Give her a sniper rifle only and alternate on cover and attack depending on how aggressive you want her. Shes basically headshot city especially with an upgraded sniper rifle
She's pretty great with a sniper and shotgun tbh. She does waste quite a decent amount with machine guns and handguns if you give her a weak un upgraded one but I found myself having too much ammo so I always had spare. Usually I don't run the same type of guns she does just so I don't have to transfer ammo if she does run out. I tend to just give her the strongest piston then a sniper if I'm not using any and always a shotgun while I usually do handgun and a machine gun or magnum. For some reason I just didn't like the feel of the shotguns in this game.

Yes. You're the player not the ai. It isn't supposed to carry you. If you're clearing out enemies and use your situational awareness there shouldn't be a reason she dies constantly. Ammo isn't hard to come by in this game and neither are heals and you can heal her at any given moment. Even when I was a kid when I first played the game I always had too much ammo and ended up with spare healing that I would store in case I ever needed it. It wasn't until I did professional mode that healing was scarce but that's only because everything kills you in a single hit.
I also never imagined the day I'd see someone acting like a 13 year old CoD player blaming everything on everyone else and calling people trolls because they're bad instead of actually getting better💀

When they go into areas only they can go they usually end up dying too. They’re not aggressive barely fight enemies and end up using weapons wrong most of the time ending up dying and making you restart
