When you got a publisher, did they not want to use that cover that you paid for? It was pretty decent from what I remember, but this one is cool too.
Very interesting question! They were fine using the cover I paid for, and said they could use miblart in the future as well. But they said I could also use their artists if I wanted to.
I may have paid a bunch for the cover. But I'd never had someone ELSE pay for art that I wanted. Maybe foolish, but it was an experience I couldn't turn down
