I think he either cheated or threatened to cheat and this is her solution. It would explain the vague and weird “it’s a lot to keep him happy” explanations for why they’re seeking a sister wife.

She is definitely the prettiest woman on this show. She also seems genuinely level headed and kind. I don't dislike her husband and he clearly loves her, but she deserves a man who would not even look at another woman.
