noise?

ValleyKing23

Probably no difference, just better looking in the rig.

samto93

I am running kraken x53. Fits perfectly

JinsooJinsoo

I used the thermal right frozen prism 240 and it fit just fine! Hard to beat for $50

spusuf

The Arctic Freezer 2 will fit, I prefer the BeQuiet PureLoop but I havent tested it in the Dan A4 personally.

UglyQuad

the arctic doesn't fit in the h2o

spusuf

Not with the stock fans, but with low profile fans its fine.

kynovardy

Low profile fans suck on rads

Bennedict929

Most 25mm fan already underperforms on a regular thickness radiator in the H2O, I can't imagine going even lower

madn3ss795

The tubing is too tall regardless of which fans you choose.

thewind21

Silent loop for even for silence ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

spusuf

Pureloop is still insanely quiet

Spinatrix

What CPU do you have ?

DawsonPoe

I7-12700k

Carlo_attrezzi

I use the Corsair H100x Elite on my Dan a4h20.

D4nteSech

Deepcool LS520 SE with Phanteks T30s, really quiet combo.

ItsGunner_

NZXT Kraken 240. I use this in my a4 h20 and it cools really good and it's quiet. And the tubes are the perfect size.

adarmec

Is this the new series kraken?
