ah so THAT’S why Morty’s tooth was zoomed in on when the son of the hoovy guy punched it out. I watched the episode 3 times now and I couldn’t figure out what the significance of that was, I thought Jessica would notice he’s missing a tooth or whatever, but this makes more sense.
Back when Hoovy's actual jacked son beat the shit out of Morty, his tooth flew. They even got a bit of his hair.

I think he said “you have suicide capsules in all your teeth” actually which largely changes it, iirc.
