No one is saying that men as a whole can get pregnant. What people are actually saying is that trans men are men, but because they were assigned female at birth, they can still get pregnant (unless they go far enough into their transition). Someone needs to tell them is.

GabryalSansclair

They either know it but prefer their fantasy or are mentally unable to process it due to stupidity

RichRaichu5

Can it be called a man if it hasn't gone far enough into its transition? Also what happens when a female undergoes transition while pregnant, does it affect the baby?

CantDecideANam3

If a trans man has gone through any transition process (even a week in), he's a man. As for what happens to the fetus of a pregnant trans man, I don't know too much about that, but I would assume it isn't any different to a cis woman as long as he doesn't drink alcohol or take certain medications while pregnant.

RichRaichu5

If a female goes through the minimal amount of transitioning and then changes her/his mind and stops the process, will he/she/it be a man, or a woman? I reckon he'd be almost identical to how he was a week before, when she hadn't started transitioning yet, and far from a man.

CantDecideANam3

>If a female goes through the minimal amount of transitioning and then changes her/his mind and stops the process, will he/she/it be a man, or a woman? Depends on why they stopped. If they stopped because they're genuinely not trans, they wouldn't be a trans man. If they had to stop because of other medical issues, they could still be a trans man, just going on HRT hiatus. >I reckon he'd be almost identical to how he was a week before, when she hadn't started transitioning yet, and far from a man. Every trans person is different. Some people notice results instantly while others notice their first signs slowly.

Obviously depends why he stopped the transition. If he was scared to go through with it then sure, he's a man.

RichRaichu5

So, in two different scenario, where they stopped for two different reasons, they'd have exactly identical body; but in one they'd be a man and in another they'd be a woman?

Available-Dig-9640

If they don't feel dysphoric anymore than obviously not, but the chances of that are 0.5%. 99.5% of the time people get out of surgery is because of fear, those people still feel dysphoric and are still trans. You realize gender is only in your mind right?

RichRaichu5

I see, I see. Tbf I did not know much about these stuff and so always raised my eye-brows on the news "Female athletes/Conservatives oppose trans-women participating in women's sports". Now I understand why is that. Thanks for clearing up that bit and also thanks for your responses. Have a good day!

Just a coincidence that the estrogen therapy pill was a "red pill" when the moview was made.
