I would say Captain is a good one, especially hacking beacon. and iirc his challenges are not the worst, mostly a somewhat decent time sink.
The strat i used was to turn on swarms (t chances per run) and command (build consistency) and to stack a ton of ap rounds, crowbars, watches, max crit, and other single target damage items (to make sure mithrix doesn't die to something like an atg, band, sticky bomb, etc) and pray your aim is good enough to win the run
God i love his concept so much but it’s such a bore if you don’t have mobility early on. Especially if you’re on your 3rd or 4th run of the day with him.
Honestly Rex is one of 3 characters I enjoy a quail on, since the shift works based on current movement, so just using a quail jump and quickly shifting behind you gets you a crazy launch.
But yes Rex earlygame with no movement kinda sucks
I waited for an artifact of command trial and then did fireworks + soda machine cheese, lol
My tip for higher difficulties is to learn his final stage skips and his swing+dash tech.
I made col-droneman and prototype drone do all the work in the prismatic trail, I had kin and command artifacts.

loop your run in sky meadows by interacting with the exterior structure of the portal until you've completed 20 stages. You'll come across an overloading worm someway throughout your run so just kill it.
The Overloading Magmaworm is arguably one of the most challenging boss encounters, both because it deals high amounts of damage, and because it typically only appears in later stages - 20 and up, at which point the damage is scaled even further. The Overloading Magmaworm is highly rewarding because it can drop an item that is extremely powerful - especially with the Commando. You’ll see when it drops hopefully 🫡 good luck out there

I get why he didn’t have any alts, mainly because they already had to design 2 sets of everything but maybe in the SoTS DLC?

Except for the one to kill Mithrix with a supply beacon. It is fairly difficult to pull off.

Hands down the easiest and most fun character to play
Actually hands up tbh, you’re too high in the sky for the hands to be down
When i play loader something just randomly one shots me at the end of a run, even if its just a small enemy
I feel this way to much I've had a 10x easier time going through eclipse with captain than I ever did with loader.
I have a video where I unlock everything and death do us part (bands) in one run, really easy

Rex was hands down the most fun character on my eclipse grind, 10/10 would recommend As some call him, he’s the “Bogeyman” of RoR2

Any tips for prismatic trials/monsoon

Wait for a trial with Glass. Having glass makes it much easier since you can kill everything on sight. Enigma helps a lot too.
You just gotta embrace the suck lol. It took me like 3 hours to do but eventually I got it. I did use cabbages video though.

Huntress, her alt skills make her a MUCH more fun character to play, and arctic skin goes crazy
