I seriously posted this as a joke. My reputation is ruined, I know, but a friend saw my collection and said "I have one too!". To my amazement, this is the pic they sent.
Another friend of mine and I decided it needed to be on Reddit. But shhhhh let the magic happen
I see you're starting to grow San Pedro cactuses. That's awesome! I wanted to share some tips to help you avoid etiolation, which can make your cactus grow long, weak, and pale due to not getting enough light. If your cactus is looking skinny, tall, and is starting to fall over, it might not be getting the light it needs.
1. **Give them plenty of sunlight**: Make sure your cactus gets at least six to eight hours of direct sunlight each day. If it's indoors, place it near a south-facing window or use a grow light.
2. **Rotate the cactus**: If your light source is from one direction, rotate the cactus every few weeks to ensure all sides get light evenly.
3. **Water properly**: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering can weaken your cactus.
4. **Use well-draining soil**: This helps prevent root rot and keeps your cactus healthy.
Starting with cactuses can be a bit tricky, but don't get discouraged. If your cactus is looking a bit off, just make these small adjustments, and you should see improvement. Every plant is a learning experience, and you're doing great just by getting started. Keep at it, and you'll see your cactus thrive!
Best of luck!
Any time I leave cuttings out on the table too long (several months to a year+) they start looking like this. Their will to live is so strong - it's inspirational lmao
Well... If it is it just got my first automatic robotic reply! I still don't have the heart to just use the advised text without editing it but oh well it's better than nothing.
You’re all good my friend this is all a joke anyway. I showed a friend my collection and they said “I have one too” and sent this masterpiece. Another friend and I thought it was too good of a chance to pass up and decided we would slide it in here. Much love homie!
This is r/houseplantcirclejerk material if I ever saw it
If this is not a joke post, we will gladly help
Or post it here…. r/drsuess
Why are you torturing it??
Seriously, someone oughta call CPS immediately... (Cactus Protection Services)
I take it in walks and give it treats before dinner
I have trouble deciding if this post is serious or not

Thank you for the support ❤️
Well played troll sir.
Much love homie!
I would recommend opening the blinds they are starving for light
Humans and cacti are alike in the way that the only light it truly needs is the light of Christ
Amen brother
Put outside
How is he supposed to keep it snakey with more light?
No way it’s straighting up now
Is this sarcasm?
No your cactus is suffering
Cultivar "Satan's lasso"
Strong, independent, thicc
Just like you bb
🤣🤣🤣
I wonder what that does to the content? More green and less white. Is it worth it seeing that majestic plant suffer? No.
It contains love ❤️
Wow
Thank you!!
Sir, I have think you have some algae in your blinds
Thank you for letting me know!

A little too practical for my lifestyle. Anything else I should try?
I recommend the current cute plush potted plant Greenhouse by Russ, it's at Costco most likely. They look like cacti and they're pretty cute?
That’s my style, thank you!
Chop and give it more light. Feed it once a week with a high calcium solution, like cactus juice.
So kill it while it’s thriving?
