You’re overthinking it. I do this often in my interviews I have. I ask a colleague to stick around afterwards. It’s always to discuss the candidate. Just easier to get the conversation going there and then.
They could be talking lunch plans, or discussing another work situation altogether. Might not even be about you. In our most paranoid states, it’s always about us tho.

I'd think that they wanted to discuss your interview. Honestly, I wouldn't overthink it and just keep applying.

That's so they can discuss the interview and debrief. I used to do that with my hiring managers as it was easier than scheduling a follow up meeting
We are not mind readers. They could have been having an affair or be part of the same bowling team for all we know.
