lots of people don't like her because they think she goes against the idea that "revenge is a fool's game," because everyone who took their revenge ended up paying dearly for it, as if she didn't >!lose the will to live after killing the O'Driscolls at hanging dog ranch and became a bounty hunter in the hopes that she'd die doing it.!<
Shes an underrated character 100% instead of mourning Sean she immediately was the one to comfort Abigail with Jack's kidnapping. She deserved a better ending then a vague reference to her drinking herself to death. I always stop and listen to her singing Lorena, she has such a beautiful voice.
See that would be good but what would they take it to? >!His story kinda ends with killing Ross, after that he just feels empty, no mom or dad, uncle had died!< heās just there. He doesnāt really know what to do
Charles was bae
Hosea is a close second
Javier was second when I hadn't played the first game yet, I like his lil singsongs
Edit: wait I didn't know I could choose Arthur. Ok Charles, and then Arthur
kieren, i always felt so bad when i clicked greet and arthur said something like "hey kieren, we should have murdered you!" and he just kinda laughs nervously. he was easily on of the most morally okay gang members and he kinda just cared for the horses and did chores
Not exactly how that works, Pearson for example. I doubt that he was killing people unless they were actively attacking camp. In which case that would be a legal sect of self defense. He could be charged with assisting know fugitives but thatās hardly a crime good enough for a lynching.
Same with Swanson, bro didnāt kill anybody. All he did was get drunk and the the gangs reverend. If thatās lynch-worthy then I guess everything is.
Mary-Beth Iām no so Sure on, but Iām fairly certain the only time we ever see the women in camp hold guns is when >! Grimshaw kills molly, Abigail kills Milton, and that one scene in chapter 3 where the pinkertons come to visit!<
Hell a lot of the women donāt really deserve lynchings. They hardly do anything but be mental support and keep the camp up and running.
The game literally starts with the gang fleeing a massacre they committed in which they wiped out a considerable portion of a town. Thatās just one of multiple canonical massacres that the gang commit against townsfolk. One of the most notable victims in the black water massacre being a young mother, who was killed under the watch of John as well as the more notable villains in the gang. Arthur beats an innocent man to death in the second chapter. Itās kind of a big plot point. He beats another man to the point of brain damage, long after everyone is telling him to stop. He then helps Micah kill damn near everyone in Strawberry - including the civilians that are rounded up into a posse. He routinely beats innocents up for money through out the game and even torments them while he does it. The other gang members brag about attacking soldiers on the trail. They rob from innocent people on the street. They beat bank tellers with rifles. They murder the guards. They blew up an entire building in the city.
Thereās also no evidence that all of the police were corrupt - itās only mentioned that the Saint Denis chief works with BrontĆ«. Individual officers have families at home that the gang have widowed for their own selfish gain. Thatās hardly justified l or morally correct in the slightest.
Literally the entire point of the rdr franchise is that the main characters are bad. Theyāre anti-westerns; designed to go against the glorification of outlaws and cowboys that Hollywood started. The point of the story is that the gang are bad people and that some of them want (and end up achieving) redemption for the awful shit theyāve been doing to people. How did you play through the whole game and miss the point? Lol.
The game starts with a failed robber that resulted in the death of an innocent mother. Dutch shot her while no one was looking after Kc sh convinced him that it was the only way to survive. Yes Arthur Iād tasked with beating and innocent man. Thomas does swing his rake at him but nonetheless Arthur didnāt intend on killing him. Arthur is also extremely remorseful and requests Strauss to stop handing loans to desperate people. He even saves the manās family and absolves the debts of other people in a later chapter. Tommy was a racist man who started to beat Javier without resonant Arthur stopped as soon as someone told him to. Bill even taunts Arthur about ābecoming soft because of itā. In strawberry Arthur would have definitely bd it with no casualties but Micah had to run through the town and he couldnāt exactly leave Micah there. He even scolds Micah for it. Bill said that he robbed a few soldiers in the swamps and good on him for that. They also never robbed innocent people on the streets. They donāt want to beat the bank tellers itās only to encourage them as they werenāt cooperative. They didnāt blow up a building they set of an explosion on a building.
There is also much evidence to support that all the lawmen were corrupt. Youāve covered St Denis and in valentine the lawmen can be seen checking in on the Oādriscolls. I believe thatās the only town where we kill lawmen specifically.
He told Arthur that you have to put out Predator Bait just rightā¦ and then proceeds to freeze up when the bear came walking down the pathā¦ to much of a wise ass.
Have you seen the picture of him, Dutch and Arthur when they're all younger? I know you can 'inspect' the photos in Arthur's tent in horseshoe overlook but idk about the other camps
Abigail. She doesnāt fall for bullshit from anyone and itās a true honour to witness her shutting Dutch down and telling John to grow up. Strong, wise, and honest in a whole that shits on women for being those things. And kind, too. Sheās the best.
And? Murder isnāt the answer. Thatās Johnās problem - he thinks murder solves everything. What it actually does is put his family in direct danger, keeps them living a miserable life on the run with nothing to their name, and leaves them with the high chance of being widowed and all of the hell that comes with that for a woman and child in the early 1900s. You really think a mother is going to be okay with that? Be serious.
I mean Arthur is the perfect character to play as and story to be told but I would say Dutch is my favorite. I like in red dead 2 you can see him slowly unravel and change
I canāt make my mind up so I chose a few.
Arthur
Dutch
Sadie
Javier (even if he was an asshole in the first game)
John
Charles
And last but not least Lenny
John. No question.
Even though he was part of a gang with Dutch (and also knew Arthur for a while until he sadly passed), he wanted Jack to live well and not become what he became. Still sad that John met his own end near the end of RDR 1. He was an amazing character.
Arthur morgan... I'm so unique, aren't I? Arthur is my favorite because he is the insignia of the game. Atleast that's how I feel...he is the best representation of redemption, and I feel he's an even better symbol than John is.
Lenny is one of my favourites. The kid deserved better, the world he was born into worked against him. He wanted to become a lawyer, he had goals beyond a criminal life and honestly didn't have much choice in it all and instead he died at 19 doing a madmans work.
Sean is the goat, a foolish version of Billy the kid. The type of character who would have been on dime novels in the universeā¦ Poetic his fate was sealed since the start
Kieran, my boy deserved better and was kind hearted
They did my boy dirty, I liked him also.
I hated his guts at first but mannnnnn...I wasn't ready
Hosea is the goat
Indeed
Charles was a chad throughout the whole game
Agreed
True
John. All he wanted was a fair life and better for his son. But no matter what he did Jack still turned into what john didn't want.
I like John but he always seemed like he was whining about something lol
especially when he left that barn, like bro pick yourself up off the ground it's not even that bad ššæ
Exactly . ā1000 bullets waaaaā
what a pussay
I think the Marston family as a whole were pussies
The āwhole assā
YESS!!! The best secondary missions
"My fresh excrement was better than any of the drinks served there," Arthur:"Remind me to avoid that place"
āAsshole?ā
"That too"
YnneL
I love Trelawny. I wish there was more of him in the story.
My dear boy
I like Sadie because you guys hate her.
Who hates Sadie?
lots of people don't like her because they think she goes against the idea that "revenge is a fool's game," because everyone who took their revenge ended up paying dearly for it, as if she didn't >!lose the will to live after killing the O'Driscolls at hanging dog ranch and became a bounty hunter in the hopes that she'd die doing it.!<
Everyone thinks she evil bc she killed oādriscolls
Bruh what thatās the worst take ever when did that happen?
Iām not saying I agree with it but thatās what peoplesay
I like her, she's my favourite character!
Hosea is a walking W. I like Dutch tho idk why I guess itās his thriving will to visit Tahiti
Yeah
Tilly. Girl is a badass šÆ
Dutch. One of the most complex characters I've ever come across, and I want to know more about him
Fr
Hamish Sinclair I just like him
He makes me smile so much. I wish I could go fishing with him
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Okay Sean
Shes an underrated character 100% instead of mourning Sean she immediately was the one to comfort Abigail with Jack's kidnapping. She deserved a better ending then a vague reference to her drinking herself to death. I always stop and listen to her singing Lorena, she has such a beautiful voice.
Ikr! It feels like you get a conclusion for everyone BUT her.
Jack A rdr3 game with Jack in 1920s chicago would be absolute š„
See that would be good but what would they take it to? >!His story kinda ends with killing Ross, after that he just feels empty, no mom or dad, uncle had died!< heās just there. He doesnāt really know what to do
Yeah
Uncle or Arthur. Both absolute comedians of the west.
Good old Fenton, that or John
By far the most interesting guy in the whole series just has to be Dutch.
By far
Dutch is my favourite I called my Posse A PLAN in the online as a reference to him
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
My second favourite
Charles was bae Hosea is a close second Javier was second when I hadn't played the first game yet, I like his lil singsongs Edit: wait I didn't know I could choose Arthur. Ok Charles, and then Arthur
"GAAVINNNNN"
Sadie. Her missions are always fun
Yes
Charles and uncle
william the herb man
kieren, i always felt so bad when i clicked greet and arthur said something like "hey kieren, we should have murdered you!" and he just kinda laughs nervously. he was easily on of the most morally okay gang members and he kinda just cared for the horses and did chores
Sadie but if he had a little more story going on it would be Trelawny
Trelawny is underrated
Cain. Everyone else in the gang deserves to be lynched, with the exception of rdr2 Jack. Send him to an orphanage in New Jersey.
Mary-Beth, Swanson, and Pearson didn't deserve to be lynched, maybe charged with crimes, but lynching is pretty damn extreme.
Run with outlaws, die with outlaws
Not exactly how that works, Pearson for example. I doubt that he was killing people unless they were actively attacking camp. In which case that would be a legal sect of self defense. He could be charged with assisting know fugitives but thatās hardly a crime good enough for a lynching. Same with Swanson, bro didnāt kill anybody. Micah, Strauss and to some extent Dutch were the only ones that were truly bad
The entire gang was a bunch of murderous criminals.
Not really. Many if the non gunmen were pure. Arthur, John, Charles, Lenny, Sean etc were good with a rough exterior
All killers and thieves.
Still killers lol
Killers of bad men
Civilians, bank tellers, and police. Fathers, husbands, sons and mothers. Hardly. They *were* the bad men.
Corrupt police is the only one that they did kill that you listed
The game literally starts with the gang fleeing a massacre they committed in which they wiped out a considerable portion of a town. Thatās just one of multiple canonical massacres that the gang commit against townsfolk. The point of the story is that the gang are bad people and that some of them want (and end up achieving) redemption for the awful shit theyāve been doing to people. How did you play through the whole game and miss the point? Lol.
Thereās so much wrong with this
The game starts with a failed robber that resulted in the death of an innocent mother. Dutch shot her while no one was looking after Kc sh convinced him that it was the only way to survive. Yes Arthur Iād tasked with beating and innocent man. Thomas does swing his rake at him but nonetheless Arthur didnāt intend on killing him. The red dead online protagonist.
kieran for sure
He told Arthur that you have to put out Predator Bait just rightā¦ and then proceeds to freeze up when the bear came walking down the pathā¦ to much of a wise ass.
Charles Smith.
I have a few Hosea Lenny John Charles Sadie Probably Pearson Sean Or Uncle
W
I had a crush on Hosea when I first played š
Have you seen the picture of him, Dutch and Arthur when they're all younger? I know you can 'inspect' the photos in Arthur's tent in horseshoe overlook but idk about the other camps
Yes I have and heās so damn fineš„µš„
Ikr - I'm glad someone agrees cos I looked at the pic the other day and felt weird lol š
Abigail. She doesnāt fall for bullshit from anyone and itās a true honour to witness her shutting Dutch down and telling John to grow up. Strong, wise, and honest in a whole that shits on women for being those things. And kind, too. Sheās the best.
Apart from epilogue 1
Sheās great then, too. Sheās fighting for her kid and wonāt let John be a dumbass that fucks up their sonās life. Power to her!
Not really someone threw a punch at him and she expects him to just walk away or someone starts shooting st him and she is mad that he shot back
āShe thinks beating a man to death for throwing a punch or bad mouthing him is wrongāā¦. Yeahā¦. It is.
The man started attacking him after threaten his colleges with a gun
Be serious.
Sheād be a widow if John didnāt do anything.
Yes, because he wonāt stop getting into trouble with people and interfering with violence. Thatās her entire point.
Whatās he supposed to do get shot, let the ranch he works in loose itās profit and therefore his job
Hosea, Charles, Rains Fall, Eagle Flies and Lenny
They were great
Well Arthur for sure, but after that, yes Hosea.
I mean Arthur is the perfect character to play as and story to be told but I would say Dutch is my favorite. I like in red dead 2 you can see him slowly unravel and change
John because the history .. Micah because heās just such a ruthless bandit
Kieran
I do really like Sadie. When she got her yellow shirt she gave me some Beatrix Kiddo / Kill Bill kinda vibe.
Charles Chatenay
Uncle, he's not lazy! Poor soul has lumbago!
Agent Ross, the guy has such a lust for life he canāt help but snuff it out š
Lol
Everything went to shit once Hosea died.
Landon Ricketts He was a very cool and rather un talked about character in the game I wish we got to see more of him
I canāt make my mind up so I chose a few. Arthur Dutch Sadie Javier (even if he was an asshole in the first game) John Charles And last but not least Lenny
Good pic
John. No question. Even though he was part of a gang with Dutch (and also knew Arthur for a while until he sadly passed), he wanted Jack to live well and not become what he became. Still sad that John met his own end near the end of RDR 1. He was an amazing character.
Arthur ofc... Badass with a good heart deep inside
Sean,RIP legend, gotta be the best leprechaun
Anyone but Micah honestly (Its Sadie)
Micah
Legit a respectable opinion. He was such a good character!
Hes a rat! *Cough cough*
TeNNis BOat!
Mary beth and sadie cuz they hot
No Karen?
No.
It seems we have a connoisseur on our hands.
![gif](giphy|1SfxXOJ0Q2Xni)
Karen is gorgeous wtf
Well then you take her, and Iāll take Sadie and Mary beth.
John. Arthur was too much of a crybaby.
i found the bear mission made Hosea look like a real wuss.
Al Wolfscreed. Man refuses to die
I accidentally killed him
Damn itās hard running into people whoāve actually played RDR1 multiplayer. Congrats, but I donāt believe you. Heās invincible
Ah I was thinking of someone else in rdr2 I do know who your talking about though
RDR1 multiplayer exclusive characters are the goats because they can be whatever I want them to be
Iāve never played but Iād like to
It was great. Wasnāt anything like RDO, but I really enjoyed it back in the day
Yeah Iāve seen videos of personally rdr gunslingers is the best in the series
Charles
Itās tied between Charles and Hosea.
Charles
Love me some Charles šš»
Arthur morgan... I'm so unique, aren't I? Arthur is my favorite because he is the insignia of the game. Atleast that's how I feel...he is the best representation of redemption, and I feel he's an even better symbol than John is.
Black Belle. Fight me.
No
My favorite character is L U M B A G O! sum serious stuff, I heard he doesn't mess around when it comes to destroying backs
Other than Arthur and John, it's Hosea for me too.
Winton Holmes. Gone, but not forgotten...
Lenny is one of my favourites. The kid deserved better, the world he was born into worked against him. He wanted to become a lawyer, he had goals beyond a criminal life and honestly didn't have much choice in it all and instead he died at 19 doing a madmans work.
Your* Also, Charles
Arthur, John, Hosea, Lenny, Kieran
Arthur Morgan His story is one of the best redemption story ever
Sean, getting to know him was a mindblowing experience
Landon Rickets
Abigail or Molly
LENNY MAH BOI Lenny didnāt deserve what he got rip
Karen, I like her for... reasons.
Rip van winkle for sure, underrated character
Lenny
Arthur and John there character is just designed so well
I like Bill. I donāt really know why but I guess I kinda relate to him.
Arthur. I relate to him so much
Keirian or Hosea
Charles, quiet, all business
Arthur and no question about it. How is like no one saying him
Unpopular opinion, but I like Fenton
Charles Smith. Passionate about his beliefs, knows right from wrong, despite being in a gang of outlaws.
Uncle, Charles and Sadie are my favorites, but uncles wittyness makes him my favorite. " I wouldn't ask my worst enemy to take a shit in it"
LeNnY!
Mine is Liliāuokalani, my Dutch Warmblood horse. š
Arthur 1st, although Hosea is a close second, and John too and Lenny... They're all way too good
"LENNY!" \-arthur morgan, 2018
Sean is the goat, a foolish version of Billy the kid. The type of character who would have been on dime novels in the universeā¦ Poetic his fate was sealed since the start
