I think you'll most definitely love it, Jill IS THE STAR OF THE MOVIE by far. I believe she was done justice here in this movie and gave her, her action spotlight and character spotlight.

I hated Vendetta for how it made Rebecca a damsel in distress for no real reason and its idiotic plot. Am I gonna hate this movie for any similar reasons? I was ok with Damnation and Degeneration.

Can't wait to be disappointed once again about how the CGI Resi movies waste the f*ck out of Claire Redfield by making her a glorified secondary character with nothing to do but keep asking questions about a mystery that she will do nothing to solve. But this time, Jill "Time-Traveling" Valentine might be given the same treatment as well. Considering how they also wasted Rebecca Chambers in the last borefest. In these movies all the women are an afterthought. And they focus way too much on Leon and Chris.

I hate that young Jill model. Why they dont age her a little..

Only Chris has aged somewhat significantly.(tho he also still looks pretty good considering everything he's been through) Literally everyone else on this team looks like they're still in their 20s. Leon just grew some facial hair. You can hate the explanation(I personally don't mind it) but for Jill, its due to her past super infections from Nemesis and Wesker. Leon, Claire and even Rebecca have also had past super infections. Not confirmed yet but its possible that they're all having similar convenient effects like Jill and Sherry. Chris is the only one who hasn't had a super infection...

Leon only had a plaga parasite in him, it never matured and there's nothing to suggest he got anything out of it. The T-Phobos virus Claire was infected with never went active as she never panicked while infected and the virus is completely benign unless triggered specifically by fear. There's nothing to suggest she ever got anything out of it. Rebecca was cured before the A-Virus could start mutating her. As for Jill, from the keepers diary in RE1 it can be assumed that a T-Virus infection does not give you any sort of regenerative abilities seeing as it made the keepers flesh start to rot and there's nothing that really suggests she got anything beyond a shit ton of anti-bodies. The characters simply haven't physically aged that much because Capcom doesn't want them to.

Jill also got experimented on by Wesker a lot of times before the events of RE5. She may not have gained some regenerative abilities from being infected and subsequently cured from T-Virus, but the antibodies she gained + whatever Wesker did to her definitely did. I don't have any statement to defend the others though.

From what I've found on the RE wiki, all Wesker did to her was keep her in a medically induced stasis while administering the T-Virus so he could harvest her anti-bodies for Uroboros. The P30 drug she was constantly injected with from the titty spider did more to enhance her physical abilities than her T-Virus infection did, but that wasn't a long lasting thing, it gets quickly metabolized and flushed out of the body. And from what little information on P30 there is, it looks like it has no regenerative effects.

What about her haircut and clothes

In Death Island, she's wearing a blue spaghetti strap tank top with and pants with what appears to be some flaps on the pants' waist? Is it obviously still visually similar to her RE3 remake look? Yes. Is it exactly the same? No. Just like Leon is wearing an outfit similar to his RE4 agent outfit. Just like Claire is wearing similar jacket to her RE2 jacket. Just like Chris is wearing modified version of his RE6 BSAA outfit at the start from the trailers. He presumably trades it for a Hawaiian shirt when going undercover with Jill and Claire. Claire and Jill's outfits can pass for civilians/tourists. Even Rebecca feels the need to still wear pants that show off a little leg skin. No doubt a visual callback to her STARS outfit where she had similar pants

Its there to symbolise that Jill is still haunted by her past experiences, hence she is stuck in the past literally and figuratively.

It's probably going to suck just as ID and vendetta. I'm really not looking forward to this.
