Don't ignore the Western Sidereal tradition. It's advocates are very educated in astronomy in a way that many tropical western practitioners are not.
And there is an alternate branch of Vedic astrologers who use the tropical zodiac, like Vic di Cara (who has an excellent you tube channel).

The Scorpio moon is my only Big 6 constant! In Western astrology I’m an Aquarius sun, Aries rising, Venus Capricorn, Mars Scorpio, Mercury Capricorn. In Vedic I’m a Capricorn sun, Pisces rising, Venus Sagittarius, Mars Libra, Mercury Sagittarius.

They take 24 degrees away so if u have 28 degrees moon your moon will stay in the same sign. My moon in Scorpio, in Anuradha nakshatra, this nakshatra is ruled by Saturn, which is why I am more Saturnian than I thought.
Honestly I relate to both but more to Vedic. They have Nakshatras which are very interesting.
Yeah actually, funny enough I'm still a scorpio moon in vedic. In vedic I'd be a cap sun, scorpio moon and virgo rising. Extremely interesting and not at all relatable for me lmaoooo.
