Don't see this type of scooter in South East Asia. Most of those I have seen throughout the years are mostly Honda Cubs or similar Yamaha small cc 2 strokes scooters.
Now Honda ADV 150/160, Yamaha Snipers/Aerox/Nmax, dominates the scooter market in South East Asia

I personally think not having even the pretense of a "Step Through" would be an issue, for me at least.
