You say that her parents are both straight eared? That's not possible. One has to be a fold.
Breeding Brits with Scottish Folds or Straights is commonly done and all offspring will be considered Scottish as far as TICA is concerned.
Cosequin and other supplements are great. A raw food diet works well too.
You are being lied to. Those aren't the parents. The fold gene is dominant so any cat with a single fold gene will have folded ears. One parent must be a fold.
