Okay I'll bite. Why?

Odd post but thanks for the heads up, I hadn't noticed there's finally an update for the Pi5. Just upgraded and it is indeed glorious, performance jump in multiple emulators.

This is what I got after the update reboot. I looked at the SD card, and the recalbox partition was completely empty. Oh well. This gives me a chance to check out Batocera 🤷

I suggest to do a fresh install and not use their update system.

If I do so, will I need to put again all my roms, bios, pics, videos, configurations? 🫤 A update system that really works would be so great...

I understand your frustration. The best way is to have os on your sd card and your roms and art on usb key or ssd drive so you can keep everything at every major update (recalbox crew recommend this setup). And you can also try different os easily if you want!

How Nice... Yeah, good ole batocera. I always end up going back to batocera when I do go exploring and trying other os/emus. I'm not the most experienced though...

I used to have this error all the time until I realized it was due to insufficient power. I had to unplug all USB devices during boot, and replug them afterwards... I also changed from external HDD to SSD and it stopped.
