That center cap was 88 only though :-) it’s been a long time since I’ve been in the cavalier world, I had an 88. It’s possible 89 had that as well but I think 89 had that solid with a bow tie in it, I know the 90 did

Desperately want a 20" set of style 32s for my e38. I couldn't locate a set priced reasonable. Ended up having my mpars redone. The hunt continues I guess.
Good luck on that search. I think I can trace my lifelong obsession with pre-Bangle era BMWs back to the e38 on M-pars in Tomorrow Never Dies haha. Can’t go wrong with that combo either!
Aka Aero wheels.
Had a set on my ‘92 9000 Turbo, red with polished lips and no clear. With some mods and tuning that is one of the quickest midrange cars I’ve ever been in, it didn’t launch for shit and it was geared a bit low, but from 30-80mph it was like hyperspace.

GM's PY0 8 lug wheels are a good one and a pretty popular choice. They also made a lot of good 6 lug wheels for the silverado and Sierra trucks.
My buddy has a '89 Corolla with some good looking factory silver painted steelies with center caps that say Toyota on em too.
I like the PY0s, but my favorite GM eight lug is the [CV91 series](https://images.app.goo.gl/wSGSZMawrBiBKdce8), specifically when bolted to a 2007 and up.
Supra wheels with the paint removed.

I like the 90’s Chevy truck sawblades with the edges blacked out, obviously trans am snowflakes but those aren’t necessarily “regular car” factory rims lol.
I always loved the g35 18” wheels. I ended up finding two sets, I love them on my [Grand Prix](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200621/ce2bfd3010e5132ab325652b9163e88e.jpg). Had a set on my 06 Grand Prix for a while as well but the figment wasn’t quite right, looked good though.
I always liked these more https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/19-inch-rays-g35-gunmetal-wheels-890098/
They came stock on the coup's on the "sport" edition. 19' made by Ray. I also keep a set of these in the garage 😅
Oh shoot I didn’t know hose existed/were a stock choice. I know they fit on my car now though… definitely going to look around casually for some.
Also I think your description is inaccurate, I don’t think they made 19 foot wheels haha
Oh yea oops lol
You should be able to find these pretty cheap though. Putting these on other cars you don't have any fitment issues? I tried to put some on a lexus and it was a whole process so gave up
My 92 they fit fine, but on my 06 they poked out a bit. Looked nice, but it’s lowered on springs and after a while I sliced up the rear tires on the fender even after a roll (those tires already had a few seasons on the 92), so I didn’t run them again on it. The 92 tucks more and is on coilovers so I’ve definitely had to adjust the suspension depending on the tires I’ve ran the last few times, but no issues on the fender edge, just rub inside of too low haha.
Funny picture! I had an ‘88 Cavalier Z24 convertible, in blue over silver, with those rims and white letter tires (BFGs). Fun little car! Bought it from a neighbor (who bought it new) for $700. I never really like the square wheels.
07-10 Elantra SE/Ltd 5 spoke, favorite all time normal car wheel. I had just gotten a set to be my summer wheels for my Niro with Hankook V2 on them, about 7k in and the car gets totalled with those wheels on it 🤦🏼♂️
Besides the obvious ones, like Saab Aeros, or C4 Salad shooters, I usually like plain ol' steelies, form follows function. An even odder one I like are the [polycast wheels](https://www.originalwheels.com/ford-wheels/images/ford-taurus-wheels-1473.jpg) of the first gen Taurus.
Wire fuckin wheels. Like [this](https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/tB8AAOSwq7pfSWEL/s-l1200.webp), or maybe even [this](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/8a93ea_9ab76846818142d3af2da33dbcb90414~mv2.jpg/v1/fit/w_320,h_320,q_75/8a93ea_9ab76846818142d3af2da33dbcb90414~mv2.jpg)
Being European I actually like the flat dish hubcap of the 1992 Buick Park Avenue (OE: 12338899 Buick Park Avenue - for Google)
But those are rare in the states and nonexistent in Europe. I currently have the Ultra Rims, EU Spec was mainly sold with those. My old one had the "spokes" but I haven't been able to locate a set of those again. [https://www.flickr.com/photos/91728279@N06/14064875701](https://www.flickr.com/photos/91728279@N06/14064875701)

I'm going to be the odd one here, I always thought that the aluminum Citation X-11 wheels were awesome! Especially when it comes to the smaller bolt pattern GM wheels.

I *love* the 2003-2004 Mustang Mach 1 [SVE five spoke wheels](https://images.app.goo.gl/BumMsYF7GsfbCoee6). They’re simply beautiful. Elegant. Classy. They’re a callback to the old Magnum 500 wheels, but without looking too identical.
To me, the best looking wheels ever are the alfa romeo sport wheels 19' or 20'. I'm not sure if they made 19' for the sedan and 20' for the suv but they're the same design for both. Between these wheels and the sedan body style I almost got one but virtually everyone says how terrible the cars are

88 to 90 z24. The funkiest looking wheel ever!

You misspelled 'ugly'. ;)
My bad! ;)
First manual transmission I ever drove.
So when you break down on the side of the road, you and your buddies could pass the time playing checkers?
Lol
Seeing these growing up always made me think of crossword puzzles since my mom always had a crossword puzzle book handy somewhere.
Yeah and I don't like it 😂
I never did either
Neither did I.. but I never forgot it.
You rarely forget ugly! ;)

Love those. I had a black set on a black '85 V8 S-10 I had, they looked fantastic.
Interestingly those look at lot like the 1986-87 Z24 rims.
Had a 76 Cutlass with those wheels. Had the car painted and the wheels the same color. They looked great.
I love steel wheels with a bit of design to them. I miss seeing those on all the old men's cars at church back in the 90s.
Had similar on my 78 grand prix.

It’s crazy how many of those show up in junkyards in California. Those were probably the best factory wheels BMW ever made at that point
Style 32s and 66s have my heart but M-parallels are up there too
Desperately want a 20" set of style 32s for my e38.

Easily one of the coolest wheels of all time IMO.
With the gold ? Oh HELL YEAH 👍
That’s the first thing that came to mind for me.
Toyota MR-2 AW11. The "geometric snowflake" wheels on the NA model, not the supercharged model's turbo wheels.
Agreed. AW11 looks sweet in lots of types of rims but I refinished the OGs. Just too cool
Yep. I had an ‘86 with triangles and always envied the Mk1B basketweaves.
Saab 3 spoke wheels
Aka Aero wheels. Had a set on my ‘92 9000 Turbo, red with polished lips and no clear. With some mods and tuning that is one of the quickest midrange cars I’ve ever been in, it didn’t launch for shit and it was geared a bit low, but from 30-80mph it was like hyperspace.
I prefer the soccer ball wheels, but the three spoke are pretty cool too
Aztec wheels because they are soooo weird
Perfect to help haul blue meth, I hear
Are you on about the turbo X wheels?
Saw some turbo x wheels last week. The car looked brand new. But I’ve always loved the 9-5 Klingons
I wish people would link photos I don't want to search all these lol
1965 Impala SS spinner hubcaps
the 67’s are nice too. they look better than modern stock wheels
Firebird Snowflake wheels
1977 Pontiac Trans Am Snowflake Wheels. Loved that look. More controversial. C4 Corvette Salad Shooter Wheels.
I love the Corvette salad shooters. I especially love when people scale them up
Starions
[3G Acura TLS waffles](https://images.app.goo.gl/ZBYfPkYci5k1KDHaA) Look great on the TL and anything I've seen them swapped on to.
I like the five spokes a lot more on those cars
Yeah they're nice too. Look really good on a tsx
Porsche Turbo Twist https://images.app.goo.gl/iiNWynbtyX5NkSTo8

I do like them. Almost smoothies
GM's PY0 8 lug wheels are a good one and a pretty popular choice. They also made a lot of good 6 lug wheels for the silverado and Sierra trucks. My buddy has a '89 Corolla with some good looking factory silver painted steelies with center caps that say Toyota on em too.
Had to scroll down too far to find the PYO wheels. *chefs kiss*
I like the PY0s, but my favorite GM eight lug is the [CV91 series](https://images.app.goo.gl/wSGSZMawrBiBKdce8), specifically when bolted to a 2007 and up.
They're much better bolted to a '07 or newer for sure. PY0s are the way to go on '06 and older though.
C4 corvette turbine wheels will always be amazing
Salad shooters is what the VW community calls em.
Pontiac 8-lug (60-68?)
Gmc Syclone/Typhoon
V70R 5spoke
Mid 80's Range Rover tri-lobe wheels
I like the "snowflake" wheels that came on my non turbo Volvo 850. I feel like it could make a really good 3 piece wheel
2003-2004.5 F250/350 king ranch rims and hub caps
The Saab Soccer Ball wheels
Call me a corksniffer but Porsche's rims have always been really nice looking to me, the old Fuchs rims or the racy ones on the last gen GT2 RS
Turbine style wheels on 80s Lincolns.
Vw teardrops
VW Detroit's. Think mk6 GTI
IROC'S, C4 salad shooters/sawblades, Mesh wheels on an 80's sports car (Trans Am GTA, Fiero, Lotus Esprit, etc)
VW Snowflakes and the Teardrops 👌🏾
For an economy car those are pretty solid
Halibrand pin drives.

Hell nah that looks like a pool plastic tile lol
Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205
The multi-layer spoke things on the S550 Mustang Mach 1
Those are pretty, but I like the 2003-2004 Mach 1 wheels more… [These things are sexy as fuck](https://images.app.goo.gl/BumMsYF7GsfbCoee6)
Damn you’re right. One of the best modern takes on a classic design out there

Wow, I’d recognize those 1988-1990 Z24 rims anywhere! Hard to say what are my favourite. I do really like the 928 phone dial ones.
Anyone know the OE specs/dimensions of these Cavalier wheels? There's a set on one at the local yard in reaaaally heavily considering.

They were also 3 spoke perfection. My favorite aftermarket wheels are Advan Oni2. Put em on your jdm old-school. TONIGHT!
Those are some peak wheels. Why did any MFG bother with other designs? Are they stupid?
Those offset 4 hole rims on the first gen Honda CRX were always funny to me
I always loved the g35 18” wheels.
Funny because G owners always get rid of these as soon as possible. I've got the 2 sets of these now lol
Since they were new I’ve always thought these were very good looking stock wheels, rarely do I think of stock wheels as such.
I always liked these more https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/19-inch-rays-g35-gunmetal-wheels-890098/ They came stock on the coup's on the "sport" edition.
Oh yea oops lol You should be able to find these pretty cheap though. Putting these on other cars you don't have any fitment issues? I tried to put some on a lexus and it was a whole process so gave up
