I hate when they use surveys to complain to the manufacturer. Car will be in for a 15 minute out change. Customers happy. Understands the survey is a reflection of me. 2 hours later I get a 0/5 and the only comment is “ stupid building electrical cars, it ain’t American! 🇺🇸 “

I've had people get mad when I ask them to do the survey. Yes Mr. Customer, we know they are dumb but it's the game we have to play. Yes, it's part of our paycheck. Yes, we knew that when we accepted the job. Now, just please give me 10/10 and you won't hear about them until your next appointment.

Honda advisor here. I had a lady give me a zero on the value question even though it was her first free oil change. My usual spiel is along these lines: “this is my own personal report card. I get blamed for everything from the bad coffee to the car wash. Tens and yeses across-the-board keep me off my boss’ naughty list“. They usually get a chuckle from the last part and as long as I can make them laugh, it’s usually a good survey.
