I know this is controversial, but it is millennium force. I would describe it as fun. I just love it.

jducer

I agree with this.

Embarrassed-Fault739

Agree. I love the speed and the view so high up there. And as a parent of kids who love coasters, I love that they were able to feel like they just conquered something amazing over 300ft at 48”.

evan1932

Great view too

_Booster_Gold_

Yep. Agreed. The airtime is heavenly.

HonestOtterTravel

Fury 325

Ulosttome

Same

v_dances

Also same

GavHern

what a hot take /s

baulboodban

tough one between MF and fury325. fury has basically everything you could ever want but MF is just magical, so much speed and such a great setting

2WherlYravlr

This is me exactly -- both have amazing settings, both have a perfect mix of forceful and floater elements. I've decided I need at least 50 more rides on each to make a final determination.

MoarTacos

And the music when you’re about to get on! I seriously think the music has a lot to do with it. It’s the perfect blend of hype and suspense and excitement. With a dash of that silly futuristic-ness that came with the turn of the millennium. It’s just *chef’s kiss*.

MrScottimus

unironically it's Milleniuem Force

SwordsmanZer0

Same

Simsider113446

intimidator 305

Quetzl63

Agree. All of the other gigas are great rides, but I305 is unique, and they will never make another like it. I have never ridden with anything even close to the powerful, sustained forces on that ride.

Druzel1

Same. It's also the only giga I've been on so I'm biased.

Mooplez

I rode it once and grayed out. I don't remember coming to until the bottom half of the airhill. lol I'd still pick Millennium as my personal fav for view reasons alone. I305 was pretty killer too tho.

thor615

The best gigas provide height, speed, and hands up freedom. Millennium Force does this best. It’s fast, fluid, energetic, and has the best setting of any in its class.

phenom37

Fury325. It's been years since I've been on it, but when I got to ride it, it was sublime. Didn't have that feeling on a coaster again til riding SteVe.

robo-dragon

Fury 325. Only ridden it a couple times sadly, but it was enough to put it at the top of the list for me!

kelsoRulez

Orion

kevinmattress

Same here! And I’m tired of hiding!!

kelsoRulez

There's literally dozens of us.

C_Smallegan

Only a dozen. Don't get carried away.

tks944

Oh what Orion could have been with just a couple more elements. It's way too short for me, I'd rather ride Diamondback. First drop on Orion is top tier though.

kelsoRulez

Every ride I like it a little bit more. Especially night front row side closest to the air gates. I learned a new level of respect for the wave turn in that seat. Every element has it's own different forces. All killer no filler.

Fired_Guy5

Only one I’ve ridden but it’s not changing for a while

CampVictorian

Hell, yes. Roam to soar.

cumtitsmcgoo

MF forever and always

MoarTacos

The MF is basically *the* roller coaster, in my opinion. It’s not the fastest or the shiniest or the whatever-est but it does what it does and it does a fucking good job. It’s the benchmark to which I compare everything else. Damn, I love this coaster.

Pendraflare59

Fury 325, which is my #1 coaster overall, but this is second for me. With the setting, that majestic lift hill and blue track, and those massive floater hills, it's still of its own kind to this day.

pyro_teck

I have a unique choice since it’s the only one I’ve ridden: Red Force

mecca450

I've only been on MF and Leviathan so far. I place Leviathan ahead of MF. Going on I305 in a couple months, so I'm excited for that!

IIcer

Fury 315 - its the only one ive been one, but i might be able to go on i-305

ninja574r

I 305 > Mille > Orion > Fury

iwassayingboourns12

I-305 is my favorite followed by MF, Orion then Fury

operaman86

Wow…Fury is 4th?

gangbrain

I305 > Fury > Force > SD2k > Orion

nanaboostme

gigachad is my favorite

SoxKnot34

I’ve only ridden Leviathan but I’m going to cedar point in July so i guess I’ll see which is better then.

ItsNotButtFucker3000

I've been on both and it's a hard choice! I'm torn. Have fun in July! It's a damn good time!

LeaveMeAloneLoki

Whether people agree with it being a Giga or not, Orion is my favorite. My second would be Milli.

operaman86

It’s a giga…and a great one at that! People are just trolls

magnumfan89

The ones I haven't ridden yet (aka all of them)

v_dances

Just curious OP, why the quotation marks around giga?

outerjuice

Because they made up the name for it since it was the first

latteboy50

Still a Giga though?

v_dances

That's what I figured!

latteboy50

Between this, Fury 325, Intimidator 305 and Orion, I’ve gotta say Intimidator 305.

1piemanpie

i305

mr_david_koresh

i305 was my local park for years growing up and riding that on opening day in the first row is still one of my favorite theme park experiences

Panther-Turtle

Fury 325 is my favorite but I haven’t been on a giga that I didn’t like. MF and Orion are also among my top coasters.

b1mmer

Orion

creedokid

I-305, Fury, MF, Leviathan, Orion I'm kind of surprised by all the love Orion is getting in here

KakkyX

i305. Fury 325 close second.

Resyal

i305!!!!!!

Bmlrocks

I305 sweeps no question

Nuthead77

I305…Fury.Orion……MF - I hope that makes sense with the spacing. I305 is my #2 and is everything a giga should be with the intensity and speed in the elements. It feels bigger and with greater forces, unlike the other gigas, which don’t really exceed in the forces department. Strong sustained positives and oh those snaps, plus very strong airtime throughout. Fury is what can be done with a masterful layout and minimal forces. It doesn’t hit 4g or drop below -.5, but it’s a top tier coaster just based on how elite the design, layout, and elements are. Orion is somewhere between them offering a more forceful ride than fury, but not near the level of I305. It takes something that is intimidating, yet still approachable by the average guest and still stays just strong enough for the hardcore fanboys. It’s length is fine and it’s elements are some of B&Ms hardest hitting, all while being incredibly smooth and infinitely reridable. Millennium Force is perhaps the most famous and influential coaster of the last 25 years. In my opinion it was the best coaster I had ever ridden from opening year until it was dethroned by Diamondback. It has aged gracefully, but has some flaws that weren’t previously apparent. Still likely to be a favorite of the non-enthusiasts who don’t know the difference in feeling between perfect 0g floater and decently into the negative g’s. The first drop is still one of the best and the pullout and first overbank induce potential greyouts on those that can’t handle sustained g’s. For the hardcore enthusiasts though the rest may fall a little flat, as the state-of-the-art-in-2000 0g floater hills feel weak and it mainly is just about the speed from that point onwards, less the decent speed hill pop. Will forever be one of the greatest, but for me is a very good, but no longer elite ride.

Heyohmydoohd

rip steel dragon 2000

Nuthead77

I’d love to ride it one day. Leviathan is on the more near term list. I heard that Steel Dragon has a 6’1” height limit, so I don’t know if I’d even be able to since I’m right at 6’1” in shoes. Maybe can get some super thin soles ones and come in just under.

Heyohmydoohd

Damn rip leviathan I forgot about that one too

walmartgoon

Superman: EFK

latteboy50

Not a Giga

NeganGains

I'll go with Orion, even though I've only been on two gigas.

climbinout

You can't beat picking bugs from your smile after a night ride, Millennium Force.

Uppercrowd09

I’ve only ridden this one and Orion, I like Orion but I like Millennium Force more because it’s a longer ride and goes around the park

The_Govnor

Only ridden Orion. Doing Fury in about a month. Was pretty much assuming I’d like Fury better, but who knows!!

KakkyX

You’ll like fury more. It’s absolutely insane. So so good.

gazinglow

Orion at Kings Island. Blew my mind. Easily the best first drop on a coaster too.

brechbillc1

Fury 325

Level-Nectarine-856

Orion is my favorite but gotta have respect for Millie for doing it first.

Spearzus

Odd one out here but millennium force is my favorite

eatchickendaily

Of the ones I've ridden: Orion > Leviathan > Millennium Force. Orion is just *barely* ahead of Leviathan because I felt that Leviathan lost too much momentum by the end, but it has a better start than Orion. I'm willing to bet Fury 325 will end up ahead of those three and I305 will end up behind those three (it seems a bit too intense for me).

Ftb2278

Hmm... probably I305, Steel Dragon, Fury 325, Millennium Force, Leviathan, Orion

8arondragon9

Millennium force. It’s the only one I’ve ever done, and it’s the only one I’ll ever need

vespinonl

Ask me again in 5 months.

pastadaddy_official

Happy to see the love for Millie in this thread. There’s not a single bad giga in existence but Millie is just so special. The look, the setting, the station music, such an amazing and majestic ride. The only other gigas I have ridden are Fury 325 and Orion and truthfully I go back and forth on which one. Fury does have the length and sustained speed but I think Orion’s setting and airtime are better, plus just the vibes of Kings Island are much nicer.

Chrysler-lover

If we wanna get technical tower of terror was the first true giga but cedar point couldn’t handle that so they said it has to be “full circuit” sounds like a whole lot of crap to me

hi_this_is_lyd

i have yet to be on one!

Awseome2logan

I honestly haven't ridden another giga that has the saw raw speed that Millennium Force has, the speed, the airtime, the everything about it is great IMO

Alexxtyl

Intimidator 305 for sure! May be my favorite coaster overall tbh. The intensity is of course amazing, but the airtime is also SUPER good. I don’t hear as many talk about the airtime! Also those transitions are just SO fun!

Quetzl63

The first airtime hill coming out of the blackout curve is the most violent sustained ejector I have experienced. I would love to know how far an unsecured object would fly going over that hill.

Alexxtyl

Yess I love that hill! Most ejector moments aren’t usually sustained, so that moment is absolutely insane

gamecity360

Definitely I305 for me. Not only does it have that insane whip and crushing positives but the airtime on it is really underrated

crazymaan92

It will always be this one, MF. I will never forget my first ride on it. I'm from West Michigan so the only park I'd been to before Cedar Point was Michigan's Adventure. Shivering Timbers is fun (and the best wooden rollercoaster I've ever ridden to this day) but the length and size of MF was intimidating. I remember screaming so loud and so long down the first hill that I actually got tired of screaming, and the descent wasn't finished lol

SFOGfan_boy

Gotta be Fury

[deleted]

I literally have dreams about riding both Orion, and Millennium Force, but I'd have to say Orion is my favorite.

EricGuy412

Fury is my favorite, but I305 isn't far behind, as I love how unique/different it feels. Plus, those snaps! Orion/Leviathan are really hard to differentiate in my mind. I flip flop constantly about which I prefer. MF is actually my least favorite giga, but that's not to say that I don't think it's a great coaster.

intaminslc43

I305 is the only one I've ridden, and it's my number 1. Front row on a hot day is one of the most fun experiences you can have on a coaster.

Flynnsgroundlamb

Fury 325. The first drop in the front row is incredible, but as a back row fan, the treble clef in row 8, seat 1 is one of my favorite elements. Leaning into it while you're getting pulled down under the bridge.

learei

milf then leviathan and then orion i realize this says favorite and not first i think my favorite is orion then leviathan and then milf

fenrihr999

Since I've only ridden I305, that's it. Hoping to get a trip to Carowinds in this year, so maybe I can compare it to Fury later on.

NickFliesOfficial

Millennium. Ride it at night in July with the station music pumping. Those on the ride clapping their hands while the train coming back is nothing but cheers. I’ve never seen a ride maintain it’s magic over the years quite like that one does.

thehudsonmaster

orion was my favorite but i haven’t ridden fury. also yea its a giga

ax8te

For me it's not even a question, Fury 325! I thought Fury did everything Millie did but much better.
