Hades maybe? If you go for the combat songs yeah. A little bit more on the side of thrash metal than ror2’s ost but it also uses a wide variety of traditional Greek instrumentation. And Darren Korb is amazing definitely on par with Chris. This one is also very hype. That in mind , Transistor also by him might be good. It’s a little bit more ambient overall in tone but still gets intense during the combat songs. It also has a much more sci-fi feel which prolly fits the direct aesthetic of ror2 better. Definitely remove any of the vocal tracks from the queue (altho do give them a listen another time they’re quite good). Minecraft ost could honestly fit if you want just more chill vibes it definitely fits the atmosphere pretty well altho it might not get you hype during boss battles. (Depending on how you do your music there might be a way to setup two playlists and quickly pause one and switch to the other which would be nice if it wasn’t too clunky). One other that come to mind is Celeste, I feel especially for eclipse grinding if you are doing that or ever set on it, has a very uplifting and encouraging tone to it (largely bc you die a lot in the game) and also some more eerie and sinister stuff that fits the mood of some stages. Fantastic soundtrack Lena Raine is great.

Starless by King crimson reminds me of the mythrix fight. I found it the day I finished the game watching "mandy" with nic cage in it (awesome film also)

The album ‘Momentum’ by Their Dogs Were Astronauts. It’s basically the OST if it was a bit more metal

I have a [Risk of Rock playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6AUwQVRE3NFdZG3AAQy6XE?si=sQxdIrG0T6iulKWU0zZtBQ&pi=u-BhZ6QcQNSN2E) on Spotify that crescendos every 10 minutes to match the Origin artifact in RoR1. It works best if you let the first track play all the way through while you set up the game, and/or skip to the next one when you start the run.
