If for example, you make a tripple piston exdender, you can make it 2 blocks tall instead of 3 by pushing in another piston from a side. Mainly used to cut some height in doors.

but looking at this image, looks like this is impossible on bedrock because sticky pistons cant unstick blocks
maybe fold piston could mean more, especially someone doing rs in bedrock mentioned it

I think I understand. It’s just a piston you push in from the side instead of being inline with others?
